Somewhat common in PVP. The bigger issue is that string can only be farmed from a single mob type with 5% chance, making them a nightmare to farm and quick to burn through, relegating those items fairly solely to dupe.

Same reason why i liked the greataxe moveset. The downward momentum slamming down into people like a pendulumn always exhilerated me

@@ashernoreen the greataxe has momentum? i know the greathammers do on some attacks like the R2s but don't the greataxes generally stays firmly in place? (just in case, by momentum i'm referring to how the shamshir and hand axe have your character move quite a bit as you keep attacking, you actually will have seen this used a lot in "no walking" challange runs in these games) also i'm asking genuinely, greataxe might be the one weapon type i pretty much never used, it's easily my most disliked weapon type alongside colossals...

@iota-09 In the final attack string in the greataxe- it has the player character struggling to lift it up for a bit but then create enough energy to slam it into the ground

with less damage and hyperarmour

@@Aurosteel ? No attack on the coded sword has HA tho iirc. (Maybe the weapon art but i'm not sure)

@@Aurosteel ah, yeah, but it should still do 133+ poise damage so it's fine, it's actually safer than the R2 in fact, making the straight swords act kinda like trusting swords, just need to press the crouch button, uh, a lot.

If I’m not mistaken-he would have been sent home because they started a boss fight. He was able to kill the host before that happened though.
