"ping where basement is, and your teammates wont go there to kite" me pinging basement 3 times and still having people go down there.... you are underestimating them griffin randoms, mr phoenix. they will do everything in their might to make the game as mindbreakingly hard as possible.

3:06 I see what you're talking about, but I want to mention a strategy that's also been used in tournaments before, called "if the chaired survivor gets hit before you, run to the back of the basement while letting the other survivor go" this leaves the hunter with two options: take the time to hit you and then go follow the other survivor OR ignore you so you can successfully avoid a double down. The logic behind this strategy is that if the hunter indulges in hitting you and isn't quite fast at catching up, they might end up losing the target because they didn't follow them for a good portion of time that they wasted inside the basement with you. of course there are some variables depending on which character you're using and what hunter you're facing, for example it works best with mercenary who can use his elbow pads to get away from basement faster should he get hit. Just remember you should NOT try this against a dream witch, in fact most of the time u shouldn't even try rescuing basement against her because of her followers being able to camp both the stairs and the chair easily. And by the way I still have the replay of a round where I actually used this strategy as a tide psychologist, I couldn't get outside of basement in time but the hunter wasted time searching my teammate long enough only to come back when i finished healing myself and becoming full health again. I figured even if he did go chair me in basement, anyone else with or without tide would've worked with the rescue just fine. I can show / upload the video if you're interested btw :)

Also without realizing it by staying even with tide you are telling the hunter “I’m scared of you” and for some hunters telling them that can make them take better plays knowing what you can do ie if they know you won’t run out they will jut wait out tide and down both

I like to have one teammate decoding while at least one of us manipulates the hunter into believing that the cipher were harrassing is thr one were actually focused on, but we're just making time for the other one XD Works almost all the time, I love it lol

Im not sure if you've made a point about this mistake but another thing I've noticed survivor like to do is to give hunter the easy hit to farm presence while they're in tide turner, we know feeding the hunter till full presence is dangerous (which is why selling the survivor can be a good option against a strong type like it) and i can't thank my teammates enough for doing so when they could've just run away from the hunt.

Would it be possible to get a how to play every hunter or smth like that series? Kind of like the one you have for survivors.

Always try to leave 2 ciphers far away from each other. If the hunter guards one I always leave that area.

Iirc Patroller will also trigger a heartbeat. I would also say to mess with hunter "items", Dismantle tentacles, consoles, etc, Too many people leave tentacles up which isn't good if someone has gaze on them or just cause tentacles will give Feaster tentacle charges faster.

I had a match the other day where I was decoding and the seer brought the hunter to me and I was like great 😃👍 They switched to me and downed me so I got rescued as the seer was on chair and this composer not only stopped decoding and stayed on second story instead of going for the rescue so seer died and the hunter cam back for me and took me out and after that composer got absolutely folded and we loss Just for composer to complain about me not decoding like when was I supposed to do that 🤯

Yes I came along those time saviors and won some and I've been also guilty of come sometimes going to other saviors awhile thier decoding 😅

I can already say how this is going to be.If so this is relatable that i sometimes become so mad but apart from that i dont understand why they try to help someone and go straight to a hunter which is such a mess! And there are so many ciphers and ur tip is useful ig

What if your a foward that’s want to not get downed so you bring broken windows, and fly wheel effect. Is that a good strategy?

I really am sorry, but if I run to you while I’m kiting (very rarely) it’s not because I’m not paying attention, it’s just cause I don’t wanna kite xd. I don’t do it anymore, but when I started playing the game I’d run to other survivors decoding. I’d literally out loud say, “Ooh. Bait.”

Nah! TBH... Other survivor do that and isn't a mistake, because when the hunter chasing them.. The survivor who chase by the hunter and they bring it to other survivor who busy deciphering the machine, then hunter suddenly change easily their target. They do that for their own safety and Escape alone. I always experience that everyday and that's not a mistake, they do it in purpose.
