and then people with a straight face tell you forza motorsport is better... the same forza that uses termac texture assets with car parts at the same time.. people don't understand that when it comes to gran turismo, Kazunori really don't mess around with quality even if it means that he needs to offer fewer cars in a GT title, cause Gran Turismo feels more like a playable car museum game than your typical average racing title

They really took it to the next level with gt7. If it gets the amount of cars and tracks gt4 and gt6 had, other racing games got no chance

I like the fact if you boot a cone, it is waiting there in the middle of the track to mock you when you come back around.

Certain cars also have special displays for fuel map. The raptor goes into eco mode if on fuel map 6.

Fun fact the new r31 in the game also has a chime! Just like the 86

Notice how the paddle shifters behind the wheel also physically move when shifting gears. In other games I noticed that they seem static even when shifting gears.

Other Racing Games just put cars, random modifications, tracks and such. And call it a day. GT ? Particularly GT7 ? Cars and UI is an Art Form for them. Not only that the difference between spectators during Time Trial and Racing mode.

This should've received more views. Must've taken a while to edit. I can highly recommend PSVR2 for GT7 - it's absolutely incredible. Especially the VR showrooms.

One thing that would be awesome is if you could actually see the weight reduction. As interior part being removed. Leaving exposed sheet metal removal of rear seat and or passenger seat. That would be a lot of work designing it to look accurate enough for each car. But it would awesome if it was there.

Crazy details, but somehow they forgot to detail the underside of the Volvo 240 on the last update. Completely smooth except for the exhaust. It's not a big thing at all, but with the rest of the game being as detailed as it is, it was a bit of a surprise

Some of these have been in GT For DECADES which I think is even WILDER! Cars tracked mileage back in GT5, and even Miles Per Gallon in some interiors. The Bugatti Veyron, similar to the GT3RS, has suspension that adjusts two different ways in response to it's 3 downforce configurations it goes through on GT PSP. Grass being blown in the wind is very shown off at Eiger in GT5 Prologue too, which I remember being blown away by back in the day. Still cool today! One that will always gets me, is that some of the vintage race cars have dials that twang around a bit like a broken watch. I thought this was a glitch. Turns out PD are simulating a "Chronometric" dial system, which uses similar technology to watches to dispay speed and actually does ping around like that. I first spotted it on the R31 Super Silhouette. Did some googling and got blown AWAY. This series has been doing The Most forever and a day.

honestly, GT7 was overhated on launch. Now that the game has been out for a few years, it is really starting to shine. When you hook up PSVR2 and a Wheel to it, it becomes a completely different game.

Love the game, but I still wish there was "Proper" damage in some races. If I bounce off a barrier at 150mph I'd like to see some kind real damage, maybe a missing wing or damaged body work rubbing on a tyre, causing you to pit and having that part removed or changed..Maybe it's too much for all that at on today's console, maybe GT8 on the PS6??

you know what detail in GT7 sucks? the fact it's only available for playstation... I hope the developers get enough money from their exclusive deal, than out of millions of sales for PC and other consoles ;-) I bought a PS3 only for GTA5, back in the days and I regret doing this, because I didn't really enjoy GTA that much and didn't play much other games on PS3, so I refuse from buying a playstation only to play this. it's a shame, really. I'd love to play GT7 🤷‍♂

It's a pity that Gran Turismo, from its fourth instalment onwards, in terms of car catalogue, has become fucking rubbish (I'm not even going to bother debating the vision gt thing, given that there are so many manufacturers in the world, it seems absurd to the extreme to have to resort to fictitious cars instead of expanding and improving the catalogue of manufacturers and models)... What the hell is the point of having a hundred different versions of the same model and the same generation of every fucking Japanese car in the game?! Why do I want 50 different versions of the Skyline R34?! I mean... it may have improved in many ways... but in other ways it's gotten noticeably worse... and that's something the developers should be ashamed of, not proud of... it's an objective and empirical fact that Gran Turismo 2, for example, had a thousand times better and more interesting car catalogue than the last 4 releases of the saga...
