@@cakenbolls442 I used to go to a few festivals in my teenage years, and I can't even pinpoint to what exact festival is some of my memories, the ones I do still have for that fact. And I'm only 27. Imagine remembering a festival that went on 53 years ago. A lot of the memories are probably affected by the documentation and the subsequent mystique of the festival.
I had a science teacher who was there. He seemed like a boring guy, but told us about this and he immediately became the most badass guy around. Told us about seeing Jimi Hendrix live. 🤘🏾

I was there. I was 17. In the 3 days I didn't see one moment of anger, frustration, competition or jealously. All smiles, everyone on one plane of complete peace. It was sooo easy. Oh yeah. Some great music too!

I was going to summer school in LA when Woodstock was happening, We would see the news and my relatives were disgusted at the music, hippies, nakedness and drug use. I was just so jealous that I couldn’t be there, enjoying myself and making beautiful history.
Supposedly there were from three hundred to five hundred thousand people there. If 1% of them were time travelers, that would be three to five thousand time travelers at Woodstock. With a couple days of preparation, they would have gone unnoticed and, if they did slip up, it would be passed off as "drugs, man." And if anybody reading this thinks that's crazy, just ask yourself: don't you know somebody who, if he or she had a time machine, would go to Woodstock?
@@SailorBarsoom I actually did meet a couple who claimed to have time travelled there... we were on the brown acid and thought it was part of the trip but they did seem pretty smart

It was the sixties, people back then were open to Bisexual and Homesexual affairs, and this was when freelove arose. Especially in England in 1966, where they called it swingin london. Even in America when the sixties came to an end, in the mid seventies when disco was huge. Many disco patronts had lots of simulated sex with multiple partners while on the influence of drugs, alcohol, and no one used protection back then. Because it was unheard of, and that's when the AIDs crisis came in the early eighties.
That fest would be the only fest I would ever attend to. First ever fest on Earth with some of the legends themselves: The Who, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, etc......🔥
Finally voices of those who were there. I was to young to go but I heard about it and wanted so bad to be there. I woke up about a month ago with the words "Lay Down Lay Down" ringing in my head. I had heard that song a very long time ago and had know idea what song those words belonged to or anything. So I Googled them and WOW they have led me here. Aammazing.

While tripping I couldn't figure out whether I was on the light tower hallucinating that I was on the ground, or whether I was on the ground hallucinating that I was on the light tower.

If someone said i can take you back to one event in history this would be it . 17 and lived in Scotland so no chance of being there at the time . I went to see the movie and was absolutely blown away by Santana and of course the main man Jimi Hendrix. The first time i saw him on tv i said Ah Ah so god does exist after all
