Bob and I went out on the river after Christmas to see what we could get to bite, and NOT to our surprise, we filled the boat with the slimy ones...theyre not that bad tho :)

If you can get past the bones they eat pretty good. A good soak in salt water and trim t red meat they are good table fare. Really good on the smoker too.

Nothing too terrible about catching carp,they fight well, and as evidenced, bite well.

Yeah I like em, I just hear so many people calling them trash fish and that you should kill em. Ugly to some beautiful to others.
