I feel bad for the game developers. EA's executive leadership forced it out early (they recently bragged about how fast they got the sequel done), resulting in a ton of negativity about an otherwise amazing game.
This game has so much depth and so much to explore. People who call it a 20 hour game are the types of players who ran through Skyrim without doing any side quests.
It is a 20 hour game. Hours are counted by how long it takes to complete the campaign numbnuts. The side activities are amazing but in the end still just side activities.
@@danielboucheofficial Yea and honestly I beat the game on master then new game plus with combat encounter perk on, on grandmaster, and have gotten nearly every collectable in the entire game, and it didn't take long at all.
I used to be an adventurer like you. As a completionist, and someone who played through, got 100% of everything, played through new game+, and dicked around a bit, I got 80 hours out of it. I didn’t think that was too bad. But I also got it 50% off, so my value calculation is based on that. Still, I loved it and would have no hesitation in buying the next one.
Because so much of it, is just collecting things. And a lot of it is trash. It's over ½ the content in games now, that is just collecting trash. They should add in fewer things, but maybe make it more meaningful
Depends on what your playing on, I’m playing on PS5 on performance mode and the only glitch/bugs I get is the doors in the saloon taking a couple extra seconds to load up and open and the game crashes occasionally during long playthroughs. Like I played for a while yesterday taking breaks here and there and leaving my game on and my game only crashed twice. In my own experience the bugs/glitches I experienced are more than bearable but it still shouldn’t be there regardless
I also play on ps5 on performance mode and it kinda has been a mess. In certain areas I struggle to get 20 fps. Specific enemies also just vanished. Nevertheless I really like the story

I really think they should have add the Obi Wan - Clone Wars Outfit, instead of the Hermit one… and maybe the Han Solo Outfit, or the Black Jedi Luke Skywalker one
Also for the cave at the beginning of the video, you can actually fight all of the bosses 1v1 if use the acid pods to melt the doors. There is one right at the beginning of the tunnel to the right of the first electric door ( 0:57 ) that you can use to melt the door of the first 2 bosses.
Performance mode mostly runs at 60 for me...but "quality" mode runs at what looks like 15. i just got the game after many patches and quality mode still being that broken is just sad.(Ps5 version)
The blaster stance is hands down the best one if you add increased block meter and increased block breaking as perks it makes the blaster stance almost as powerful as the cross guard stance but much faster and a charged blast shot of any kind besides stun is almost a one or two shot break to most enemies guards besides actual bosses
@@goestheboom5211 I have been avoiding Crossguard cause of how heavy it looks. Going from the saber being almost like air to being a hunk of giant weight is really weird feeling.
@@grimv1208 I felt the same way. I use double bladed for bigger groups of enemy’s and cross guard for 1-3. It destroys people. Especially when you upgrade. I recommend trying it for a bit.
Glad you talked about the perk slots. Will definitely be checking out that XP perk in conjunction with the derelict dam XP farm. Already made like 16 skill points from the farm with no amp perks
Something you may not have noticed is that you can use the blaster stance while on a mount even if you dont have it set as one of your stances. This technically gives you three stances to use at the same time, at least while your on Koboh.
You can also make use of single saber moves with the dual sabers. Just throw one of them and you can get off a move before the saber returns. I throw mine then do the gap closer (L1 and square I believe).
There is also a map upgrade you can unlock to see all plant seeds collectables. Combining with all the map upgrades you mention here, it will show you all collectables in the game.
I hope Ubisoft's Star wars game is this game, combined with what was supposed to be that 1313 game. I think it would be so fucking badass to be able to play as a mandalorian, bounty hunter, jedi all in one!!!
Also for the crypt at 4:00 you can easily memorise the sequence by looking opposite the wall and by looking at the lights in the wall. Just mimic the lights in the same pattern as if it’s a mirror and it opens. That’s what I did in my game.
This is literately how i figured it out yesterday in my play-through. Didn't even notice the pillars outside even though i jumped top that platform for a collectable.
Bro it's people overthinking it ... LIFTEDDREAMZ here and I'm almost done first playthrough and I explored like crazy been playing since day 0 and have had literally 1 fram hiccup other than that it's been great . Very beautiful and not even comparable to fallen order I would say fallen order now in it's current state has more glitches then I've experienced in survivor.
I have found another way to get to the Hammer Raiders earlier than that. I Force pull them off and fight them one on one and get way more xp. Its my little XP farm technique.
I can't wait to find eno Cordova Saber and more to make characters Saber like qui gon, starkiller, anakin, obi wan, maul, savage, I hope later on they add the mandalorian hilt pices that change the blade to flat and mando outfit and beskar material and a grogu skin for Bd1
I honestly think on PS5 they got the two performance modes reversed. I get better frames & smoother play playing with performance mode OFF. How crazy is that? Only had the game crash once and got stuck in Cals room in the saloon, none of the doors would open and had to use the save circle new fast travel feature to get out.
@ 1:55 I've been grinding in that cave for 2days. It's more boring than my other farming spot, but there's no comparison to xp... 1 run, 1xp in like 20mins
Can we get a secret unlock to fixing the screen tearing and horrendous FPS drops, both in regular gameplay and cutscenes thanks? Also a fix to the opening credits when you start the game ALSO having a massive FPS drop in the beginning, I mean, what?

Already got the chest map just stumbled across the cave and managed to kill all three of the bosses in one life by levitating them and taking them out one by one.

Yeah the first time I stumbled on this was on accident and got stuck in the 1v3 with low health and one stim left lmao I was so pissed too cuz i forgot to save so I had to restart from some random spot nowhere near the place lmao
These Cal star wars games are ok but I stop playing them after awhile. It super tired of sweaty platforming 99% of the game. It's ridiculous how every five steps there's a bunch of Jedi parkour crap you have to do just to move 100 yards in any direction, no matter where you go in the universe. It's annoying and these games only have ONE trick for world building/traversal and it's those tired platforming mechanics. I quit playing the last one because of it and I stopped playing this one too. Ridiculous amounts of platforming. 5/10
Now we just need a map upgrade for the seeds. Good golly, one region on Koboh has almost 20 seeds you need to collect, it's crazy. Haven't even gotten that far in the game yet! Appreciate the video, though Jor! Gonna prioritize these map upgrades for sure!

I dont know if its just me but the graphics are so good. Inside imperial buildings wheres thers lots of metal, itt almost looks like a real star wars movie. Cal kinda sticks out like a sore thumb though lol
its such a shame the combat is so laggy and you cant cancel attacks to parry any time. im such an aggressive player and playing hours of ragnarok wrecking house and switching to this was reaaaaaaalll pain in the butt to get used too. Still not entirely good at it the control are just really delayed from what my brain wants to have happen. But the game itself and the story and the exploration gameplay i love it all, just wish the gameplay was way smoother.
You can make the rancor fight prince patern. When you get to the rancor don't fight it run back up, grab the explosive there be a hole in the floor so you can blow up the electric fence, prince patern is waiting behind,just sit back and enjoy the fight
Force pull the hammer warriors off their ledge from below so you only have to deal with one at a time just be careful to stay towards the edges so the ground doesn't cave in on ya. 🙃😉😀
Anyone else find a Tableau of battle droids making a portrait of a beast? I had to spend like 5 minutes squeezing in-between gaps to reach that point, I thought it was odd so I also took a screen shot it.
Everybody keeps saying that you have to fight all 3 lightsaber enemies at once. You don't have to if you blow up the gate thay are standing in front of you can fight them 1 at a time.
Hey, I found the dual hammer guys on my own, just playing the game. I’ve only barely just opened up pylons saloon, and found the spawn of oggdo and the dual hammer guys. If you hold L2, you can pull them down one at a time, and fight them one on one, early game for an absolutely amazing early game exp farm.
I had 3 crashes in only 1 hour that happens after the patch that they did i don't know if it my ps5 but honestly iam kinda scared to play it now i hope they do a patch on the crashes
I haven’t watched yet but I really hope the perk that stuns enemies around cal when he uses a stem is on here because that shit saved me from getting fucking slapped when healing countless times
Yo anybody experiencing performance issues on console and have at any point changes their fov from default to wider or widest, change back to default or lower. Open areas especially have so much going on that it strains the processor if too much is on screen at once
