THESE MISTAKES ARE RUINING YOUR WEAPON XP GAINS! | The First Descendant Weapon XP Guide

Moxsy messing up the testing with the Thunder Cage is hilarious 😂

The best way is to do anything that brings you gold and kuiper at the same time, even if it’s twice longer. Going after fast exp alone is not smart nor productive.

If you want weapon xp or descendant xp look to your power modules and the other 4 modules. If you find any with the firearm/descendant xp gains equip as many have access to. You also get keiper shard drop rate and module drop rate, so the enemies drop more kieper and modules. These extra modules can be be dismantled for even more keiper to upgrade the modules you want so when you find new gear for you descendant just check what traits they have before dismantling em. Instead of farming missions to get kieper or char xp or weapon proficiency you could be farming legendary materials instead with more char xp gain, more mod drop chance, more weapon profiency and more kieper drop chance. You can even get some of those gear pieces with 2 of the 4 traits i mentioned so stacking em up makes the grind even easier and a lot less time consuming as you can have all 4 much needed resources and ex gains without neccesesarily having to target missions that only reward in large amounts 1 or 2 of these.

1. Get a Valby 2. Equip 3 weapons 3. Run in cricles for 30 minutes Voila 3 max ranks

Does not matter what slot they are in, just which is active.

One reason to have same three weapon is that, when you swap, you’re still using the same gun. Since you’re doing mindless grinding, you cant get it wrong.

Great video. Thanks for testing it out. And obviously you can always equip gear with Weapon Proficiency trait to speed it up when you are farming.

One thing i like to do is when i get a daily mission for something like Special round kills or Impact round kills i will equip a weapon that i have not touched yet to get a few levels on it while i complete that mission

one thing I want to know is: at what range does the xp shared from an ally killing an enemy stop

Whoever said “equip 3 of the same weapon” to level them up is not paying attention in the game…Of course 3 of the same weapons appear like they level up faster because 3 of the same weapons level up at the same time, weapons of the same kind (for example a Tamer mg) ALL LEVEL UP AT THE SAME TIME!!! To be clear, if you get a Tamer and you level up that exact Tamer to level 40…EVERY additional Tamer that drops for you in game will already be level 40. To be extra clear, we are talking “proficiency lvl’s NOT weapon levels that you increase by transmission at a work bench.

Can you test this for gold and kuiper drops. Like the misinformation about weapon leveling people also say getting tags* on enemies or killing them yourself effects gold and kuiper and item drops vs not being apart of the kill and getting less

Thank you. I was playing this like Warframe. Luckily, I just started playing a few days ago, so I havent lost that much mastery, but still a pretty significant amount.

There is probably also a question about the distance you have to be to receive xp from teamates, so far as I've seen ypu have to be only a few meters away otherwise you dont get it.

If wanting to level anything up. Defence missions

Kingston Defense mission gives boosted XP, but with like 73 guns, will get boring going over the same thing endlessly. The other spec ops missions don't give boosted XP gain.

Ty for the info man you saved me a many more a bunch of time lvling up weapons. So the equip 3 of the same weapon was just a bunch a bullcrap.

you can go from 1 to 30ish on a weapon in less then a hour doing the 21 defense waves as bunny on main weapon then 20ish on off weapons

Fastest way I have done is use bunny 🐰 utensils the leveling weapon in and do the void fracture in the cabe in Fortress use nothing but bunnies skills and it levels it faster most of the xp goes to one you have out to use

Next Q. Assuming other sources of XP (other than kills) exist, does some percentage of that XP go toward proficiency? Like.. mission completion XP?

You... didnt test the Sensor's Firearm proficiency gain to understand how it applies? Does it apply to teammate kills/skill kills/stowed weapons? Is it a flat "X% increase" or is it additive with like monster level xp increase decreasing the actual amount of xp gained from using it?

Good info. I've been curious about this since I've kept one copy of every weapon specifically to level for mastery rank. Good to know just throw some junks in there when you get the chance to level them. :)

using 4 valbys in the “new” method, i was able to lvl up my Afterglow sword to level 40 in 13 minutes from level 1. got it completely catalystd out in under 2 hours

Go Valby run, its the best XP both in weapon and character right now as well as farming gold and Kuiper's.

You did not test the Firearm profiency xp from external components....especially when you get the components if the one is blue the ultimate stat always is buffed up...

I assume just like Warframe if descendant is max and bring 1 max weapon and 1 lv 1 weapon use max weapon all the time

What happens if your main weapon is max proficiency does the other weapons still only get 20% xp?

The weekly quest of 5000 kills with "thunder cage equiped" seems like it has to be done with the weapon itself, not just with skills. The season quest of 200.000 kills has to be your kills, team kills dont work.

Do the weapon proficiency stat on external components help?

experience gained is split between anything you have equipped that can still gain exp. you gain bonus exp for killing the enemies with each weapon, so if you dont use a weapon for an entire run it will receive exp but not as much as the weapon/weapons you used to kill everything. the same applies to killing enemies with Descendant abilities, if you only use your abilities to kill your descendant will receive the bulk of the exp.

Step 1) Unlock Valby Step 2) Mod Valby Step 3) equip any weapons that need leveling in the weapon slots Step 4) Go Gold farm

what if you are far from you team? do u still get the exp? i level up my characters and guns sa,e stage in this video and i stay behind and defend when im not using bunny.

Got like 5 guns done today just spinning in circles with valby with my guns in my pocket.. 8 million gold and 1.5 million shards. Couple hours worth of time at best. Valby is dumb broken lol

Funny the video was made, had an Ajax mad that my U. Bunny was getting nearly 90% of all the kills om the Kingston Defense mission. Ended up doing the solo to 21 waves tho

Do you get more xp if you have the the same weapon stored? (ie different active weapon but with 2 holster weapons that are the same)

Your weapons level organically as you play. How in the world can you do it "wrong?" It seems like every video made about this game is telling us we're screwing something up. It's gotten very old, very fast
