In addition to one bad tenant possibly doing over ten grand worth of damage. Airbnb’s are getting restricted and banned outright in different cities and getting hotel type room taxes imposed. Also, way too many people don’t change their house’s air filters regularly. So their HVAC systems perform worse, use more electricity, and don’t last as long. Touching up a house with 5-10 dollar tube of caulk annually is a bargain compared to rotted wood/water damage repairs

HOA or anything with a communial roof you arnt responsible for yourself is a BAD place to LIVE.

Becoming a homeowner in DeSantisland can be spicy. Probably the biggest danger when becoming a homeowner are the people who max out on the purchase: buying a house at the top of your home loan approval is the original sin that can easily snowball into a future of foreclosure. Too many people think that just becoming a homeowner, at any cost, is their goal.
