I never thought I could feel such despair for someone I never knew until Chester died. I burst into tears when I found out, was honestly a bit dazed for a few days, and it took me about a year before I could listen to LP music again without crying. He was such a huge part of my life growing up, and even as an adult, that I felt the loss like a Chester-shaped hole filled with nothing but void. May he rest now in the peace he could never quite find in life. In other news, bots are responding to each other now? Anyone who makes these bots deserves to burn in a special circle of hell.
Linkin Park was a huge part of my life in my younger years and helped me through dark times i was devastated when i found out about Chester and couldn't stop cryin during his tribute concert
We never will. chester was an inspiration to us all. I'll also miss the duality of him and mike. those 2 paired better that chocolate and peanut butter.
Not sure if you know but sadly the lead singer Chester Bennington killed himself in 2017.. he was suffering from depression his whole life.. RIP dear Chester 💔
Linkin Park has been my favorite band since they first came out. Ripped my heart out when Chester passed. He is the lead singer. I'm still not really over it. Mike Shinoda is the rapper. He plays a ton instruments and with Chester, wrote all of their music. They all so talented. Chester was a legend. They are even better if you watch them live. Faint-Rock am Ring live 2007 Crawling Numb Papercut New Divide Breaking the Habit From the Inside Waiting for the End So many more. To me, they don't have any bad songs. RIP Chester. Miss you.
The lead singer is Chester Benington. You can always tell because he does the screams while Mike Shinoda does the rapping. Linkin Park is my all time favorite band. R.I.P Chester. If you want more Linkin Park and want a true taste of Chesters scream capabilities react to Given Up.
One more light by Linkin Park is another one to look into. So bitter sweet and prophetic. Lifelong Linkin Park fan. I miss Chester and his talent everyday
Many people say Chester could sing like an angel and scream like a demon and I always used to wonder how he always sounded so deeply emotional, even tortured in his delivery. Sadly we now know why. Undeniably the best singer of his genre, arguably the best singer his genre has ever seen, successful in his trade beyond his wildest dreams with adoring fans around the globe, loving & loved husband and father, champion of charity work and helping others. We can only hope and prey that he has found the peace that seemed to elude him in life. RIP Chester
Brooks and Dunn, Believe...it's considered country but every genre, evert heart feels this song! You two are a dynamic duo, you seem to not only love eachother but like eachother and that's the stuff of legends these days. Bless y'all!
Chester is sorely missed. The band put a video together after Chesters passing. The song is called "One More Light" Chester sings it and its a memorial video. Its a tear jerker. They have so many great songs.
RIP Chester!!! Thank you for everything you did for me, even without knowing I existed!!! I miss you everyday!!!! Great reaction, greetings from Guatemala 🇬🇹🍻
I watched Mike (the rapper) perform this alone after Chester passed away. He performed a toned down version just with the piano and it broke my heart. The entire audience was singing & crying. A really powerful moment. Chesters Legacy will never be forgotten.
It was bad enough when Chris Cornell died, then Chester died on Chris Cornell's birthday, and they were close so it seemed so crazy.Chester was the one singing in the gold and he is sorely missed.Just started watching your channel and before I knew you were from Maryland I saw him wearing an Orioles hat, lol. But I wasn't sure until I saw you both wearing Ravens Jersey's then I was almost positive.Ive lived in Maryland most of my life.Only thing that seems funny is when you keep saying the S and M thing.I know it's the first letter of your names, anyway love the channel and this was definitely a great choice,my favorite from them.🤘
I saw them in concert about 5 years ago. One of the best. There was such a feeling of love between the band itself and the audience. They were even singing from in the crowd at one point. Just amazing.
Yes *Chester Bennington* is the lead singer he suffered from massive depression try to deal with it through drugs but he lost a battle with depression in *2017😭*
There are so many songs of theirs worth reacting to. Linkin Park went on an entire journey through their music and its worth it. Some of the lesser known ones in my opinion are "Iridescent", "Wretches and Kings", and "Waiting for the End."
Yes, Chester was the singer. He was 41 at the time of his passing in 2017, left behind a wife and 6 children. He has suffered from depression ever since he was a child, and sadly it got the best of him. He was an amazing singer (this is nothing compared to some other things he did. Check out Given Up if you want to hear his demonic scream, their cover of Rolling In The Deep if you want some soft, amazing tunes), one of the best in the history of rock! And while I didn't know him personally, from videos I've seen of him and stories his friends, family and people he has worked with it sounds like he was an amazing guy as well... what a loss. May he rest in peace.
I never really get upset over celebrity deaths; anyone passing away is sad, but I rarely get emotional over the death of someone I never really knew. Chester's death truly hurt. I remember seeing the news as it broke and feeling utter disbelief and heartbreak. He was the voice of a generation, such a unique voice and I know his words (whether he wrote them or not) helped an awful lot of people through tough times... I think part of what made his death so devastating was the fact it was self inflicted; he helped so many people but he couldn't help himself. Linkin Park really did have a way of connecting to just about anybody, and Chester embodied that. He was and always will be dearly missed by millions :(
I’ve always been a huge LP fan!! Super talented group! Chester is the screamer lol RIP 🪦 so sad what his troubled heart and head went through here on earth 🌍 Love him! So much talent
Chester will always be missed. He and this song will live on like a legacy. He will always be one of my fave vocalists if not my fave vocalist. Also please react to some of their live performances like Texas live or rock am ring live 2003 and 2004. They sounded so incredible
Chester is the blonde haired dude with the amazing recognizable voice, he had to fall to lose it all.... he hung himself but in the end nothing mattered. This song is super sad to LP fans....... rip Chester we wanted soo much more
New subscriber here, and yes Linkin Park is a legendary group/ band with a mixture of vocalists of a singer and a rapper. Chester Bennington is the lead vocalist (singer) and Mike Shinoda is the rapper. Great reaction!
So many people lost because they couldn't access help, support. It's a shame. I've been going through depression for decades. To be shunned by family, made to feel less than . . . it's a horrible, lonely way to exist.
@@melissatopham4018 Id rather have a blindfold to close my eyes to peoples bullshit than to be braindead enough to believe crackpot theories like this.
Great reaction Shawn and Mel! Mel, you've got a great voice! Do you sing in a band? Linkin Park was in a genre called Nu Metal. Their aim was to combine Hip-Hop/Rap with hard rock/Metal. As a matter of fact, I believe that Mike Shinoda, the rapper, has his own Hip Hop group apart from Linkin Park. In my opinion, this song may be one of the finest written and performed! Check out their song "Somewhere I Belong," it is fabulous! Have a great night! Dan (Your boy in Tucson)
What I loved about this reaction is that I could see when you gradually started to really like it. One of my fav songs from 2000, and we all miss Chesters brill voice. Hugs from Sweden.
Hey guys this Rontae again but all of Linkin Park songs are so meaningful especially in my life as well as a lot of others especially during my time as a teen all the the way up until now as a man that's why I respect that band so much and yes Chester has the blonde hair
you may have heard "Numb" before. other great singles of theirs include "From the inside", "Leave out all the rest" and "One more light". would love to see your reactions to those.
So glad yall came back to LP. Linkin Park songs emotionally speak what Chester was going through, which in the end, defeated him. The power of his voice and lyrics come from a deep place in Chester. Its so sad that so much pain was the reason for such beautiful art. On a lighter note, Mike Shinoda, the other vocalist has a few of his own projects including an awsome rap project Fort Minor worth checking out.
Chester(blonde hair) and Mike(dark hair) were something special there music was and still is so relevant today....Waiting for the end,Bleed it out,Given up 3 songs 3 completely different sounds LP was so talented keep up the awesome reactions!!!
oh im late! lol another LP reaction i love it!! keep them coming! i love watching true hip hop and rapper heads watching rock/metal bands and breaking that barrier between genres!
It is so great to see you getting more and more popular. A great couple great songs you should try beside Mary J Blige/U2's one is Finger Elevens songs One Thing and Paralyzer both great songs. Keep up the great work.
Linkin Park mixed rock and rap so smoothly and connected with millions of fan’s all over the world! RIP Chester Bennington, he was a beautiful soul, I read a comment once that someone posted and it rings so true about Chester, One man saved millions but millions couldn’t save one man! His voice and his authentic soul touched us all! Yes, Chester is the one singing! I recommend the official video for there song Crawling, it’s a banger and the first song I heard by them and stop where I was and was like who is this, the original is hard going and powerful! Than react to a video Linkin Park live(One More Light) Crawling it’s a live version of that song with Chester singing in the crowd close to his fan’s, slowed down and Mike on just the piano with thousands of fans completely connected with Chester and Chester with the fan’s, you hear the emotion is raw in his voice it will make you have goosebumps, it makes me emotional every time! You’ll thank me later! I highly, highly recommended watching the original video first than the slow raw emotion footage from the concert, just so good!
This is one of those songs that gives me goose bumps and makes my heart break every single time I listen to it. Unless I am playing it on beat saber lol Brilliant song.
❤🎤Great one Family, best to you both. Chester Bennington is the singer & was an incredible Lyricist. They even did a song with their idol...RAKIM. R.I.P. Chester...❤🙏🏾🌺
New subscriber here guys. Really diggin your reactions. By the way Chester is the singer with blonde hair and piercings. Can't wait to see more reactions from you guys... ✌
There's other groups that can do Rap/Metal and then there's LP. We will never see this again. I miss chester. That album Hybrid Theory got me through a lot as a kid
