Developers know the tracks will get shut down...then they can snatch up that land for the cheap to develop on.

Here in SoCal we have a dirt track and dirt bike track they built houses next to it then got it shut down. Started with cutting the hours and days then just got it shut down shit sucks.

Considering how they know this is going to cause problems I bet it opens up some lawsuit potential. Conspiring to try to harm his business even after being aware of obvious problems. They know people will complain about noise and they want people to so they can force the track to close and buy all the land for cheap. They know a wall and a burm isn't good enough to block the sound. Seems like dishonest business practices to me. Racetrack was there first. People shouldn't be allowed to build a house right next door and then complain until the business is forced to close. They're going to cause nothing but both angry racetrack and home owners because of low IQ development management skills

Unfortunately, money will influence this more than anything. Hopefully they can see the influence Ole Cleet has had on an extremely wide range of people. He is right though as this is exactly how Racetracks die. Hopefully not this one though.

The developer wants to build houses next to the racetrack. Not like anyone from the development company will live in those houses. They will sell the houses in the hopes that the buyers don't realize there is a racetrack not far away. Then the issues arise for the homeowners , the county, and Cleet, while the developers count their money. It has happened in many other places before. It hurts the tracks, the homeowners, and the people who want to race/see races legally and safely. Not to mention the police force, other locals not interested in racing, etc will have to deal with a large portion of people opting to race on public streets since they don't have a track anymore.

That's what happen to Mesa Marin raceway in Bakersfield....the streets the houses were on all had racing names. What the hell were they thinking.

They put houses in where the drag strip and oval dirt tracks were in Oahu, Hawaii! The big island has a track!

Happened in my town. It's intentional. The developers know they can build and then add value to their new property when the track dies as a result of their actions. Then they can swoop in and buy the parcel the track was on, too - usually for pretty cheap. The days are numbered for people like us. The future is for controllable human drones.

Happened in NJ too.. Insurance auto auction came in and bought it and turned it into a salvage yard.

They should've sued. Forced to go out of business sounds criminal to me.

Yeah, unfortunately as much as I want to be optimistic, this decision is already made and it doesn't matter if Ghandi and Jesus show up riding on Falkor, they aren't gonna change their mind. But check BoostedBoyz channel, that already put the motor on E85 and more boost and upped the top speed to 60 mph+ 😂 Next step is bigger impeller and nozzle which they already have but first decided to run the small stuff to break the engine/boat combo in

If I was cleet and they build the houses and people start complaining about noise I would both sue them, the developers, and the government for conspiring to eliminate his business. Liquidate them, buy all their land and kick them out

I would sue immediately if they approve to build these homes. They're killing his business when they're aware they are building homes where people will complain. Thus causing both track owner and home owners to be unhappy. They're setting everyone up for failure and their goal is to move people in so they complain about the sound so cleet goes out of business and they can stop the freedom, buy the land for cheap and pretend the freedom factory never existed because murderers pretend they didn't kill anyone. So just like murderers, this developer and government will kill cleetus business through low IQ land development strategy. They'd be better off building warehousing or leaving it as farmable land. Not building properties where people have to sleep. They can see these problems and they're aware they exist and they want a wall or a berm as if that's going to make a difference. So if they go through with it and it hinders cleetus business if i was cleet I would sue the people making noise complaints, the developers, and then government for conspiring to drive his business to failure even when they're well aware what they're doing is going to cause problems. Where I live they don't put the business zoning right next to the residential zoning for a clear obvious reason. Businesses are often loud. That's why you're supposed to have separation between businesses and neighborhoods. It's the sole point of zoning it seems like these people next to the freedom factory aren't understanding. Residential zoning shouldn't be right next to loud businesses that existed already. there's better places to build homes where it won't negatively affect everyone involved except the people getting paid to build who face none of the consequences for building houses right next to race tracks. You don't put open gun ranges right on the border of quiet neighborhoods. That's bad zoning. if the gun range was there first they have the advantage. If the neighborhood existed first, the gun range has to find a better spot to build. Should be that simple. A gun range is just like a racetrack. Very loud, shouldn't be allowed to build homes too close because it destroys the business and lowers the quality of life in the homes also, and visa versa. If hikes existed already you shouldn't be allowed to build an open gun range so close they complain. So it's a lose lose for everyone except the developers who just make their money and leave without caring about of the problems they created. seems to be what's happening to me.
