After noticing Girls Band Cry and K-On! have songs in the same key in my previous video, I decided to look for more same key songs from anime about bands. I found that "Nameless Name" by TOGENASHI TOGEARI from Girls Band Cry and "Guitar, Loneliness and Blue Planet" by Kessoku Band from Bocchi the Rock! have the same key. Enjoy! 🎸

@@leocelestial Yep. They even I think used the same mocap/animation with some touch-ups to fit the show (Nina's rage-aura and the autograph on Momoka's guitar). It was a rerendering, which was kind of a neat bit to see for folks hwo had watched the video back when it premiered.

It could have easily become popular like Bocchi The Rock if Toei just make it available world wide, they both got good characters, good songs, and memorable moments. I remember those scenes when Nina flipped her middle fingers and Nina attacking the drunk guy easily got viral on Twitter but no one got to watch it properly. What a shame.

FYI Bocchi's music CD took 1st place in music sales on release, 1st place in BD sales in that year, and GBC also got on the ranking fairly high despite the godawful advertisement and overall management by Toei. (1st in BD, 7th in music for the highest one) The only reason it did not get popular oversea is Toei didn't release it oversea for some fucking reason, it's literally free money and they decided to not take it

I mean it does look pretty but just from the clip in this video, in the beginning at least. the energy the va puts into the song is no where near the energy the character has in the animation and it feels so unfitting 😭

man. I wish they both get a season 2, for bocchi I can see it happening considering the manga but the ending of girls band cry felt like it was meant to end there and that whatever happened after was already hinted at by, well, ironically the anime's opening, to me it felt like it hinted that one way or another they made their goal after fighting with diadust. these 2 anime made getting back into anime really fun for me, it was fun seeing someone fuse them together

I want 2 season….for both of them, they both are peak, Kessoku band maybe more rocky, but man, Togenashi Togeari have soul in their songs and energy of each other girl of band and I feel all of it, but I can’t say that Kessoku band doesn’t have it, it’s really hard to say who is better, I want crossover with them, even more, maybe a whole season😭😭😭 And the thing that the Girls Band Cry have THIS CGI is INSANE, they even synchronised fingers on instruments(at least drums 100%, about guitars I only seen time by time), so it’s definitely +1000000000 points to the Girls Band Cry

Just saying this as a musician, key doesn't really mean much. You can play a song at a different key very easily it will have the exact same feel (unless you like change the mode). You could find a billion songs with A major as the key, or G minor, its not special or anything. Then the only thing you need to mash them up is to find the V chord of that key and then move that into the Ɪ chord of the other song. You can mash up comfortably numb by pink floyd with fallen down by toby fox very easily. What I'm saying is it's very easy to find 2 songs with the same key and very easy to mash them up because of it, so having these 2 songs sharing the same key is probably more likely than you'd think.
