Me and ‪@brandonmolina711‬ decided to make the long drive to a Jetty very far from Houston, we knew the water was perfect and that the fish would be there. We went through a couple obstacles to get there but it was all worth it! We caught a ton of fish to take home and had lots of fun!! Couple of months ago at the jetty I made the mistake of putting my rod down to get the pliers out of my bag to unhook a small fish I caught - a croaker. I turned my back and a blue heron swooped in to take the fish. He dragged the fish and my rod towards the water. I saw my best rod and reel disappear into the depths of the gulf. Lesson learned !

Is the weather too hot to catch because I've been fishing many many days this last couple weeks and can't seem to catch a single trout at the Texas city dike with live shrimp and a popping cork ...please help I need to catch more fish and learn some spots because we eat these fish 😂

The fish have been in the surf, the texas city bite is pretty much over. Fish will be in the surf for the most part until the first cold front. They’ll go back into the bays and it will he better!
