@@HeyItsJonny Yeah I grew up playing that game, it is my favourite in the franchise. I was just pointing out that the assumption you made was just weird and out of the ordinary. Street Runners and Trackmania have nothing alike.. also Starforce DRM doesn't affect framerate, it only has problems of bricking modern Windows OS installations (Windows 8.1, 10 and 11)

@@potatoking2597 when I was a kid, I uninstalled sunrise without being savvy to starforce. It absolutely bricked my grandfather's pc and the punishment at the time was no videogames of any sort, for the entire rest of the year. The uninstall happened in February. I was a sad kid in rural Michigan with nothing to do that year... Sunrise itself wasn't too bad, but starforce drm was a nightmare to middle school me.

I sort of suspect it's probably also mining coins in the background for themselves while you play.

That's not how NFTs work lol. NFTs are contracts, they're not the product. When you buy an NFT, you are basically buying an ownership contract. You're the legittimate owner of what you bought (in the blockchain). The problem today are not NFTs (which are just purely contracts), but the speculation surrounding them and, hopefully, the speculation bubble will soon explode. Now, if you want to bear with me and not disregard NFTs only because "bla bla nfts omg such a scam", these contracts are actually something really nice, since you have right of ownership when you buy them and the creator has rights of royalties when they get bought. Meaning: if i sell an NFT of something that i created and you buy it, you'll own it, but i'll get my 20% (for example) royalties share on any transaction of my thing. So, if you buy it for 200 and re-sell it for 300, i'll take 20% of that 300. I'll still be able to have profits because the stuff i created is being bought and sold. Which, for art pieces and other creative-related stuff is fucking nice. Right now art NFTs are just like the real-world counterpart: the art market. Speculation on speculation. And also, in the art market, you don't buy the artwork (may it be a painting or a sculputre), you actually buy a contract of ownership. You have your piece at home, but that piece is worth how much is written in your contract. And when you sell it, you sell the ownership contract (since it NEEDS to be proven that the art piece is real and not fake. And you can only do that with a contract).

The game is "good enough"(sarcasm included) for an NFT game but a simple indie game can already beat it. The "bLoCkcHaIn" helps the NFT owner sell it with a stupid price to stupid people. I won't actually be surprised if most people in the reply section are NFTbros or something. Edit: They made a literal essay to win an argument

It's literally the same stuff about micro-transactions. They're forcing them on every fucking game just to make even more money out of stupid people that buys stupid worthless stuff. Where's the difference with NFTs? That NFTs are a novelty so they're more prone to be talked about in media and in the market.
