Jordan’s 1s are my favorite silhouette! I’m buying those soon as they drop! Love that color blocking! I’m so glad people are done with Jordan 1s! 3 years ago when the hyper royals and university blues dropped, couldn’t even touch a pair! Now that they are sitting, I’m copping every Jordan 1 I possibly can! I don’t think the whole dead thing gonna last long!
It’s just dependent on size. A 13 is $140, but once you add the fees it’s $172. If you’re buying these in my city after taxes on $182 is gone be about $192. $20 off which ehh, I’m not too worried about.

I just bought a pair under retail on eBay. Checked StockX this past weekend and they were going for as low as 110-115 for my size 12. As soon as these reviews started on these I noticed the price started to increase. Influence is definitely a factor but that should be the reason why you do anything, including buying sneakers. Now, the asking price is close to retail or slightly above. Don’t mind paying retail if I really like the sneakers but if I can grab em for less I will. I hope a lot of these shoes keep “sitting” because of the hypebeast machine. Leaves more sneakers for the people that just want the shoes because they like em not because of the influence.
It's crazy how nobody was complaining about sail midsoles on the Chicago 1 Lost and Founds 😂 Not even one mention of sail midsoles from anybody. These Midnight 1s are exactly like the Chicagos, same color blocking just replacing the red with navy, same sail midsole without the cracked leather on top. This is a perfect Jordan 1 colorway in my opinion...
That's cause the Chicago's are an og colorway and the lost and founds mimic if they were an og pair from 1985, so the aging/sail midsole makes sense. Same concept with the white cement 3 reimagined. Sail on these new navy 1s ruin an otherwise super clean colorway. Jordan is losing alot more customers than they think by putting a sail midsole on so many shoes. Prime example is the oxidized green 4s. The sail on that pair is barf worthy. 🤮

Sail midsole ruins it. It's a familiar story. Like why don't they just make it white? It boggles my mind. It's not like anyone would say "that white midsole ruins it" but people do say that about the sail. Jordan is losing alot more customers than they think with the ugly sail midsoles.
@WorkWorks85 same here. We must’ve bought from the same reseller. I wear the same size and bought mine yesterday for the same price. Love the color blocking and that blue with the sail midsole is a nice touch. Some of these so called sneakerheads are like herds of sheep. Wear what you like not what they like.

J1s will always be my favorite. If folks don't recognize, then that's better for me bc it's an easy pick up. Got these on GOAT for such a low price, even with shipping and tax, I saved money LOL! So I'm fine with it. The quality is so nice. I wish it came with another set of laces. I will probably pick up another pair to have on hand when they go on sale.

One thing I definitely have to say about the black toe reimagined, they're going to flop just like the royals did. The only Jordan ones that everybody's waiting for are the Jordan 1 Chicago 85 cut high and the Jordan 1 bred 85 cut high because those are actually true to the original for those OG sneakerheads like myself who really been wanting these ever since they were kids. I'm hoping and praying that those two shoes end up bricking and are in high quantity up to the 100 to 120,000 pair range, but knowing most sneakerheads and scab resellers they're going to end up instantly botting on the day of release for any black and red and white colorways.

That color scheme came out for the golf 1's a while ago. Most people don't get the golf editions but they're pretty nice. It just has a different sole and the emblem says golf but other than that they're still 1's. They do cost a little more but if you're buying J's, $20 shouldn't stop you from getting them.
These are well under retail. I ordered my pair. They are clean and people are sleeping on them. I love them! Nike makes tons of clothing to match them so that makes things even better!
Jordan 1’s are alive. It’s the Jordan 1 “RESELL” in his words has fallen off or dead. I’m currently buying those ‘85 Jordan 1s esp those released this year and have saved tons of money buying on sale. What a time to be alive snekaerhead. 😊

Jordan 1s aren’t dead. They will also for SURE come back. I’m not a fan of this color way, the quality doesn’t seem to be there either. Mass production + a LOT of resellers pulling out of sneakers in general is what “tanked” the market. If 10 sellers who have hundreds if not thousands of the same colorway all sell their stocks at the same time, the supply will beat the demand and that leads to 📉 Same shit happens in stock market. The whales build the hype and then unannounced sell all their shares - leaving the small fish with the bag.

Not really. Few years ago when market was rocking they released many bad colorways that sold out. Economy is holding people back from buying like they were few years ago. Pick and choose releases now
