Definitely love the sound of this kit! Truly sounds amazing and spectacular. Pearl Drums are truly one of the best drum kits there is out there and I so happen to have one of them as well and they also do sound amazing! Israel loves energy. Not “chops” energy… this is not a “chop heavy” situation. It’s more power, musicality and knowing when and where to build songs in worship.

Excellent to get a look at the kit, both before and after you changed cymbals and swapped snares. Funny thing is, I would have kept the snares the way they were, and cranked the deep main snare extra high and tight, and the 6in auxiliary on the left would be tuned low and fat 🤣

What type of skins do you use? I always have trouble with my floor tom losing it's sustain but when I hold it off of the ground it sound good...any tips on that bro? BTW your playing is amazing..keep on playing for the lord

@@carlinmuccular I cant remember the brand. They were only about 4 to $500 so not a very good named brand. & yes I love remo emperor for the top heads and remo ambassador for the bottom heads...have u tried remo black sued emperor? The have a really good deep sound

You want to make sure all your tuning lugs sound the same when you tap on them. It’s a method I got from Dave Weckl.

Without the glass, the cymbals would bleed into the mics, regardless of dynamics.

Well I hear ya but that’s always true. The shield is too make sure everything sounds isolated and clear in the room and for the internet stream. Doesn’t matter how loud you play honestly.
