Realised I was dumb and forgot to restart my game for the Shader Quality setting! The recommendation still stands, keep it on low. the FPS Boost is too good and camps still look absolutely fine 👍 Be sure to Subscribe if you haven't already! 😀
I still recommend that if you want the Max FPS you should turn fidelity off. However because I make content, I need the sharpness alongside the NVIDIA sharpening to really clear up the image, even if it lowers my FPS.
So i have been enjoying your videos and i appreciate the effort you have taken to make them, and I have been trying to get a decent balance between quality and fps using them. I currently run a self built Intel i9 9900K, 2X16GB Corsair (3200Mhz), Nvidia 3080Ti FE Gfx Card on an MSI Z390 gaming pro carbon MotherBoard and a Dell Alienware 38" AW3821DW Monitor. I have messed about over and over, and eventually today, decided to turn EVERYTHING UP to Ultra, Turn off any Upscalling....AND......... The game looks stunning, and plays well at around 130-145 FPS buttery smooth! I am not posting this to boast, but more at the fact, that i have spent many many hours, trying to "optimize" my system, just to find out it plays the game beautifully at MAX Settings! I have noticed this in the past, that the harder i push the Nvidia Card, it would seem the better it works. My previous card "Nvidia 1080 TI GTX" which worked the same! Harder is better! Try it!
2:16 I figured out that, the weird dots that appear inside buildings are effected by "spot shadow" option. I highly recommend you turn this setting high! hope this helps
@FourEyes Hey Bro, i'll help you out, with this water quality things, beacuse how i see you are a bit confused with this. So the first thing if you wanna see a nice water quality is not about the "Water Caustics" or the "Deferred Physics Quality". First you need to turn Sharder quality at least to medium or high, then you need to turn SSR also at least to Normal, if theese two settings are ready. then you can start to check out the water quality, and the differences with "Water Caustics" or the "Deferred Physics Quality". My Reccommendation is: - Sharder quality: Medium (After apply, game restart needed) - SSR: Normal - Deferred Physics Quality : Low - Water Caustics: On With this combination you will get a nice looking water, but you get a decent FPS Too. If you turn shader quality low and ssr off, then the water will look like in Half Life 2, Its just TERRIBLE :D No way to see this water quality in 2023 :D (Even on PS5 or on Xbox has Warzone better water quality, what a shame for a PC User) I have Ryzen 5900x + RTX3080Ti, around the water i get 100-110Fps, anywhere else 130-145. So yes the water will drop your fps, but with my recommendation is worthed, beacuse the water will look 5 times better.
Can someone help me out to understand as im not a massive pro in pc but i have 16gb of ram but on my game it says 8gb of vram to 24gb thats shown in this video is this using just the graphic’s card ram or the whole pc or is there a way of changing it to use all gb of the ram i have
I have watch all your settings videos. tried different combinations to gain maximum FPS while still have a decent looking game. however, no matter how much i put on low or very low i do not get any FPS improvements. even did you Fidelity CAS trick and nothing. The only thing that makes a noticeable difference is turning fidelity cas off. other than that. I read comments with people having lower end builds compared to mine and still pumping out 20 to 40 more fps than me.. even done some minor overclocking but still no difference.. System: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G with Radeon graphics 3.90ghz, RTX 3060ti 8GB and total 16GB RAM = 100 fps in warzone 2 any input and ideas are welcome. thank you
@@timmypowers5926 I did that and to be honest the game looks better with upscaling off and FPS is also higher when off. i do get improvements in multiplayer but im playing warzone mainly
For In-game stability in Warzone you do need to have 32GB of Ram. When I upgraded my Ram over the holidays I noticed the game went from stuttering in menu and slow loading assets, to now everything runs and loads much smoother.
Anyone notice the Terrain Memory isnt set? Even in the video it's not set. I believe an update back in mid Dec. messed it up. Not sure what effect it is having by it not being set. Even if you set it to min or max, it just resets to being blank again.
@@o0junglist0o93 if I use my mouse to change it it allows me to change it but as soon as I save it, back out of settings at all then go back into settings it reverts back to blank. Using a controller to attempt to select Terrain Memory and open the drop down menu just backs me out of settings immediately. This happens both in the default location AND if you put Terrain Memory option in your favorites so I haven’t found a workaround and neither has anyone… I’m guessing they either disabled it temporarily, it isn’t displaying properly or it’s a glitch.
Anyone that says "it's your hardware bro" is a dunce when it comes to this game. It has deeper problems tied to the engine especially since this game came out on PS4 and the og Xbox one, meaning the same weird hitches even if you got a supercomputer.
I realy wish theyd give us the option to save graphics settings for different purposes. Like have a low setting for MP and a shiny setting for campaign. Its tedious to set things up if ur switching between those two.. If only i could use a notepad file to swap settings instantly, copy here overwrite yes, done, thatd be gold.
@@iJulioRocha I believe it is under program filesx86 there are seperate settings it will be titled options.cod/BR, options.cod/MP, options.cod/DMZ. Open it up and manually change the settings for each one there is one for campaign as well. Make sure to save it also have to uncheck the box for file read only before trying to save it, then re check the box after
bro i have a 3070ti with a i7 9700k cpu my fps are ok like 120 140 some times but the 99%fps on geforce drops down to 30 and even lower sometimes this cause lag and i cant enjoy the game what can i do?
Thank you @FourEyes ...this actually did help me with my old PC setup. The FPS was hovering around low 50s, but now I am getting into the mid 90s. Greatly appreciate it. GTX 1080 w/i7 4790K
Have you tried going into notepad and changing water caustics to high quality, when caustics are on they automatically come in at low. Turning them high allows you to see through the water and people without needing to ping them.
Thanks @FourEyes!! I love your content! You explain why we should change the settings. So many other just ramble through it so quickly that I can barely keep up. Keep up the great work!
I have a 1660 and literally this game won’t be playable if it wasn’t for this guy thank you ! I use to average like 30 fps on multiplayer now i average about 45-50 on multiplayer and for warzone I use to average about 15-20 now a smooth 35fps cause of him thank u man
Hello, first vid i watch and i loved it. well done, amazing presentation and straight into the theme. I would like to know all your video settings, from res to quality and detail, your game feels smooth and beautiful. And what GPU and CPU you have? I have a i5 12400F and a Nvidea RTX 3060Ti and can't find my settings. Thanks!
@FourEyes one vote here for another video with DLSS. I’m running DLSS in Quality with a 4080 and 5950x. As my monitor has 160, I’m playing caped to that frequency , and with all settings in ultra it never low from 160 FPS. I use all your settings for the Nvidia Control Panel but I use DLSS instead of CAS. Thanks!

hey man i figured out that particle quality also affect the lasers in this game for example it makes the green laser more jagged and looks less transparent just a little nit pick also the muzzle flash looks pixelated
I play on ultra wide screen 21:9 1440p with i7 13700k and 4090 and get stable 165fps everywhere. ALl settings max apart from shadows, volumetric light, deferred physics. Shaders on high, textures high, ambient occlusion ultra etc
So at 1080p I was getting about 60fps. At 1440p im now about 55gps. With that said, at 1440p I find that I can actually SEE better. My computer is a 970gtx potato.
Nice buddy, will try this new one at night... Im with 32gb DDR5, i9-12900k. Gigabyte 3080ti Vision OC, and getting only 140 to 160fps... Justo dont know that to do anymore...
Ambient occlusion is another killer. it adds depth to shadows in between objects which makes it harder to see people hiding and also takes around 10 fps.
Soz mate. You kinda lost me at filmic t2x. It’s hard on fps especially low end rigs and makes things too blurry. I used to use it but once I got used to standard SMAA I can’t go back The trade off for the weird spots isn’t worth the loss in clarity and frames. Try standard SMAA 2x, AA on normal and lower CAS to around 40. As someone else said by turning up spot shadows it clears up the spots. Worked for me in DMZ where I got the worst spots.
Particle quality also affect tracer, at low it kinda BIG, blocky and somewhat blurry in some cases, the tracer is blocking my view when firing people at long range it noticable fps improvement, but i feel it occasionaly make my aim worse
Thanks for all the settings help! It has really helped overall and you are my go to settings guru. Can you do a video for best streamlabs settings? After I messed with my settings, I notice my FPS in streamlabs has gone down. Either way, great content!
Dude! You're an absolute legend! I actually dont use Streamlabs and would recommend no one does. Just stick to OBS in general. I can do a full settings breakdown on that if people are interested.
I have a 4090 on 11900k , I am CPU limited and find that Anti-aliasing Ultra vs high or low doesn't change my fps at all (which is surprising). I always thought Anti-aliasing takes up more CPU processing power.
my rx 6800 is similar to the 3080, on mid to low i can easily get over 220fps @1440p. Make sure you have your nvidia settings tuned right so the card gets all the power(see youtube videos) , play in exclusive full screen. Also make sure to set COD.exe and any other cod folder to High performance mode in graphics settings. Double check your render count for the cpu and gpu (youtube videos).
i had to comment you are the man and thank you . i recently bought a 4080 and my game was running like shi* at 30-60fps with your help i got to 150 theres probably things i can do to get higher but its running smooth i just want my 1500 dollars worth of performance and you have me on the right track
Have no idea what going on with the game at min have a Ryzen 9 3900 xt and 3070 and over the last mth or so my fps has really dropped no matter what setting I use
Particle quality should be high. The difference is huge for a minimal fps cost. With particle quality on low, you would sometimes see square pixelated particles. The thing that´s giving you that 8% is the particle quality level, which is very low. With low, normal, and high having almost identical performance. Your gold camo is looking the same because you need to restart the game.
That video was explaining a way to sharpen your game without the FPS loss of FXCas. I currently use both FXCas and Nvidia sharpening for "double sharpening", however I don't recommend that unless you have a strong build and are willing to give up fps
Fps means nothing in my experience with gameplay , I’ve been testing for months and it’s only now I followed activisions setting recommendations on there website even though it’s dropped me at least 50-80 fps it just feels smooth and no stutter
Realised this straight after I edited the video! My Mistake. If you found this content useful, then please consider Subscribing! I'm pushing for 100K this year so every sub helps😊
i5 10400 rtx 3060 12gb 2666mhz ram dual 8+8 650w 80+ Gold 1080p 165hz Monitor Can anyone help why mw2 uses 40-50% gpu and 70-80% cpu ? Tried Extreme to Minimum still same 🤷 i have unstable fps, 60-80 then suddenly 100-120 then goes back again to 50-60. Or this game is just totally not optimized and fucked up. I also realized that mw2 is the only game with settings that is so confusing.
7:48 lol when you try and show something but it literally says "This setting requires a REBOOT of the game to take effect. lol no wonder it didn't change
this the first time I saw a very detailed video. Thanks for this wonderful and helpful guide however none of this work…. I quit playing this total bs game
FourEyes, seriously stop it with the shader example you give. It requires the game to be restarted to take effect, nothing is changing in your example.
@FourEyes no it doesn't. Every other day you're making a change this setting video. Just make 1 setting video. The game is not being updated much for new settings to be implemented. Cod is garbage lmao. Yo act like there's new settings everyday to change is a joke and borderline click bait
Y’all are miss lead. It’s not all about the max fps… max fps doesn’t make you better. You need quality. Settings. Setting All these to low doesn’t improve your gameplay…
