These TROLL Levels Are Starting To Level Up... 

DGR: "Have you guys experienced deja vu before?" I feel like that's not the first time I've heard that question.

The whole checkpoint thing was explained in Carl Sagan's video of him playing this. Basically, when you grab the hidden Raccoon suit that you need in order to fly up to the "second checkpoint," you also grab CP2 which is hidden under the lava. If you look closely, the CP2 room where he spawns is the same, with the blue pipe and the breakable blocks that get destroyed by the boulder. The "second checkpoint" that he grabs *is* CP1, but he couldn't see that the flag was activated because he needed the Raccoon to fly up there and, by the time he got it, he also activated CP2 and deactivated CP1. When he dies after grabbing the raccoon without touching the other checkpoint, he respawns at CP2. The reason why it looks like it's two different rooms is that, if you notice, the CP1 room is covered in breakable blocks that at one point get blown up by explosions (presumably while he's in the room with the Monty Mole, as there's one seemingly random bomb that probably just exists to mask the sound of the other explosions) and reveal all of the platforms hidden by those blocks.

9:50 Hiccups happen when your lungs and your diaphragm a slightly off sync. The causes you to breath in suddenly sometimes because of this pressure it creates. There isn't a purpose, it's just kinda something that happens.

Hey Dave, I have a theory for the multiple checkpoints thing! So “CP1” was covered in breakable bricks and any time you got “CP2” it sent you back to “CP1”. I think that These are the same checkpoints but Symp pulls some voodoo magic with skewers or something to make them look the same. So when you die after you get the “2nd” checkpoint game puts you to back to the same checkpoint but the voodoo magic hasn’t happened yet so it looks like the “CP1” room. As for “CP3” , I think that was got when you get the raccoon suit out of the lava, that is actually you triggering the second checkpoint. And after you died you realized that “CP2” sent you back to “CP1” you avoided “CP2” which made it so when you die you get sent back to the raccoon checkpoint. I probably got something wrong here but I hope this makes it easier to understand

The second CP is actually the first one, the room was just blown by the bombs (This happens at 12:05). The second real checkpoint is in the lava(13:15) . You cp one yourself.

8:02 Hey Dave. I have tried every tactic to eliminating hiccups you can find on the internet at least 10 times. And only 1 worked: Get a glass of water and instead of drinking from the closest side (aka regularly), drink from the far side. This will require you to bend over the cup and sip the water basically upside down. 2 or 3 good gulps and your hiccups are gone. Period. DGR Guarantee.

I've experienced Deja vu before when I've been in a place before, that's usually higher on the street when it's my time to go. It also happens when I drift with my car for some reason. ;D

I'm blown away by the checkpoint insanely and the madness of this level

Last time I was this early, DGR was still "Dan Good Repairs".

How the checkpoints were the same and not same at the same time: The room where you get the 1st checkpoint is entirely made up from breakable blocks. When you are with the mole in the room at 12:03, he drops 20 big bombs to blow up the entire checkpoint area, everything is hidden behind the breakable blocks. You get the second checkpoint when you collect that tanuki tail before going into the blue pipe. So when you do go in the blue pipe, you already have checkpoint 2, but if you get the 1st checkpoint again then you'll have to repeat. It is an AMAZING troll!

The most interesting part about that level is that it shared aspects of previous troll levels, but with a new twist.

Hiccoughs happen when your diaphragm muscle spasms. When your diaphragm spasms the air is pushed out of your lungs when your larynx closes. Experts disagree with the purpose of hiccoughs many believe there isn't any (because any irritation to the nerves on the diaphragm causes it), but some think that it's the body's natural defense against irritations within the lungs (because it pumps the lungs when it spasms and happens when toxic fumes enter the lungs). To remedy hiccoughs, drink water quickly with your nostrils plugged, this does two things it constricts the lungs and expands the underside of the stomach, taking the pressure off the diaphragm. Hiccoughs happen when too much gas (air included) enters the lungs quickly, when you eat quickly you can get it or when you make a large enough gasp.

in case no one else has mentioned it, the way that CP1 works is the flag you hit is just the CP1 flag. you literally CP1 yourself thinking its the second checkpoint. on the screen before when you go down into the little pit and pick up the leaf you actually hit CP2. the reason the CP1 room looks so different is because the original CP1 room is covered in destructible blocks and that was all somehow destroyed before you got there, thus breaking all the scroll stops and revealing a bunch of mushroom platforms. the cannon is covering up the original door and the screen doesn't scroll up enough for you to see the two pipes over the original room. if you enter the room without going down the pit, the screen never scrolls high enough for you to see that you already have the checkpoint up there. look back at the footage, when you get the original CP1 you get a fire flower. meanwhile you get the leaf from collecting CP2. look at CP2 when you respawn there, there isn't a leaf power up and you go from small mario to the leaf so the leaf doesn't become the mushroom you get when respawning at CP2. pretty sure the original CP1 room is destroyed when you go to the room with the mole in the ceiling. you can see little bits of destructible block particles fly by when you enter, and the bomb breaking the ceiling blocks could be hiding the sound of the other room getting destroyed. . the engineering behind that whole set up is honestly incredible.

Here’s a little fact about hiccups: We hiccup if we eat/drink two fast. It has something to do with your stomach upsetting your diaphragm (the organ under your lungs) and it starts to collide with the lungs. Holding your breathe usually works because it makes your Diaphragm stop working, but I find breathing slowly helps better.

Seeing the CP1 Tech for a second time honestly made it make more sense I already saw it in another video, and now that I know that there's bombs under the mole room and everything, it just makes sense

I played that level myself and was as confused about the seemingly 3 CPs as you. But comparing screenshots of them, it's quite genius what he did: What you have first thought of as CP 2 was in fact CP 1 again. When you get to CP 1 the first time, the mushromm platforms are hid behing those breakable blocks. The actual CP 2 is where you got the Tanooki Mario. You couldn't see it then because it was hid by the lava. All in all probably the best troll level ever made.

Here is your science DGR. A hiccup is a muscle spasm of your diaphragm. When the diaphragm gets irrated usually by drink eating or sucking in to much air to quickly it cause its to spasm which becomes a hiccup.

I have a hiccup cure that almost always works. Step 1: chug the fizziest soda you have as fast as you can. Step 2: before the second hiccup, take your deepest breath. Step 3: don't cough or laugh to hard for the rest of the day.

What I’m wondering is how did the creator upload the level. Because it looks like you can only beat it from CP2

In fact, I think what looked like CP II was the same as CP I, it was just all the solid blocks that were broken when you came out of the blue pipe

I thought hiccups had something to do with flaps messing up and sending air to the wrong place or something like that, I could be wrong though 😅

I can explain the checkpoints: The fake second checkpoint is actually the first checkpoint. While you go through the level there are some offscreen bombs that destroy the area around the checkpoint. Semisolids like the mushroom platforms are hidden behind the brick blocks. That's how the room changes visually. The first version just gets blown up. Now the actual second checkpoint is hidden. You touch it at the same moment when you get the tanooki in the pit. The hint says "Do not Cp 1 yourself", because you hit the second checkpoint off-screen before you enter the room with the first checkpoint again. Only if you ignore the checkpoint after the hidden CP you will respawn there after dieing. Otherwise you reset the level to Cp 1.

My favorite way to get rid of hiccups is holding my nose and drinking water since holding my breath doesn't work and I'm hard to be scared.

I'm not a scientist nor doctor, but I do infact know that you when you receive the hiccups it's a signal that your breathing is unbalanced. So to get rid of the hiccup you'll have to fully focus on your breathing. Once you got the normal breathing rhythm settled the hiccups should be over. I've known this since I was 12 and I've never had problems with hiccups because I got rid of them straight away.

Apparently hiccups could be an evolutionary throwback to the fact our ancestors used to have gills. It's a similar action and similar brain signal to a fish breathing through gills. The best way to stop hiccuping is to "remind yourself you aren't a fish"

CP2 is where you get the get the Leaf in the lava. CP1 is a progressive powerup to a fire flower.

16:24 I think what could be happening is that when you grab the leaf in the lava, your actually hitting a checkpoint, and the ‘cp2’ is actually CP1, except the blocks wet blown up, making the room look different. Maybe it’s something like that

Sometimes i feel like I died and then my life is repeating itself. Like almost every major moment i feel like has happened to me before.

Fun fact about Deja Vu. The concept has for years been brought up in the debate if Parallel Universes actually exist or not. The reason why is because Deja Vu literally translates to ''Already Seen'' because possibly in another life taking present in a Parallel Universe you actually experienced the event which you claim gave you Deja Vu. And what makes this theory so interesting is that people never seem to be able to recall this past experience which is currently giving them Deja Vu. This is because in reality they never experienced it in the first place.

Some scientists think hiccups only serve a purpose in infant hood. Basically a hiccup travels through your body and that wave tells an infant's brain where neighboring organs are. Sci show just made an episode on this.

the cp1/2 thing explained you get cp1 it's a room with breakable bricks around you but under those bricks are mushroom platforms so after that you fall into that small lava pit and get cp2 that's also why you get the tanuki suit, you go back into the "fake cp2 room" that so called cp2 is actually cp1 but now there are mushroom platforms, and that is because right before that mushroom platforms room (fake cp2) you enter a small room with those bombs coming out of that green pipe while you are there, there's a bomb that explodes above you BUT the sound of that bomb masks the sound of the bombs going off beneath you and those bombs are exploding all the breakable block in the cp1 room so then if you later enter that room it's full of mushroom platforms, I hope I helped at least somebody edit: Carl's explanation ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tdGBLTDle1Q.html timestamp: 16:25

Swallow your spit or water and rub your temples has always cured my hiccups

The checkpoint you collected at 13:28 is CP 1, only the room is completely changed (hidden by the wood tiles at the time you see it for the first time). The second CP gets collected when you drop down in the hole to get the tanuki leave

Hiccups are a spasm of the diaphragm muscle. There’s no point; most of the time they’re only caused by swallowing and trying to breathe at the same time.
