Definitely would swap daily on ear/in ear, since i like on ear much more because of comfort, but while being outside running when its windy or being in bus, in ear will isolate more outside noise
thanks! i just ordered a pair, hopefully they will stay on my ears because i have really tiny earholes for some reason lol. got the transparent purple version, reminds me of the 90s 💜
Great review. I am on the market for noise-cancelling earbuds and I am seriously considering these. I would however seriously only use them with the in-ear configuration since I am after good ANC at an equally good price point. I feel this kit does both.
I would prefer the sealing tips, gives great sound, if there was multipoint in flex it would become my primary choice because these are very very comfortable
The audio with these earbuds is out of sync with youtube/netflix etc. Idk how to fix, it's all up to date, I reconnected their bluetooth connectivity etc
just bought it today. with the base EQ selected, if volume is at maximum, it starts making weird noise and also destroys the sound. don't know if mine if defective or is it just it is. Open to suggestions to fix this. ✌✌✌
I know this is question is a year old but if you haven’t already found the answer all earbuds that don’t have ear wrappings won’t stay in for an entire run unless you shove them in to where the music is super muted because your folding the ear play parts of it
I definetely have an issue removing the open ear tips. It's not easy and the result is a "damaged" ear tip that does not look as nice and it gets dirty real quick.
Normal i prefere the open fit design. Easy plug in, and lets the ear breathe a little. The in ear does not really fit my ears, its difficult to plug them in, but they can fit. Bought the tws300, but sadlly they have no app connectivity. Then i recieved the tws230 as a gift and after struggling with fitting in the ears, i Love the anc Now i just wish i had the tune Flex. For the price each tws300 and tws230, i think the quality is good👍
Have to disagree about these. The ANC is not even there. I bought a pair, tried the Anc level 6, heard no difference between that and having it turned off. Returned it for another pair, and lo and behold the Anc didn’t work this time either. If Anc is part of your marketing then it should at least be discernible when turned on. Worst purchase ever and I feel scammed.
I got these as a random Xmas present from my sister because she is addicted to Kohl's Cash so they were basically free for her. I'm quite impressed with the sound quality and the software. And the noise canceling surprised me.
For some reason I have a range problem with my huawei mate 20 pro. If the phone is further than 50cm the sound cuts out or if I move suddenly, anyone know what the problem is and how I can fix it?
Good day Sir, sorry just new here using jbl flex tune I dont know how to control volume using the earbud. What I'm doing is just control/adjust it thru my phone. How to make it in low or high volume by tapping my flex tune earbuds?
My fav feature is Google fast pair it's crazy how fast they connect but I also find that the ANC is not that good it only reduces noise a little bit, but you still can hear, I think ANC is only useful when playing music it gives better experience. In the end I don't think JBL's are known for the best ANC in the market bc I also have the Live 660 and the ADAPTIVE NOISE CANCELING isn't really what you expect just reducing most of the noise. I consider that sony headphones has a way better noise canceling.
Thanks for the review! Tell me, does it make sense to change jbl reflect flow pro to this model? . I prefer to listen to club music (trance), vocals. If you had experience using jbl reflect flow pro, help me decide. Proximity sensors and water protection are not essential. Or some other model to experience the new sound of my music.
Are they comfortable to wear? I bought the Samsung earbuds but they aren't comfortable at all, even with switching the extra sizes. So I'm considering to buy these. What do you think?
@@TotallydubbedHD I watched your video and it wasn't clear to me if the earbuds sat tight in your ears and didn't fall out. That was my experience with the earbuds from Samsung and those were the live pro 2. They are slippery and not very comfortable so that is why I'm considering other earbuds. I hope you can share your experience with the jbl flex tune. But thanks for your reply much appreciated.
Hmm, I planned to buy it in 11/11 event but I changed my mind after watching. Look like the transformation process is not easy as I expect. Btw thank you for the video
Thanks! You could use it without the app, but I'd highly suggest getting the app for the setup and EQ. Then after doing that you don't have to use the app at all, just have it in the background.
I struggle with them on open air. The wind even created while walking is deadly loud! There is no possibility to for example cycle with them. I used airports before and I had no similar issue. Any ideas?
I would like to ask if this JBL Tune flex is good for FB Messenger call as I had a JBL Jump endurance but when I make a phone call using FB Messenger my listeners didn't hear me. Please advise thanks
@@davidthomas4065 yes unfortunately you can't rely on honest reviews by tec RU-vidrs anymore most are biased and paid to only give pros and no cons I bought a couple of JBL tws buds before and they sound trash with little sub bass with no impact or punch
HI! Thanks for the review! I'm looking for semi in-ear buds since I can't stand in-ear, but I'd like the best sound quality. You say these aren't the best, but I guess you're comparing them with other in-ear headphones. Which semi in-ear headphones would you say have the best sound quality?
@@TotallydubbedHD Thanks for your answer but I didn't say anything about the price point. Do you know any other non-in-ears with better sound, independently of its price?
I think the AirPods 3 have better sound quality, but these ones might have better noise isolation with the silicone tips and ANC option. I have the AirPods 2 which have really good sound quality with no distortion but they don’t block outside noise unless you use high volume
I am considering to buy these. My first question is do they stay in the ear well during exercising and running. And also what about the latency for watching movies, is it bad?
I had the ghost edition of these for half a year now and I think they are great, but there is room for improvement. After two months or so, the charging wasn't working properly because the contacts were a bit dirty and rusty. They also got a bit dusty inside which doesn't look good at all. The right one started being a bit too silent after 4 months, but the latest firmware update brought a slider to the app to balance the volume of the right and left earbuds. Overall, they are great earbuds, the sound is very good, but there is definitely room for improvement. Edit: the noise cancelling doesn't work idk why
Hi there. I just bought them like a week ago. I noticed there is a little crack on one of the buds (probably will take them to store looking for replacement). Question. Do you hear a clear diference when turning on Ambient Sound?? (I like to use them at the gym and would like to be able to hear people or other sounds without having to remove them from my ears. And does the touch controls get messed up quite often?? I have to reset mines every 2 days cause they do not want respond to music controls. I appreciate if you can answer :)
