Not about “what can I get out of it” kind of mentality. God never promised this life would be easy. In fact, the reason why this world isn’t a utopia is because He allows us free will. Everyone chooses between good and evil. And that affects ALL of us. Truly believing pulled me out of life crushing depression. Up from my 1.0 gpa up to a 3.65 I don’t care what the biased and corrupt “scientists” say. God took a broken and sin ridden person and turned me into His daughter. A person who can still go on. Taking anti depressants didn’t save me. Getting counseling didn’t solve the real issue. That void won’t even go away without God. You can have the “wisdom of the world” but it’s nothing compared to Godly wisdom.
