I’m a 77 girl too, and I have a lot of trouble defining what generation we belong to. Our parents are boomers! We remember the 80s! It’s nice to see this trend from our childhood coming back. It reminds me of the Saved By The Bell graphics

I'm a 76 we are 80s babies and 100% Generation X we had the 80s toys The OG strawberry shortcake, cabbage patch, care bears, my little pony... we had the music Madonna Prince Michael Jackson then the 80s hair bands.... we got away with a lot as the "forgotten" and some would say ignored kids as we were really the first generation of true latch key kids. So while I was born in the 70s I would absolutely say I'm an 80s baby since most of our true memories don't start really forming until 3 to 5...
I was born in 1980, and yes I remember the neon everywhere. I had a neon pink jacket. But I have to say, that because I was born in ‘80, I don’t relate too much with that decade. My main memories were more from the ‘90 onward. But definitely remember, as another comment said, the OG strawberry shortcake etc. My music would definitely be ‘90 and up. But in my mid to late teens I was majorly into swing dancing. Basically I love all music except rap and severe heavy metal. 😂
I was a teen in the 80’s and I was all about the neon and the Madonna hair. The neon bangles and large neon earrings. Loved that era. Love the hearts. The half and half are my favourites. Thank you for sharing ❤

I think they are all perfect! The 80s I remember, we made a lot of our clothes! Painted, ripped, sewn back together.... You name it! I was born in 71 and was around for them, but I got to the 80s at the perfect time to enjoy every last drop of them! And YES! WE ALL WANT TO GO BACK THERE!!!! 🩷🩷🩷
I loved this era so much. I was born in '69 so was a teenager in the '80's loved loved loved Madonna and all those bangles, lace gloves etc so much fun.. often wish I could go back and do it all again 😆
I agree with you...I turned 13 in 1980 and I had a neon green top with a deep v that hung off my shoulder (Madonna - like) I wore it all the time.....I loved the neon 80's designs.....you have it spot on Claire 🤩😍🥰😘
I was born 68 and the 80's were the best. Such amazing music, the hair the clothes but especially the music. I wish I had a time machine to go back and know what I know now 😆
'55 gal here, L.A. beach gal. The late 60s and 70s were my coming of age years! The Baby and Infant years of Rock n Roll❤, New Mod Clothing, so much was New, Exciting and we embraced it all! Married in the mid-70s, but had a second single stretch in the early 80s!!😅😮 Dancing! Traveling! '92 Marriage, kids, in France this time😊. No Regrets! Thx Claire for a chance to Flashback😂
I don’t know, I think the right person could rock a pair of lightning !OG !OG earrings. 🤭 I was born at the end of the sixties, but my favorite music decades are the 80s and 90s. I totally had a “Trapper-Keeper” type of notebook binder with that neon pattern on it. Nostalgia is definitely a kicker, I loved how Madonna used to dress; absolutely loved the movie “Desperately Seeking Susan”.

I was born in '67. I was a teen in the 80s. Our music was pretty awesome. But I love the classics from the 60s and 70s. I love the 90s and 2000s too. Lol grunge is great. Alternative. Im born in '71 and the 70s, I like the most. I was a teen in the 80s. OMG the hair in the 80s we still laugh about the 80s a lot. The fashion, make up colors, the hair. The 80s where wild. I was born in 68 and my favourite music is from the late 50's, 60's and 70's. Gotta love the shell suits aswell 😂😂😂 Wouldn't wear one now but back in the day they were so comfortable to wear 😀😀

I was born in 83 so I definitely remember those neon clothes it was soo popular in the late 80's early 90s! Loved the bright vibrant colors here! Wish you had done a black light shot at the end! They all looked fantastic to me! 🤗❤
I was little in the 70’s, graduated high school in 1987. The neons weren’t prevalent in school, but came in soon after. I’m really partial to 80’s hair bands! 😁

I was born in -79, and I was very much into neons as a kid. I had this neon hair spray you could spray patterns on your hair with using a stencil, and I think one was a lightning. And I had a neon yellow skirt with black polka dots. I love the results of these. I do that mistake with texts regularly, even though I know what will happen - so you're not alone on that! 😂
Yes I do. Lol. I had a few pieces of neon clothing myself…these were fun to watch including g the mishaps, brought nice memories from way back in day. 😂😂😂

Oh im loving that, i was a teenager in the late 80s and spent a lot of time as soon as i could drive at VW shows, neon absolutely everywhere,shorts,bikinis,cars,sunglasses ,it was all glowing lol. I still do VW stuff now as a middle aged fat bloke so Im definately getting some of those colours for my VW badge moulds

Claire if you use the tattoo without taking of the clear backing you can attach that to the resin the right way around done this myself when I forgot about the clear film lol happy little accident as bob ross would say.
LOL My neon was in the 50’s. My music was the 50’s and 60’s , the best music of all. If you remember Fabian, the singer, he had his school locker next to mine! No, I did not swoon.

In '72 I had a Chartreuse 💚(Neon Greenish) Bikini😮! It was called a String Bikini bottom and at that time it meant that the sides had laces to tie together😂. At least in Southern California it meant that.
You need some water slides like the tattoos so that they can go in either direction.❤ I was born in 1970, but I definitely remember the bright neons in high school and my early 20s. 💛🧡💚
Hi there. Thank you for all your videos. Love watching them. In regards to the 80s design (I can relate being born in 1966!!! lol), if you google Memphis or Memphis Group, you will find heaps of examples :) That is the name of that particular design style.
