I use wheat straw plates. Completely unbreakable, dishwasher and microwave safe. Perfect plates for rv'ers!

Air fryer roasted veggies are great too. Spray oil and some spices add flavor and crunch. Those Turkish towels sound good too.

We've had an air fryer for about a year, but we were only using it to reheat fries and cook some frozen foods (taquitos, corn dogs, etc.) A friend raved about cooking a steak in his air fryer, but we were more than a bit skeptical. However, we finally tried it and 🤯🤯🤯. Tender, juicy and cooked medium...really good. Our friend cooked one steak each on a BBQ, in the air fryer, and in a cast iron skillet and ranked the results in that order. On the BBQ still the best, but in the air fryer is more consistent and better than a skillet or a broiler...who knew??

Nice! We've done pork tenderloin, wings, sausage, bacon, cookies, biscuits, cheese bread, and a few other non-breaded-frozen things and everything has come out great so far.

Honorable mention...a couple of years ago you reccomended the "Zero-G" flexible garden hose. I decided to give it a try after wrestling with stiff garden hoses that kink and will not coil. I love it and purchased for my boat. Driveway and patio. Thank You!

Great tip video, thanks for sharing. I like the Amazon picture idea. I'm wondering if we can give one of those to our grandkids so they can see OUR photos at their home, virtually real time photos from the road as we travel. I'm thinking yes.

They're not the best on the market but the prices are seriously hard to beat. I've looked at a bunch of other brands but always come back to Wyze because no one else has cameras, sensors, lights, alarms, and more all in the same environment.

That's pretty cool! We love that our microwave is also a convection oven, but it can get a little tricky when you're using it as an oven and need to microwave another part of a meal. Adding the air fryer to our kitchen has helped with that a lot but we still get all crossed up sometimes waiting for one device to finish 🙂

I was, told by REV that there is an upgrade to the firefly system, and with it you can connect to the firefly directly using WiFi instead of just Bluetooth. I do not know the cost of this upgrade, but I just thought I'd make you aware of that option.

Yep, there's an upgraded module that'll connect to your wifi. There's just one catch - it's 900 bucks and you have to subscribe to some sort of service to access it remotely that's another 80-100 per year. My old phone was paid off years ago and works just fine!

The fire stick peaked my interest. Having a rough time using winegard and all the other options on my smart TV. Would it be possible for you to do a video on setting it and the operation of it?

Honestly just order one and try it out. They're not expensive at all and very intuitive. It plugs into an HDMI port on your TV and gets power via USB. You just tell it what services you use, log into those, and it just works. I'm confident you could get it working in a very short amount of time!

My old phone is just on my wifi network. One nice thing about this RV is that even if we lose shore power all of my outlets are on the inverter so no part of my network goes down. I can remote into that phone, fire up the Firefly app, and get the generator running no matter where I am. The only flaw right now it's that I don't have any way to proactively be alerted when I lose shore power, but if the AC goes off and the temps start going up the Wyze sensors will alert me. I'd like a shore power notification and know how to do it with RV Whisper, but I'd prefer an option that's not yet another app/service.

Awesome guys!! One question though, how do you have your wyze pan cam mounted and what did you use to do it?

The bottom of the Cam Pan has a threaded hole and it comes with a set screw that goes into it. You're suppose to use the little arm mount that comes with the camera and attach that to a wall and then put the screw through that and into the camera. My cabinet that it's attached to only has 1/4" luan (or whatever) on the bottom so I just drilled a hole for the screw and mounted it directly to the wood, then another one a short distance away for the power cord. It worked perfectly!

So the problem we seem to be having is the availability of Wi-Fi for the wyze cam. It won’t work in 5g (which we won’t have soon anyway) and it doesn’t seem to want to connect to the phone hotspot either. Sooo, any suggestions for a good Wi-Fi set up while on the go?

Great video! I have a couple questions about the Teamviewer connection to your Android device. Do you have to establish the connection before you leave your rig (i.e. allow remote access on the device that is left in the rig)? Does the connection stay open the entire time you're away?

I have TeamViewer Host running on the phone in my network cabinet. It's always ready for a remote connection so I never have to think about whether it's up or not or do anything special when we head out. Super simple!

Our primary connection is Starlink. Our backup is a grandfathered unlimited AT&T plan that isn't for sale anymore (we've had it for 6 years). We used to recommend Travel Data but they changed all their pricing and structure earlier this year and we haven't had a chance to test it out yet so we don't recommend them or anyone else at the moment.

Hey Brian, I'm just curious about how much you pay for all your TV streaming. I have Dish Network and am getting tired of them. I pay $92 a month for a whole bunch of channels I don't even watch thank you and safe travels

Let's see... Netflix is 16/mo, Disney+ and Hulu are bundled together for 14/mo I think, HBO Max is free because we're AT&T customers, Prime Video is part of Amazon Prime, so that's 90/yr or about 8 bucks a month. RU-vid premium is 11/mo. Altogether I think I'm around 50/mo for streaming services? It is getting kinda silly that we're going right back to the cable model, but at least with these you can turn them on and off whenever you want so you can really control what you're paying based on what you want to watch.
