This song from Wildflowers Music puts a smile on my face every time I catch it because there is so much talent in each of these artists that Nanci Griffith would be both humbled and proud to see how one of her thought-provoking tracks has been transformed through such artistry. (this song was a deep one for Nanci with the life and road she took to pursue her craft). Well done Jillian, Kellie Lin, Amanda and Tracie, not to mention Matthew!
This is beautiful. And I’m personally grateful to you for keeping Nanci’s songs alive & relevant, without her to share her words & her voice with us any longer. I think it would be the worst kind of tragedy if her songs were allowed to slowly ebb in her absence, and with them, the messages she quietly shared with anyone who was willing to listen. Thank you for doing it so well ❤️
