My asperagus fern is growing like crazy, even in canadian winters. It just needs loads of light. I keep mine next to a bright sunny window. It never stops making new leaves.
Raphadaphora tetrasperma’s are prone to root rot. My Peru is the same. It seems to be doing better since I put it in self-watering pot. Try pon for the black velvet. They love fertilizer too
I checked the roots yesterday on raphadiphora tetrasperma and they had indeed rotted 🫤 chopped and propped in water now. Good idea for black velvet - will try shifting it in PON 🌿
in the plant 3 segment, the swiss cheese plant, will thrive much better if you stake and cupport the spines of the vines. They will grow up and bush out
Thank you...thats comforting for me to read 🙂 going to try and experiment with lighting over the next few weeks and take notes...oh yes, a diva they are, them alocasia's 🌿🙈
I find the first plant hard to grow too 😭 I gave up on it and let it go the monstera thai will grow bigger leaves with good lighting mine was the size of yours when I got it in December so far since I got it it’s thrown me 4 new leaves they grow slow but with each new leaf they size up it gave me my first fenastrastions on leaf 3 with 2 slits on each side and right now it’s working on the 4th leaf and I see at least 3 slits on one side of the leaf I fertilize with miracle grow lol I can’t afford the fancy fertilizer I use it with every watering and a chunky soil mix. The begonia I have mine in a chunky soil mix with osmocote slow release fertilizer and in a self watering pot that it came with it had 3 stems when it was gifted to me now it has 6 stems full of leaves and they love a good lighting too as for the black velvet I think it needs more light I don’t own one but I have the ninja version of it and when I got it it was looking like how yours is and it takes a while to grow new leaves it’s given me a new leaf double the size of what it came with and the stem is shorter so lighting might help I also fertilize with osmocote. Hope your plants start growing for you happy planting 🥰
Wow you have had a journey with your plants...so glad to know about their progress too 🌿 gives me hope for my monstera 🙌🏻 hoping my black velvet picks up too...giving them all time to come around 🪴 thank for sharing your journey...give me more hope 😇
@@galfarrero4619 ohhh then you'll have to wait till one comes around...yes yes pallidiflorum are quite hardy and easy to care for...in fact they are much more beautiful than vittariifolium...would totally recommend it 🌿
Natural sunlight is way better than artificial light. Temperature matters more than humidity. I live at alberta but my plants are growing fast even in winter
have you tried adding nutrients particular n:p:K nutrient into the soil. i think you are putting too much faith in that store bought soil. also just place your hand behind the object you want the camera to focus on and it will focus without you fiddling with the camera buttons all the time.
I use a npk 20-20-20...which I dilute...along with which I add a bit of Epsom salt and trichoderma powder...but guess I should try another npk combination...this one's clearly not helping Thanks for the suggestions 🙂
absolutely have the same issue with my gigi x crystallinum that has only two tiny baby leaves & lives in my cabinet. even though it sucks, im happy im not the only one 😅
