Blade baits are awesome--caught my first 10lb bass this past winter on one... I think of them as the silent lipless crank-bait giving the fish something they haven't become accustomed to. I used the BPS version after changing out the nickel hooks to higher quality ones--they now come with better stock hooks.
Saw you uploaded and had to click! I would love to see fly fishing content again. Something like a bass fly fishing video or anything you would like to do! Tight lines and God bless!
Blue Fox, Mepps, Rooster Tails and Hester spinners all have silver plated blades which give off a more whitish flash than a chrome plated spinner. It is closer to the flash of a minnow or baitfish than the one that isn't silver plated.
Yeah im a fan of blade baits..only thing is i don't think the manufacturer ever us them because the back hook is to big and usually gets hooked on the line or the bait itself..
Brendan , I like your videos but I would suggest expanding your vocabulary when describing tackle. If I had 50 cents for every time you said something was “absolutely fantastic” I would have about $140 dollars.
