Definitely not going to be anywhere close to it in another decade or so but Pistons and Blazers will make it back to relevance before the end of the decade.
As a Bulls fan I can tell you the assumption is that in a season we'll basically be right back where we all started when GarPax got fired, a decent almost all-star in Coby, a bunch of young guys who aren't there yet, and a few guys who would be solid bench guys who are getting major minutes due to lack of options. It's like the DeMar era never really happened.
The bulls are like 1-2 rlly good picks away from being a decent threat. Coby is almost there and could be a great starting pg in the future, matas could be a problem in years to come, despite the hate that Josh Giddey gets he’s still only 21 years old, and they have some good young role players that could help them in the future.
Hes not gonna win mip bro, hes sharing shooting respinsbilitys with scottie and quickly and even if his averages remain the same, its not enough enough of an uptick compared to some of his previous seasons to be in contetnion for mip.
The Nets and Blazers are doomed this season. I totally forgot the Wizards were an NBA team after last season, but I'm sure they'll be comedically bad this season as well
I'd say the Pistons and the Spurs get better. It would be better for Cade to play more alongside Tim Hardaway Junior, Fontecchio and Tobias Harris in the interest of spacing. The Spurs on the other hand has Chris Paul and Harrison Barnes to play next to Wembanyana. They might even make the play-in.
Pistons will be the best of this group by atleast 5 wins. They're actually starting to have a roster that can be imagined winning games and their record was worse than it should've been last year
some Blazers players quit their season early, some Blazers quit in the middle of games! A cult of bully fans in Portland has sprouted. Several individuals scour basketball forums, just to personally insult fans who aren't saying "positive things" about the Blazers terrible basketball Franchise.
Hopefully the Pistons make some progress they really have some interesting and nice young talent hopefully Bickerstaff can develop them into a respectable team
I think $26M a year for Toby for ONLY two years a is a great deal for that squad. Only a two year commitment well below the max for an B tier at worst corer is a great move. Cade and Ivey can lean on him for a very reasonable price.
I liked the pistons to get good out of no where last year and we’re running that take back this year they are gunna be a cold 36-37 win team this year ceiling 44

I really doubt Detroit will be even close to being over .500 with those guys... Harris is mediocre at best and do is Beasley, my guess is 32 wins max. Brooklyn just started rebuilding so will propably take couple years for them to get good, so is Washington. Portland will keep sucking as long as they keep Ayton, dude has no passion to play hard now that he has a max contract, he just doesn't care anymore..

LaMelo is wearing ankle braces at practice. This means they will be a play-in team at minimum this year. I am not kidding. LaMelo is a top 10 point guard in the league when he's healthy. Last time he was fully healthy he was an All-Star. Brandon Miller is likely to take a step up again this year. He's looking like one of the best young wings in the league. They can absolutely make the playoffs
