I lived in Bangkok for 4 years and have followed the lives of the Thai royals. I never heard of this story. The king loved Sirikit very much. He took her picture all the time. He was her biggest fan.

I actually did hear the story in Bangkok many many years ago. Be that as it may, the king was involved in many good projects and was a scholar and interested in science. If there were personal tragedies, they should remain private.
