I think the option between locked and unlocked is nice. A ripper build with speed gears and a brushless motor with the front unlocked sounds like a fun machine. It looks like it uses a bunch of fcx24 components though.
We used to do this with 8th scale nitros... Lol diffs fluid 10,000wt. No ship!! Giving just enough limited slip to save your aft from a broken chain or axle... Lol!! 🤣🤣🤣
If you want gear reduction, use the transmission to do it's job. Get the underdrive ratio gear set. Unless you're doing dig, and I understand that! Lol.
What downfall if you're using for the new TRX4MT? I need open diffs! Or at least something that with house them with using the Losi LMT mini tires and rims. I don't think a portal axle will fit in the wheel well of those beasts,and I'm using them for realizm build of a Bigfoot 1. Can someone answer this question please? Would they work in a Lmt mini tire and rim set? If so, I'll buy these Axles today! 🍻🖖
I'd still need extentions for it to get away from the front bumper ripping off, but by GWAR, I will have this truck looking like the Bigfoot1, 3or 4 with the dual Predators. I have everything going perfect, except Axles! I will never buy another Traxxas. If I buy a 1/18 scale, I'll get a redcat with the amount of upgrades I've sunk in this. Should have bought a redcat 1/18 chassis, traxxas Ford f-150 body, losi lmt mini Axles and r+t... With all the other flippin'upgrades I've done. Hell, I should just try mounting losi lmt mini Axles still!! They come open diffs!! Traxxas dropped the ball with the TRX4MT. BADLY. I Should have asked for a refund... And throw it in the garbage except for the body. It's beautiful. Honest. Electrically, shockwise and Axles, all garbage. My FMS Smasher was built better than this thing!! And I only put 100 more into it fot what you see on my RU-vid page!! Lol! End rant.. Sorry... Pulling my hair out. Went rom retired rc monster truck racing champion pro mod to these 5 years later for filun... Lmao!! Over it! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🍻✌️🖖
