I actually bought this fan set 4-5 years ago, the price is about the same and the fans have been working really well this whole time. I've moved them into 3 different cases and I've still not had any issues. I do recommend them if you just need fans to move air.

My experience with them is the complete opposite, unfortunately. I bought a pack back in March last year to use as case fans in one of my home servers and they're rubbish. Four of them are clipping really bad at anything above ~550 rpm. I don't know when it started but I noticed it in late December when I was doing some maintenance/cleaning on several of my computers. I don't care about them failing, like Jay said they're almost disposable. But their performance is worse than having some tiny pet mouses coughing at your heatsinks.

They are not the OG Antec that we all knew and loved. They failed to keep up with the market and went downhill after being purchased by some Taiwanese company in the 2010s. It was disappointing as I had both LANBoy I and II cases, multiple TruePower Trio and Earth Watt PSUs for my old AMD Athlon XP builds that I still use to this day. I love how so many people just mention the Arctic P12 or P14. Those are really good fans. Especially when considering the price. When the Fractal Design R6 came out I bought it and was really disappointed in the fans it came with. They pushed no air and when maxed out at 1000rpm where really loud and annoying. Then I wanted to replace them with some Noctua's but then I saw the price for the Noctua ones and researched a bit more thus I found the Arctic ones. I love the P14's I bought. The noise dropped, they moved more air even at really low rpm so much so that the temperatures for the GPU, CPU and VRM of the motherboard dropped by 10C compared to the Fractal ones at max rpm. Yes the Arctic ones running at lower rpm beat the Fractal ones at max rpm, and by a lot.

I will stick with Arctic P12s for a long time tbh. They are bit more expensive (Tip: Arctic constantly makes discounts in eBay through its own shop If you buy at least 4 of them without the packaging and screws). Independent testing showed that P12s are pretty much as good as Noctua NF A12s, while being just a bit louder at high RPMs and having a slight noise from the rotor. On the plus side, they sell them in black and white, each one with either solid or color matched trasparent blades. Also: Gigabyte motherboards are known to be tricky sometimes with DC fans, most of the time the motherboard isn't able to regulate voltage, so they stay either completely off or at 12V.

These ones though use a 4-pin PWM connector, and each fan has a secondary male 3-pin plug, letting you chain them together and plug multiple fans into a single header on the mobo. They also reach almost 2500 RPM according to Fan Control, which is pretty decent. Perfectly sufficient for my build, although they do get noticeably loud at around 50-60%, and above 80% are just downright noisy. But for that price, I'm very happy. on a similar note, i recently built my dad a workstation desktop PC on a budget. I used the Zalman T6 case (great budget case, by the way) but it only had one 120mm fan installed with the case. I bought fans from an Amazon brand called "uphere", and i got a 3-pack of their 120mm fans for only 10.99! They're only 3-pin fans like these, come in both black AND white models, and get up to 2200 rpm at only 19dbA, with a claimed 38CFM, which is very impressive for how cheap they were. And truth be told, once I installed them in the system and set up fan curves for them, had you not known better, you wouldn't ever know the fans were under $4 a piece.

I used aerocool shark 120 and 140mm fans for my last build paired with a couple of pci rheobuses. Lots of cfm even turned way down making no noise.

Never thought I'd get to a day when hearing Antec and cheap being used at the same time. The 20 buck single color 80mm fans of the early 00's say hello.

I remember reviewing a Rosewill RFX-80 fan, they were $4.99 and had dual ball bearings, I had some last over 10 years. They also had the RFX-120 which was $7.99 at the time. It seems they mostly stopped selling them, but I was one of the first to review them and only 10+years later did any of them fail, was a pretty good deal I think.

I had some Cougar brand Hydro Dynamic Bearing fans in my last PC that ran for 5 years, no issue. They still work fine. Fluid bearings aren't bad. They just need to be quality made fans.

I just bought a 5 pack of the antec rgb fusions for my new build last week paid about $60 for them & tbh they work great they are rated for 2000RPM & 57CFM & so far they work great they can be a little loud at max rpm but I put them on a solid curve to keep good air moving but also be more quieter I highly recommend these fans

I run my Radiator fans @5v off of the red wire on one of the molex connectors. My fans are in a push/pull configuration. It's dead silent and my high static pressure fans have no problem keeping my AIO cooler running nice and cool. Might have to pick up a pack or 2 of those Antec fans. My fans are just starting to get a bit loud but they are almost 10 years old. lol

I bought a 5 pack of antec white RGB fans a while ago. I really like them. Quiet, they move a good amount of air, and didn't break the bank. Only problem I have is that I only have enough room for 4 fans in my case

I bought a set of 5 for my daughters PC that I built for her a while back. I got a set of 5 Prism series 120mm fans. These have been great for her computer. Spent about $60 because of the rainbow vomit, so it broke down to about $12 per fan. A little more than the fans you are talking about in this video. But I actually have a similar set on order for my current build to move more air in it as I am running an air cooled 5900x

Not only are those fans still available but they also are in black now. As well as a little more you can get them with a colored led. As for the voltage they probably can do upto 24v since most stuff like that is actually designed as far as I know to run from around 9v to 24v sometimes up to the low 30s. Its the cheapos that cant or the modern overpriced stuff (surprise, overengineer something it becomes less flexible!) XD. Oh and a note on measuring the cfm, dont worry about trying to be super accurate. One fan to another can vary so wildly that being precise doesnt matter and ballparking it for us is probably more accurate. Only time it needs to be precise is if you are testing the manufactures' claims (which is really more a gamers nexus thing), I think for what you are doing/trying to show, this setup is perfect. (Also please keep making content like this!)

I bought the p12 pwm model back at 2019 . They are pressure optimized which means better for water cool and higher CFM 56.3 rated with 200-1800 rpm. Also they are better quality and they are same price. I have 9 fans paid about 50 euros and they are better than most expensive fans
