i dont know how half of these parents couldnt hear their kid fall or move a vent with them being 20 ft away.

No damn it! They should be watched at all times! Even when they’re sleeping! Duct tape them to your body and watch them at all times! And don’t sleep EVER!!!!!

i didnt realize until i started babysitting just how fast they run off. like seriously you stop looking at a 2 year old for 15 seconds and suddenly they're trying to electrocute themselves in the wall socket or trying to drink windex or something, i cant imagine being a parent and being that anxious 24/7

You can warn your children a lot of times, but this won't stop a child's curiosity to discover new things. It's in their nature. Teaching them theoretically is necessary but insufficient and taking practical measures is a must.

There were fridge and freezers that locks itself in the old days. Many kids died in them since they cannot be opened from inside. Think Billy in the fridge in Fallout 4. Latch was removed and replaced to magnetic strips that close the door and stays shut. Look at Indiana Jones getting into the fridge, it has a latch on it.

Does anyone REALLY believe a BABY took the vent cover off, slid in the HOLE IN THE FLOOR feet-first, and then REINSTALLED THE VENT COVER?? I fear for that baby. Really. How old is this video? Honestly, start the baby proofing as soon as you buy a house. Even dogs do the darnedest things my friend's golder retriever just out of the blue started licking the grate and for her tongue stuck on it. No idea how she did that but I saw the aftermath. All her vet said is "it's Monday". They see it all the time

@@Pizzicato-hg3oc You can take your eyes off your kids briefly, but most of these types of things happened because they were left alone long enough for it to get bad. What if that kids head did go through the railing and he just plummeted to the ground? Have you seen the videos where moms discover their kids have covered themselves in peanut butter or vaseline or emptied the entire pantry cupboard, that took time, time where something bad could have happened instead.
