Gearbox fully missed out on the chance to make an eridium tier of weapons in bl3, with how much you here the twins and cultists talking about eridium tier subscriptions they definitely could've done something with it.
I don't expect pearls to be super OP, however I expect them to be either really amazing for a niche build, or a good weapon to have. They don't have to be broken, but I would want them to perform well, and definitely not be a paper weight.
BL3 could have always benefited from a new rarity if only to cut down on the legendary pool bloat especially given the absolutely MASSIVE divide between good and bad legendaries, they’re basically separate rarities as is.
Part of the reason I wanted to see higher rarities was because compared to bl2, legendries in bl3 drop so often that they just aren't special anymore. In bl2 I'm excited to see a legendary and what it is because they rarely drop and you don't have world drops out the wazoo.
That’s very true. Borderlands 3 has too many and they don’t feel as special. Borderlands 2 is just an all around perfect game. They are never going to make a borderlands game that good ever again
Facts. Its funny, we had so much more content for bl2 and its like 25 gigs. Meanwhile bl3 cause new graphics, even though less content, is over 125 gigs.
@@tupples2863 Gunplay in BL2 was terrible...guns did not have any sort of punch to them, and certain weapons like jakobs rifles in general sounded like toys. Story was funny and definitely better than BL3's (granted BL3's wasn't bad, it was fine, but the bar Jack set as a villian is like; Far Cry Blood Dragon compared to Far Cry 5 story wise). In a nutshell: BL2: Better story. BL3: Better gameplay.
i hate this stigma of having a rarer category for the sake of having a rarer category, a rarer category means they have to be better no doubt about it cause otherwise whats the damn point, like yeah buddy im so jealous of your 1300hr farmed "contraband" weapon when my purple gun go brrrr
True. The idea of rarity just being there for bragging rights is no fun. I do think legendary should be more about being unique and good for all content than being a massive amount better than anything else though. It should at least not be useless, but it doesn't have to be "new meta" all the time.
Honestly if they added a rarity like contraband and made it so it only dropped from the end bosses of the raids and added another raid so there would be 3 super rare guns to farm from each raid would be sick
i think for a new rarity it would be cool to have weapon manufacturers make a weapon that isnt a usual weapon type for that manufacturer. for example a teidiore sniper that when reloaded is thrown like a longbow grenade, or vladof shotgun with massive mag size and fire rate
Contraband is the fuckin' coolest name for a rarity. If there's one thing BL steals from them I hope it's the no damage immune phases. I mean, the rarity. cough.
Love your videos! And I'm currently playing Redux too so fresh info on this mod are always welcome ☺️ Quick question: do you have some cool vault Hunter builds for Redux? I've been doing some experiments but I'm not that good, I admit it 😅
I like these types of videos you should keep it up have a good day I still can’t play the redox mod but I’m looking forward to getting a PC so I can play it
Tried the redux mod for bl3 for the first time after playing wonderlands redux. My first guardian takedown I got two mortis to drop. Dunno if it's uber rare now since how long it's been
3:45 i just checked my bank and found it, i have never killed the wndigo, nor do i own the Guns, Love and Tentacles DLC. so it has to have replaced one of the guns i have collected, so i'm concerned with which gun it was
The person who made this mod (with some help from other people) has a guide, here you go: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eya9VVB_HSU.html
25 runs, 1% drop rate lol. Imagine having those droprates and only getting 1 shot a week at a weapon(well 1 per character so 3) and you'll know the pain of farming raid exotics in Destiny if there's no drop protection. I know ppl that did 3 Last Wishes a week for almost a year to get 1 Thousand Voices, same for Anarchy.
If i have an Xbox can I join people who are on PC doing the redux mod, like how we can join PC users doing the randomizer Arms race and boss arms race?!
It would definitely crash the game after a few minutes because the console has already enough problems running a circle of slaughter with no frame drops! But to answer the question: No, Mods are PC exclusive!
If I want to have a rarer item then I can go and look for a Crossroad. This item didnt drop so often. Another colour or simply something rarer for the sake of being rarer while not being different from legendaries is pointless to me (sorry!). Powercreep and player base expectations are further problems with such an introduction. Just my 2 cents. Bl 3 is very rewarding to players: personally, I do not see a massive problem with that: anoints are the item part system from bl2 with the impact potential of slag. Same item can be useless or a god roll. The performance window is big. To obtain the god roll is hard but at the same time farming a gun specifically is more motivating given that the drop chances are high. That's how the game works. But given that almost nobody farms god rolls instead using save files/ editor they dont see that advantage. And then there are the others who are disappointed that the Shlooter does not provide 100'000% more luck but 'only' 1000%. Can't make it right. If the impact potential of anoints was not as significant they could reduce the drop chances and a legendary drop would feel more special to the specific audience that misses the feeling of accomplishment but that would decrease the game's difficulty (dilemma). I have the feeling that they improve this in wonderlands by putting a new layer that influences luck: the more you farm/do it, the higher the luck. Makes sense. Anyways, as long as I do not have to replay the horrible story in TVH for every charcter in Bl3 just to be eligible to obtain a specific item with a different colour/rarity, I could accept it in bl3. Seems like I am pretty much alone with my opinion just as usual.
i was excited to play Redux, but after i played it, all i can say its, Avoid it. Especially if you are new player. Essentially it's a massive cheat, and taking all fun out of game. Everything dropping tons of loot. Skags at very early stage, dropped 3-4 weapons & health vials, per mob.Level 18 and alrdy found 8-10 Legendaries, with ultra overpowered stats. Lv21, Venomous Warlord dropped off random mob, and it's with the STATS of it's actual Level 53, because VW it's a super rare Lv53 weapon drop off the Queen, or ultra rare world drop. What the hell? I just one-shotted everthing in my path. Another Legendary, (forgot the name) at Lv22, that shots some cryobeams, literrally melted everything in 2secs. And the most obvious cheat, was a Lv19 Jakobs Sniper rifle that 98% of the hits was 11k / 14k CRITS. Really? Also, why all cosmetics are removed? If you want the best of BL3, just play the normal vanilla BL3. Unless you like cheating.
For something that no one but a PC player can use these are great... for the PC players... but I'm on a PS5 and can't get them... so I'm being left out of all of this... and frankly it's turning me off the channel...
