This has got to be the best texture mod video for Minecraft I have seen so far. I have serious eyesight issues that prevented me from playing Minecraft since I can't really see anything without straining my eyes. Recently, I've had an intense urge to play this game so I went looking for texture mods but every video was all about adding in things that aren't in the base game and nothing about fixing the textures to be smoother and have more "pop" so I can tell the blocks apart. Your video was exactly what I needed. I really love how your game looks and I can actually see details without squinting or closing one eye. Thanks for making this video!
@@vrbass4456 if i was soft i wouldn't be confronting the bullshit. How about you stop being soft and start being a respectable human being instead of a sore loser full of hatred.
Ok, so it took a bit of work to get it functional, but providing you download everything at 1.19.2 (including fabric itself, not just fabric api), you can get it working just fine. Once Continuity is updated to 1.19.3 you should be able to run all the mods linked at the latest version. until then you will likely get crash reports starting Minecraft if you try and run a latest version release with an old version of Continuity. Hope this helps someone.
This video was perfect! I was using the SEUS renewed shaders and my fps was 50 - 60 and i switched to the complementary shaders (4.7.1) and followed almost all of your settings and my fps increased by 10 - 15. You got a sub!
This may be the closest we're getting to ray tracing on Java, the shaders look so good in this scene if you didn't tell me it was just shaders and not an official ray tracing pack I would have thought you made a pack yourself. The water refraction, the reflections from stuff like tilled soil and metal blocks, the way that light source affects its color, looks so good
That was really cool. Sometimes the changes were subtle, other times, changes, changed big time. The sun, and the water. Wow, those were cool. Awesome Vid. Thank you for sharing 🤗👍😁❤✌🤗
Thanks for this. I've been scratching my head over switching from optifine to sodium/fabric and all the tutorials I found were either super confusing, had about 1 billion additional things to download, or were condescending (or all 3). Having you provide the links and walk through the setting was incredibly helpful and made it much more approachable. Cheers.
Thanks for the video!! It looks great, but it looks like it won't work in 1.19.3 yet. Iris and Continuity still need to be updated. Mine crashes with either of these loading. I guess we just have to have some patience and let the devs do their thing. UPDATE: Actually, Iris is updated by the link in the description automatically starts the download of 1.19.2 version. You just have to ignore that download and click the download button to get the 1.19.3 version.
This is the video we have been hoping to find for such a long time! Huge Huge Thanks! This has made everything so much more clear and simplified when step by step. You ROCK!
Unable to find "Shader Packs" in the settings, tried a reinstall, is this a known issue? any fixes? Edit: got it to work, seems like this guide is slightly outdated as you need to run the Sodium installer by double clicking it on your desktop. From here, install with fabric (right option) and what ever minecraft version you want. Then, launch minecraft with the fabric intall, then navigate to video setting and the shaders tab should be there.
I accidentally provided the wrong link for Iris shaders (updated in description), so instead download this one and put in your mods folder: www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/irisshaders/download/4023645
thanks!! When I get my first gaming laptop, I’ll definitely do this :) my current regular laptop functions almost as well as an old arthritic man who eats only gravel and it would immediately explode if I even thought of doing this on it
I swear , this is heaven , this is the best shader settings i ever seen in my freaking life. Thank you so much for making this video !! I really appreciate your works bro ! You just gained a new subscriber
7:20 Bump creates the illusion of moving, but it doesnt really move... The water itself continues to be a plane with a water texture applied to it. Displacement does distort the plane, making it truly 3d, thats why the border of the water block is wavy while with bump only it isnt. Displacement is heavier to run though :)
can you make a tutorial for the Complementary Reimagined shaders? i really, *really* , want to see what you do to make those look better. It is made by the same developers as Complementary Shaders.
@@Armetar as the previous friend said, reimagined has very few things to change. but from there, until they are identical... well, I must tell you no, my friend. to mention something, the clouds, the water, the fog, the lighting details, the post-processing, even the anti-aliasing is not the same. They are two different Shaders, I like them both, and they are designed by the same creator.
Just want to let everyone know that the only way to fix the crashing is by NOT installing either of the optional mods (better leaves and continuity) I was able to enter the game without crashing. hope this helps ppl cause it worked for me. Im guessing the mods are incompatible since there an older version so to be able to have both of these mods we have to wait till the next update for those mods.
it's a great shader for me but for the low-end Pc's I recommend Sildur's Vibrant Shader is gonna make your water and blocks look perfect and extremely smooth However, Great Video and Great Shader
Thank you, I looked for quite a long time until I found this vid, in seconds I went from being totally pissed off to knowing what I was doing, you are awesome, thank you : )
Nawh tbh a sec ago I saw a vid and clicked on it and found ur shaders insane I was about to ask for it then I saw this video pop up on my RU-vid home page fr
I have a problem with these. After downloading everything i try to go back to minecraft and all it says that ''game has crashed'' and won't let me in. Error code 1. oh no
My Minecraft menu doesn't look like yours, nor do my files when I put them on the desktop! Can anyone help me out, I'm following the video but literally nothing looks the same or is working.
My Minecraft looks sick now lol. But i rlly can't decide between sildurs and this... Sildurs is looking pretty calm and vibrant but this one is so realistic
Is this purely rasterization based or do I need ray tracing capable hardware for this? Also props for the RuneScape music in the background lol, you brought back a lot of good memories with that..
