Blueprints are done in Update 8 Experimental, so far they will crash on Update 7. Here is link to blueprint files: drive.google.com/file/d/1iRkNp0f3rv-mFfh8PfiDDpjbrhm2L8R8/view?usp=sharing Reinforced iron plate video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-304j8pMGhxM.html
@@bakedpuffins2303 To be fair to totalxclipse, he does make tutorials on how to make them, so you can just follow the tutorial vid and reproduce them yourself without paying. But yeah, it's kinda cringe.
your blueprints are really awesome. I downloaded them and picked them apart to get some ideas of stuff. Your videos have changed the way I play the game. I hate using someone elses blueprint though. I feel like I am cheating unless I make my own, but you really got me working on modular buildings for most use items.
That's my jam! I love to reverse engineer stuff myself although it is usually game mods or java script and definitely not blueprints in Satisfactory xD So far I can totally see that there are multiple ways that you can approach blueprint factories in Satisfactory. Ratios can be very very different. There are very interesting choices in some places further along and I bet when I finish tier 8 I will see the places where it can be rather different. So everyone can adapt my blueprints to a personal style. And architecture can be more interesting! Rather huge potential even for such a limited tool.
It would be great if you walk through the creation of your blueprints in a slower paced way. Show us how you come up with your blue print in real time!
I've just started a singleplayer playthrough and I am struggling so hard with having everything neat and tidy. I must have rebuilt my base several times already and right now, I have a giant floor level of only smelters/foundries, a second level with constructors, a 3rd level for conveyor routing and then the 4th floor is the assemblers... been stuck on phase 2 for hours with what feels like zero progress. Only just started producing the Versatile Frameworks, but no longer have a Smart Plating area and haven't even touched the Automated Wiring (or w/e it's called) Going to have to finally check out your blueprints, as they are so smart and compact. Thank you for not paywalling them behind a patreon, or asking "join my discord" - because that shit drives me nuts. edit: I see now that you are able to make them so compact because you don't mind having everything clipping x) fair enough as you can't really see it from the outside :P
That is a Satisfactory in the nutshell! I redesigned my factories numerous times. It is cool puzzle to solve each time around. Both in terms of production chain layout and in terms of physical placement of everything. And surprisingly I enjoy Satisfactory more taking enormous amount of time unlocking things and making sure that everything is neat and tidy before rushing to the next phase. I have some limitations for clipping. I do not do hard clipping, and for the most part I use ability of conveyor lifts to snap with inputs and outputs way closer than by the default. I just feel like game miss the lift splitter/merger part. Otherwise you can just place belts straight though buildings, each other and even clip buildings into each other... But I do not do these types of clipping.
I feel like im missing a step. I would like to use your motor BP, but im unsure on what mirror to use with it and then what to conect when i attach a mirror BP. unless im just over thinking it. Other wise thanks for making thess. They do save time and space. Great work and thanks for sharing them!
For the motor production you need rotors. Both blueprints are 1:1. So it can be any combination of two blueprints. Either 2 separate buildings with different mirrored blueprints for 22.5 motor output. Or it can be single building with motor and rotor blueprint combined for 11.25 motors / min. In either case connections are separated and it is all about visuals.
Thanks for all your awesome work and blueprints! By any chance do you have a blueprint for efficient steel production (aka steel encabulator?) for encased beams, pipes and steel beems? I tried to create mirrored one, but it's just produces 18s of each and I constantly run out of steel beams, while overflowing pipes and encased beams...
How were you able to get the conveyor lift to attach so close to the constructor at 5:07? It seems like the merger is snapped to the top of the lift, but I can't get the constructor output to clip that closely with the lift.
First you place celling conveyor mount at required distance and extend lift from up > down, snapping to connection. Note you can use R key to reverse direction of the lift. Then you just add merger/splitter to the lift after removing mount.
Amazing. I'm over here with my 5 motor/min setup that takes up like 10x15 area questioning my life choices. And lets not talk about my heavy modular frame factory. Do you have anything for the electronics like computers?
Yep. This week I am making video for 2 fuel generator blueprints for 300 oil into 2.85GW or 9GW of power. Next week should be 18 Computer / min blueprint. That one can produce either 18 Crystal Oscillators and 48 circuit boards or 18 Computers. Actually made it before my Motor setup, so switch tech was made for Computers first xD Then I have personal storage blueprint similar to my Iron Encabulator for AI limiters, Circuit Boards, HS connectors, Quickwire, Silica and Quartz. Will make a video on a later date.
These are color codes if you want match something else to these factories. You can either *edit* default 16 swatches or use custom swatch and create color presets there. This set have MCRN color scheme.
That is something I never tried. And I bet it should not let you into blueprint tab before that. In any case you at least need to manually create session folder for blueprints. But other aspects of blueprints are pretty clear. Once you have them from another save you can plop buildings that you not even unlocked yet. Also they always retain alt recipes and all the locked decorative features. This is sort of abusable you can even copy paste recipes without unlocking them.
For satisfactory calculations it is satisfactorytools dot com. Have some outdated bits like old weapons tho. And also there is very nice free software to make charts by yourself at draw dot io. Nice tool to make charts without calculations.
While Uber Entertainment is developing KSP IP I highly doubt this. I would love to, but people in general are not interested anymore. Every new KSP video is killing my channel at this point. Even when compared to poorly performing Satisfactory videos (for now). At this point either this channel die with KSP or I do something else.
Nope. Standard ore to ingot ratio is 1:1. Alloy recipes require logistics like anything else. So there is no difference between producing ingots on site or in the factory. First one only add one extra step and still have the same amount of work in terms of balancing as raw ore.
