I’ve the the second generation for a year now . When I bought it , I believed that because it was a headphone for use in gym , it wouldn’t have so much sound quality , but lucky I was wrong , the sound quality is great.
I've had mine for about 6 months now, and I absolutely love them. Although the noise cancelation isn't like Sony's it's still amazing. They're stable on the head, the sweat resistant is second to none. The battery life is great, and the ambient aware is great as well. The volume can be adjust on the jbl app, fot the EQ that you want. Great for the gym and daily use.
@@jonathonmoores9137 you can take the ear muffs off their slot, and give them a little wash but the ear cups dry up so quick, especially if you wipe them with some towel, so I don't really need to wash them
Thanks for the honest review! I am definitely going to get these for the gym as earbuds always leave me ears feeling achy which is a shame. You got a new sub
I recently bought these gently used. I have owned the gen 1 for like almost a year. Also I wear glasses. Gen 1, the on ear, are lighter in weight, yet (when wearing glasses) they press your ears to your glasses and hurts after like half hour. These new ones do not. They are way more comfortable. However I did quite the compare, the 1st gen headphones sound better at the same volume compared to these ones! Also, the "talk thru technology" for these over ear you have to make sure you're in ambient aware mode, then you can double tap for it...frustrating at times.. also it doesn't amplify the sounds around you...just lowers music and turns on a weak mic..I'm better off taking the headphones off! The 1st gen. The talk thru is fantastic! One push, BAM! I can hear you..then another one push back to music! I do enjoy that these new ones are easier to remove the ear cups to clean. The JBL App is okay. The "vocal" EQ I find is the best overall. The project rock eq is terrible. So at the end of the day..if I wanna blast loud music in the gym and move around..I def recommend the first gen! These ones I would use if your gym is super noisy and you don't want to be bothered (the noise canceling is nice 👌) anyways..thats my two cents 🎧 😎
I bought mine for $149, after they were discontinued. You're right the lower end JBL headphones are cheaply made, but when you get up in the $150 to $250 range there Is a big jump in quality, I find.
Im goin to buy at Best Buy for $99. I dont use it for gym. I just use it for listening the music and video, Ill purchase it coz the great discount and good sound and quality? Is it the best $99 headphone compare with other $99 headphone? Thanks

Well I have the Sony's and I can't take them to the gym, it doesn't hold on my head when I run and I do not want to destroy them with my sweat! I'm going to order these. I can't find another headphones that compares.
@@mr_red13 yeah they're literally only good if your looking for some pre game hype, not lifting or running or relaxing. Get white and gold because black looks so dull if your thinking about getting them though
