The lake you keep showing for Lake Karachay is Crater Lake in Oregon, USA. That island with all the spires is the Phantom Ship Island and the lake itself is in a volcano, 100% surrounded by ~800-1800 foot cliffs and is just under 2000 ft deep. Beautiful lake and I suggest visiting if you are near Union Creek, OR, but it is Not in Russia. I live near there and have visited it dozens of times. The entire area is Beautiful!
To any fans of BE AMAZED! That's reading my comment You're perfect just the way u are and never change for anyone always be yourself. My dream is to reach 100. I've been struggling to get there
9:09 perhaps the most amazing aspect of the nazca lines is the fact it's essentially a mountain with the top removed and flattened. nazca is a clear example of a technologically advanced civilization on earth that we're not aware of, be it human, alien or even a civilization of intelligent octopi.
Maybe Gobekli Tepe is an ancient graveyard! It seems filled with small, upright stones, with images carved on them. Those images could have been symbols of challenges a hunter might have overcome, or of leadership of a successful tribe.
I live in mount Carmel which is 2 miles away from Centralia, my dad was the first responder to the fire that started there. It's still on fire today and smokes
Glass Beach is a great place to visit. I grew up getting to go to it every now and again. I even have some glass from it. Blue and red glass being the hardest to come by. And it doesn't only have glass you can find broken pieces of pottery on the beach too.
i have actually been to ijen several times lol. it's quite a trek and you do have to start at something like 10pm-midnight because the fire is best visible from midnight to 3 am, otherwise it gets too light out and the fire can't be seen properly. it's also really really cold up there because of the harsh winds so if anyone wants to visit, i suggest bringing a sweater or a windbreaker.
Living close to Fort Bragg and its glass beach, every so often officials get annoyed at all the people picking up the glass as souvenirs, and dont want the look ruined by tourists. I find it odd because essentially tourist are picking up litter and its pissing others from there off.
U guys always have the most interesting videos. Thank u for pumping them out so often and having good taste when your chosing subjects. Love from Michigan
Actually dumping a glass buttle in the ocean isn't a bad thing. First it can provide shelter for little fishes. And once broken, the waves will break it down even more to a point where it almost returns to sand. Then animals can use it to create shells or it can be used again to replace see sand to make concrete for construction.
That is my opinion and I think it is the most logical. We have not been on this planet long and all we have done is destroy it. I would bet my life we actually came from another planet that we destroyed and the hieroglyphs were a way of saying it is safe here. Unfortunately we have proven to be a parasite to our environment.
That is a very logical opinion. And it would make sense. We've always looked to the sly or aimed for it it seems. And we are really good at making things visible from space. For a very long time.
Um. But if we came from another planet then wouldnt our ancestors be much further along the evolutionary chain? Like it's a cute idea, but a total reach. We have seen the evolution of man on earth, so what you're saying is we came here (as Neanderthals) from another planet, lost all intuition of space travel, tools, etc, then we rediscovered how to make tools like spears bows fire etc? Sounds like a cute ya fan fiction novel. And then I must ask if you are familiar with enrico fermi, and the paradox he proposed. Please dont make a mockery of science, dont just be like "well I think this, I'd bet my life on it." With ZERO proof. The universe is never going to be exactly what you want, nor will it work how you would like it to work. Okay have a good day!
I'm amazed by the fact that every day there is something or the other on this channel.. How do you get so much content? I've seen youtubers that publish once a week and that is also a hassle.. Hats off to the creator.. Also, I love the narration.. You should bethe voice on Alexa or Google Assistant.. Very pleasant voice..
There's a road in Ayrshire, Scotland, if you pour water on to the roads surface, it appears to travel uphill, it's called the Electric Brae. This also works with a vehicle, let the handbrake off and the vehicle appears to move up the hill.
You can no longer walk on the abandoned highway, they covered it all with dirt last year. ☹️ I was able to show it to my Dutch friends and walk it for the last time. It was covered a couple of months after their visit.
Hoover dam, while working for Arizona department of trans. A fellow worker made a paper airplane and launched it off the side of the dam, it slowly went down the face of the dam, about the time it got to the discharge area it began rising back up, it came all the way back to the top and then started the spiraling back down again, after 4 times we had to go back to work and left with that paper plane still going up and down the face of Hoover dam. That is one event in my life that I will never forget
I live in Victoria, Australia, nowhere near Wagga Wagga and I used to walk my dog in a paddock nearby. The grass in this paddock was also covered in spiderwebs but all the spiders had flown off with the wind. At the end of our walk, I had to wipe off all the spiderwebs from my dogs legs and belly plus my own legs. It was actually quite magical walking through this phenomenon, however I will say, had there been spiders on the webs there would have been no way I'd have walked through that as I have a great dislike for spiders, no matter what the size. Also, this phenomenon is caused by baby spiders taking off after being born (or hatched).
You probably are a bot I mean you want to call others bots and you cant just leave people alone stop targeting people you literally went to my comment not anyone else's and targeted me just why?
Blue Volcano is beautiful, makes me think of a propane torch or lit rubbing alcohol, but at a much bigger scale. That's really scary, having burned myself with a propane torch in the past. Even though I used "Liquid skin" and polysporin for it to heal well and it happened years ago I still have a nozzle shaped scar lol
Omg.... Ive been to Centralia! Me and my family used to go do a day trip at a late farther away from home every year and Cenralia was somewhat along the way if you took a short detour. I was much much younger and I was absolutely TERRIFIED of Centralia when my father and sister decided they wanted to go there and see the town. I cried to the point of almost hyperventilation (full blown panic attack) cause I was terrified the ground would break under us and we would all fall into the underground fire. (It didn't help that I was told a few Centralia horror stories before we stopped there. Like a kid almost falling in and the ground collapsing and such.) I was a kid maybe 10 or 12? We saw the smoke rising out of the dirt ground in some places. Its kinda silly looking back on that time in my life. I used to be afraid of everything as a kid! The underground fire is such a odd phenomenon and the town is almost completely abandoned. Obviously as a adult Centralia isn't scary to me anymore. Not in the way it used to. I would totally go there again if given the chance. 🙂 Im kinda happy there is a BE AMAZED video that talks about a place Ive actually seen and am not too far from!
10:22 Theory: they might have drawn that as a form of notes to what they saw for future aliens to know what lived there kind of like the the descriptions at zoos
The bell sound coming from the rocks means that it was just a part of a segment without any inside damage. It means that they are super strong unlike the ones that might have a crack inside which gives it the full sound
I live near Ringing Rocks, it's quite amazing. Not perfectly unique though, I've gathered bowl shaped ringing rocks at Iron Hill, Delaware, they have a similar tone, like natural gongs.
Three theories of the Nazca Lines: 1) The lines could be artwork done by aliens 2) There could've been a civilisation whereby the walls carved out the lines 3) The lines were already drawn, but left undisturbed for millions of years
6:08 guys ur not gonna believe me but I no joke saw those mysterious lights one time, so I was on a train ride to Utah with my mom and brother to see our family but late at night I saw these creepy lights hovering over a city it was really weird but idk
Glass Beach? Yes. It would be a bit of a road trip for me (I live in New Mexico), but so worth it. Blue volcano? Google images and RU-vid would be much safer.
The Nazca lines were created by "Clearing back" the darker surface of the ground to reveal the "Lighter colored" sub-surface. Zero wind, rain or other major external effect, nothing changes. For Ions!
I’m so hooked on his videos not only is the content very interesting it’s that voice for me “YOU HAD ME AT HELLO” btw we need a pic to go with that voice .. SINGLE MAYBE ?
7:12 It would make sense for radiation to be a part of their cause. After all, the aurora borealis is caused by solar radiation hitting the atmosphere. It tends to only happen at the magnetic poles because that's where the Earth's magnetic field is the thinnest.
12:03 We have one of those in Romania. I didn't know they are so rare 😮 14:40 Those things also exist in India. I forgot the name of the location, but if u put a rock on top of this special bigger rock and then you strike it, it makes a cool sound.
Those lights in the sky might be an angel playing with a giant laser light, kinda like we do for our cats! As far as the blue volcano goes I’m perfectly happy to see it in this video! Glad the Hoover Dam backsplash is only water and not some drunk standing on the ledge peeing into the dam to watch that particular backsplash. Nurses: The first person you see after you say “hold my beer and watch this!”
Re: Nazca Lines. I have read that the explanation for the lines' construction may be in the possible existence of hot air balloons. The piece I read indicated that tombs of the Nazca people yeilded fabric and models of what could be hot air balloons. The fabric would have made an excellent material for the envelope of such a balloon. Objects found in the tomb look like a peculiar, wedge-shaped sort of balloon. Such a balloon if tethered to the ground would be less efficient than a balloon with a more nearly spherical shape but would have acted like a weather vane and have provided a very stable platform from which to oversee construction of the shapes. The Montgolfier brothers are sometimes credited with the discovery of the hot air balloon. While I do not accept all charges of Eurocentrism, in this instance I believe that to deny that any other humans before the Montgolfiers built/utilized such devices is pure Eurocentrism. I would argue that the Nazca lines' construction being overseen by observers in hot air balloons is far less fanciful than many/most of the alternative explanations for how the lines were constructed. We today are no more intelligent than those who came before us and Europeans are arguably no more intelligent than other people.
Gobekli Tepe might've been a memorial palace where hunters who got killed by game had their bones stored in there and the drawings must've been the animals responsible for the hunters' deaths.
Here's the real question: why do people think they weren't farmers? Sure, some people think they weren't... but do they have proof or are they just guessing?
My theory on Gobekli Tepe is that it was a kind of lecture hall/temple of worship where Nomadic tribes put names and concepts behind the shapes in the stars that they followed to escape the harsh winters. The lecture hall bit comes from them passing on the knowledge to the younger generations and the temple of worship bit comes from the stories that would no doubt pop up around the names and shapes they gave to the constellations. Why this site could exist so early on is because astronomy would have to have been the very first sophisticated knowledge developed by early civilizations, and thus would be elevated to a significance which could have inspired the construction of the site, sculpting is impressive but creative talent, a sharp rock, a big boulder and enough dedication to take the time to do it would really be all that's needed as far as the carving goes specifically, the moving and placing of the boulders is explained by there being more than one person doing the manual labor. still the most significant site there is in terms of understanding just how far back we go and how much we've done.
The Fort Bragg Glass Beaches, were where the city pushed the wreckage from the 1906 San Francisco earthquake. They suffered a lot of damage up there and had no place to put the mess, so they got bulldozers and pushed it all right off the cliff. We go every few years; it's a really cool area. Good brewery with really good food, tattoo museum, sea glass museum, a fisherman's warf, and cute little Bed & Breakfasts. Gosh, I sound like a travel commercial, sorry. ☺
I've driven through Centralia several times. It's not as bad as you'd think. Last time was about 10 years ago. Yeah the big thing is everyone has left so there are streets with no houses. You can see some places that there is smoke bellowing out but it's not that bad. I remember the first time in the 90's when my dad drove us through. We talked to 2 older guys and they were perfectly fine still living there. From what they told us the worst part was just the psychological impact on the remaining residents of having all their friends and family leave.
I'd be so much more likely to hit the like button sand subscribe if I wasn't reminded in every damn video. I can't be the only one who feels this way am I?
While I do agree in part, it’s only a very short little reminder and isn’t as “in your face” as most RU-vidrs can be about subscribing to their channel. Besides it’s how a channel grows so while it can be annoying, it’s just how it works 🤷♀️
I agree with you, on that one. Another topic that I find quite interesting, but is never covered, is trump supporters, and today's G.O.P.. Seriously, That dude was never fit to be the president of the United States, let alone the president of my local P.T.A. board. And, now we have lunatics like Marjorie Tylor Greene, polluting the already darkening waters. The chick is a complete carbon copy of the orange stain, who offers absolutely nothing to her constituents in Georgia. Any ways, I do not want to get into politics, or cross any lines. lol...So, I will stop here...
