Hey guys, this is my first time creating a public modpack, so it won't be perfect! I've found that the best way of lowering the difficulty is to disable some of the Zombies from the Crafting Dead inside of the Bad Mobs config. Specifically the Tank Zombies and Fast Zombies, as these are too difficult early game imo!
it would be nice to add "Torchmaster" mod, it prevents mobs from spawning in ur base, becouse right now theres no reason in building a base cuz mobs can randomly spawn next to u. This mod can help a lot and u can use config file to addjust the range of "mega torch"
Here's an idea for a mod you can create: A Superhero Mod, which adds superheroes from various media. With this mod: 1. The world settings would add the worlds of the heroes, and you can choose which series they come from. You can also choose whether they are in pristine condition or in an apocalyptic state. 2. The heroes you will see spawn only in the world you select from the world settings. They can be interacted with, and they can actually talk to you, even though you would reply in chat. They would also have their personalities that are canon to them. If the heroes die, you would gain their abilities or equipment. The heroes would be eager or somewhat reluctant to work with you, depending on the situation. 3. Villains would spawn the same way as the heroes, although you would have to fight them. When they die, you gain their abilities or equipment, same as the heroes. 4. The mod also adds other characters who are part of the canonical universe they are a part of. They can also be eager or somewhat reluctant to work with you, depending on the situation. They drop whatever fits their characters best. 4. The dimensions that are part of their world is also present. You can explore these on your whim or invade them, if you want. Overall, I think you can handle creating this mod. It might be a ton of fun!!!! See ya!
This guy is so friendly he made a pack for us imagine not subscribing to this guy... I can't. Thanks, PwrDown for everything you did to save our time :)
The fast and tanks kill me alot at first. Take your time. Use the map to move around them not towards them. Run when possible. Make a base before nightfall (it's even worse then.). Any base will do. (Really I dug down a few blocks after getting seeds and a sapling.) The red berries from minecraft without mods are your best friend. (Carry a stack of 64 for water instead of bottles). Hope this helps
@@PwrDown awesome, and thx for responding too. I would've suggested mods like Spartan Weaponry and Flans, but I don't think they are fully updated yet. But yeah, you rock.
Crafting Dead has a lot to be improved. None of the server side features is configurable, and the worst among them is that you can't configure what to restore the thirst bar and how much it quenches, instead you can only quench your thirst with a fixed set of vanilla food items and the water bottle, thus making it a little annoying. However it deserves a wait to see how the dev would do with it. It does has the potential to be a masterpiece.
@@PwrDown i Hope the creator won’t stop.. it kinda looks like he settle in after the 300.000+ downloads on his latest version... there still many things that need to be added and fixed :0 to make the surroundings less dull and authentic. Currently he stopped with his update phase which was regularly... but maybe he’s working on a big update :0
Hey PwrDown! There is a human village building mod called Minecolonies! You're the leader, you make sure your Colony survives This along with your zombie mod-pack can add a extra dimension to the gameplay as you have to feed your people and keep them alive and sheltered during a zombie apocalypse Like the Walking Dead and such You have the option to decide when to start a Colony So the responsibility isn't forced on you when you start a world
@@PwrDown It's just a tad bit more complicated than caring for villagers But in the end it's simple Feed them, house them, protect them, and they'll have children (if you allow it) Make a farmer to plant the food Make a guard the patrol the roads Make a restaurant so you don't have to manually feed them etc Jobs are automatically assigned when you finish a building Though a builder citizen has to build it not you
Although I’m not really a fan of the modern zombie apocalypse theme, this was an EPIC video regardless. The music and transitions between mods were a nice touch, and I found something I was not expecting to find. You’re the best, PwrDown! Edit: 9:58 aside from toro health, is the health /mob indicator in the top “That One Probe”? And if so, what x y value did you set it to in the config? Thanks very much!
Ive been actively trying to do this exact thing, so thank you so much for making this videos. You also just make great content in general, amazing work!
You know what this world needs ? Addons mods for the Lost Cities. I feel like this mod (especially the OnlyCities config) can be a core mod to so many different modpacks but nobody touches it. Like, do an addon that makes villagers spawn in a custom structure or structures, a survivor camp in or on the top of a building. Or like, make compatibility mods that, instead of making nice grocery stores or drug stores spawn in the Forest, you implement them in the City. It's so frustrating to see a mod with that much potential left untouched out of its core gameplay by its creators and other creators 😭
Don't forget Mutant Beasts just for the mutant zombie. When you're living in the apocalypse, what's scarier than a hulk-sized zombie smashing into you.
I wish the zombie extreme mod had a config so you could disable the deadsans, it's so excessive and takes over a lot of the map, which i wish we could either disable, or make smaller, since I used other world generators to make the world a little different
One thing I want to try in addition to some hand-picked zombie apocalypse mods is VR as well, if possible. Playing in VR will make it that much more immersive, and sounds like a lot of fun to me
What I always wanted in a zombie apocalypse mod is zombies that get stronger and more numerous over time, like how rounds play out in call of duty zombies, except at a slower rate and on a larger scale
That's what happens with this pack! Improved Mobs will add a difficulty which slowly goes up, and Zombies get stronger over time. When the difficulty reaches 5, the Zombies will be able to break through doors.
Thank you @PwrDown ! I really enjoyed this ModPack! The only thing it left wanting for me, was more animals to be found in the biomes! I am new to modpacks, so I'm unsure what would be the best way for me to go about adding an additional mob mod? Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
