They're great, great dogs I'm sure. But you can't be a stereotypical stoner since it requires a LOT of work and dedication to keep them mentally stimulated every day. Otherwise they'll go nuts. But if you're willing to put in the effort, those dogs can be incredible.
Here where I live in Ohio, the local PD released a press release saying they were going to have to put all their K9 units to sleep if Ohio legalizes pot. Like, "Don't make us kill the puppies! Please! Won't someone think of the poor puppies? Oh no, you made us do it, you puppy murderers!"
I do not like this sched 3 shite...I do want to be able to transport my weed openly, I would like to test my weed for heavy metals, any diseases, and pesticides...just so I can prove my weed be clean ..I also would like to grow outdoors and be able to issue csa's or some ability to openly sell my weed....so none of this is addressed ...imo

Im so happy it's legal here in Michigan. I just came in from my outdoor grow was thinking how lucky I am to be able to cultivate in my back yard it's a dream come true. I can remember spending sometimes days looking for some smoke and now there's ten Plus dispensary's in a ten mile radius from me. I wish they'd just legalize it fed and be done with it i mean its a plant man. It's way better than alcohol and much better for you all around.
We also legalized over here. There are no dispensaries, but homegrowing is allowed. And after all those years being able to have a bunch of plants sitting on your windowsill, even accompanied by additional lights, without having to hide anything or be scared of your neighbors, it just feels unreal. Regarding federal legalization, I don't think the "just legalize it and be done with it." Experience from California and other states shows that you have to be very careful to do it right. Some of them really messed up. Thailand "just legalized it" and it ended in a catastrophe and will actually be banned again next year. That's tragic. When legalizing you need to be sure it's done right, with guaranteed high standards of quality, a transparent industry and production chain, reasonable taxation and - very important - some mechanism that prevents huge corporations to completely take over the market. I personally would do as much of that on the federal level as possible, but then again I'm not American and I couldn't care less about states' rights. Anyway, all I'm saying is that federal legalization is a delicate process and you really can't mess it up or it will backfire brutally. If it's legalized and everything goes to hell and it's prohibited again soon after, then it's not going to come back for a LONG time, if ever.
You should read the Senate bill CAOA that legalizes cannabis at the federal level . The CAOA bill is better than schedule 3. Call your senators and encourage them to sign on to Senate bill CAOA !
@@Nitidus that is the advantage of having been a fan of this plant since 1970. We operated under a lot worse than schedule three and I'm not about to hand my tents and lights over to the government. We survived schedule 1 so should be able to navigate 3.
My buddy was a sheriff in Red Lodge Montana. He said they’re just retraining existing dogs and/or the new dogs aren’t being trained in cannabis. Cannabis is a just a very small percentage of the K9 training.
You can not retrain a drug k9. If it is trained in cannabis detection. That can't be unprogrammed. What they do is sell those k9's to small agencies in states that it is still illegal. That's one of slough of a long list why cannabis isn't federally legal. Their is so much money tied up in law enforcement for cannabis that would just be "wasted." If it was legalized.
I'm sure it's not the dog's fault you had those on your person. Dogs or not, nobody should be kicked out of school for stems and seeds, ever. Glad you got through it.

Yeah I live in a county with police that aren't with the new age. I was parked helping someone get their car running my wife on her way to work. So they come up with an excuse because I'm parked that there has been break-ins which was a lie. I guess ran my name so I had an old charge. So they tried to cop me with an eighth. I just told him it was cbd. Have fun testing and using your time and resources for something that doesn't matter.

A thousand dollar grow tent?? Do you want to fill out your entire garage with it? In a legal world you don't need a grow tent at all. You can use your garden, or balcony. Or, if like me you don't have any or this, you can still just use your windowsill. Obviously you won't harvest 500 grams from one plant like if your doing some industrial level high end grow. But why would anyone need 500 grams from one plant anyways if it's not for sale? If my yield from a couple of plants on the windowsill is 30-50 grams overall, then I'm set for like two years. And if I need more because I want to make something inefficient like rosin, then I'll just plant some more seeds. All of this works with almost no money. You need pots, generic potting soil from Walmart, and seeds. You probably won't even need fertilizer if you grow automatics, which you will do if using a windowsill. If you've got some spare money to add to it but still don't want to get a complete indoor setup, you can get a cheap growing lamp to supplement the sunlight and maybe even grow in the winter. Growing for very cheap is really not that hard, even though the industry and their social media mouthpieces want you to think otherwise. Good genetics and enough light get you 80% of the way with a very basic setup for a couple of bucks. The hundreds or thousands of dollars spent on a high end setup in the end will only get you an additional 20% further. You can't get more than 100. The only thing that does actually explode in an optimized setup is yields, but not necessarily quality.

I was raised by grandparents who raised kids through the great depression and gramps showed me how to built a chicken coop with an old door, and a pile of scrap wood. We even got some romex and strung power from the garage.
They now have graphene sensors that are almost invisible and they claim to out perform dogs by several times. These sensors could easily be installed in cell phones or other devices.

You could say, "even tho the marijuana was sealed in airtight bags. Before you sealed the bags you got terpens on packaging. Think of odor like mildew, tiny particles floating in air we breath in hence smell. Majority of air we breath is so much more than oxygen. So the dog could detect trace amount of terpens you don't realized got onto packaging from outside while packaged.

Not they’re not. It is very hard to “remove” it once it’s been programmed, but they’ve been taking it out of the training programs for quite a few years now. When I got my Malinois from a breeder who consults with all the alphabet outfits he said only border patrol was keeping it in. So mostly they’re been replaced in say Michigan where I am by now. The Homeland Security which is everywhere in MI because of the borders/water in just about all directions and then obviously Canada. So retiring them would be a good option but it isn’t “nice” for those dogs. Those dogs are bred and live to be worked. Not on a pasture early cuz they ain’t doing Cannabis anymore. And I don’t believe it’s just THC that they’re smelling. It’s all synthetics that are used. So we don’t use real Fent we use a fake scent replica. And you can teach to look for $$$. all this said it’s a great thing because there’s no more probable cause because you “smelled” us anymore. That’s for sure.

K9 thing always been a scam. I showed so many people how easy it is to get a dog to signal when there’s nothing there. They go off their handlers energy, you can literally start breathing hard and it will get the dog amped up. I did it with my dog and he’s not even trained. So imagine a trained K9
