Get real bro . Imagination yea , taking something and making it with my spin on it , sorry you lack imagination bro . What’s the problem ??? Imagination in life , work , craft , hobby .
I Love You, You Big Ole Bearded Viking!! Watching you is such an inspiration and the DANCE MOVES are AWESOME!!! God Bless you and your journey!! THANKS FOR YOR CONTENT!
I thought 40 was getting a bit rough. 33 years later...I think 40 was easy. lol. Glad you stayed the course. Life can knock us down but what's important is getting back up every time and punch back.
I got 3 boys under 9 years old and we do simple wood working projects to sell at the markets. We recently found your channel and your “Addadabaglue” and “put a brad in its a$$” has become a staple in our work shop, so thank you haha I love your story and has been an inspiration. May God continue to Bless you Brother! Keep up the great content
Not a chance in hell; but, if it wasn't for spider eviction, fixing-things and the moving of heavy objects, my value is limited apparently! ;) At 54, I still manage life without naps, but I sense them coming over the horizon...
I stumbled across your channel on 08-01-24 and fell in love with it. Your channel and comments and projects are so so much fun. You have made me want to be better and with some of your tips I have improved. I started in 2015 but just now getting the hang of it. Thank you so so much
Hey , wow to hear this from one of my viewers just warms my heart ! ❤️ thank you so much and I’m very happy to have you along for this journey , and always remember , “ you don’t have to be great to start , but you have to start to be great ! “ never give up
Love the story bro. We forge our own path in life and we all have a destiny. We can only be true to our self and our path in life. Thank you for being you
Amazing stuff comes from challenge, great channel Dan, I took wood shop in school, never learned then , but you are an excellent teacher Dan, thank you very much🙏
Enjoying the videos brotha, I also live near the water. I live on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and live near the Chesapeake Bay. Nothing like being in the country and having your own privacy. We also have friends over and eat a lot of oysters and blue crabs. Thanks for the story and all the wood working videos. I really enjoy making stuff with wood and it's cool to watch others with the same passion and learn from one another. Take Care and keep doing what your doing brotha.
Hey bro ! Thanks so much for the kind words , that means a lot , I super happy to hear you’re enjoying the content . Happy to have you along for the journey , Skål 🫡
This vid really gave me some inspiration Daniel. My path will be somewhat similar to yours. I'm a bit older than you at 59. I'll be moving from metro Atlanta in about a year, where I've lived for almost 20 years with my late wife. I met someone about a year ago and am now getting married again. She lives in the North Georgia mountains in an area that also has no rules or regs. I'll be leaving a career in building engineering I've been at for 30 years and doing what I love. Wood working. I also want chickens. HA The COVID years really opened my eyes man. Our lives aren't forever, so we better get to living.

@@CameronKaiser-d3j wow brother , I really appreciate your comment . I love to hear that you have your 3 boys woodworking with you , that time in the shop with Dad will be memorable and inspiring to them , especially being with dad . You’re an absolute rock star 💫, stay in touch and keep making sawdust . Skål 🫡 tell the boys I said Skål 🫡
@@Bearded-Viking-WoodWorks Howdy my bearded Viking friend. Actually, you did a great TZone spoof in the beginning on that virus, and all you needed to show tons of pigs and birds being slaughtered because of it, to add more drama. 🤔 I think if you sigh and breathe heavily in between the narratives, you would give Alfred H, a run for his money (though you are younger and slimmer). On the misses, I am in love (platonically speaking) with that snake charming hunter wife of yours. That was awesome, and always make sure to stay on her good side, and if she brings out that snake rod and there are no snakes are around, run! 🏃😂 Or stand there meekly and take your punishment, I mean what else can she use that snake rod for? 🤫 Always enjoy your content, as I subbed by the 2nd vid of yours I watched. From one pallet/wood diver to another, keep on rocking my friend. Cheers.
8-13-24 Just found you today. I really enjoyed your video. I’m a 67 yo female that recently found my passion in woodworking. Your videos are great! You taking the time to explain things slowly will help me out a lot! Thanks Daniel!
My 115lb 4'10 Mrs has a 12 Guage that I cut the stock down on to fit her. With that she does battle with snakes that attempt to dine on our eggs and chickens. She's a true Viking :D
Wow this is the video I needed. I just turned 40 and am learning wood working for the first time in life. Your videos have been so great but this video really gave me the confidence to keep at it. Thank you for sharing your story. You have a natural story telling ability.
Thanks my friend , I really appreciate the feedback . Keep at it and you’ll reach success . Also , I’m happy to have ya along for the journey my friend , Skål 🫡
@Bearded-Viking-WoodWorks I love that!! Nobody ever got anywhere just thinking about being great, it takes a little elbow grease. And we learn more from the ideas that don't pan out perfectly than we do from perfection.
@@Bearded-Viking-WoodWorks as I was watching that video I thought man those slats on that old louvre door in my shop would be perfect for lighting project
Thank you for another fantastic video!!! You should have a movie about your life. Very inspiring!! My wife would not catch a snake release a snake anything to do with snakes!!! Love the content yes a little different but love it. Keep them coming!!! Thank you Daniel!!! BVW
Wait to you hit 50 then. Life is not that bad. I have my wife, son, daughter in law and of course the best of everyone my grandson that keeps me going.
Great video as always and we all have obstacles and not everyone can overcome them but glad everything worked out for you! The creativity is real and that chandelier proves it lol.
Great video, brother. We'd be moving if my wife saw or knew a snake was on our property. I don't mind them, and when I worked patrol, I scooted them off the roads so they didn't run over. I have a few solar lights with broken posts that I was thinking of repurposing to lanterns or some other light fixture. Thanks for sharing some your background story. Be well, and God Bless.
Had to watch it twice to get all the info, inspiration, and ideas! You really put a lot into this one. Great editing. I'm sure glad Mrs. Viking took care of those snakes for you! LOL. I liked both of the lamps. Got a great idea on how to change the little one, to put my spin on it. That garden bench is incredible! One of these days, I'll get my hands on a big chuck of wood like that!
My wife is totally down. She’s always working on something whatever it may be just like me lol. This video was awesome! You and wifey make quite the team! Two Badass Rockstars bro!
Worked my ass off to buy this place ! I rented here for 13 years and asked my wife and kids one day if they wanted to move or buy and we all agreed on buy. Thanks Rum
Daniel…..wow your story is soooo similar to mine… pandemic driving me nuts lost most of my business ( a bounce house rental co ) my dad passed away the year before the plandemic and he had planed on having a wood working shop for his retirement fun and never got to.So i got a lathe off craigs list and taught myself to turn. Then got into resin and cool cutting boards and what ever my mind could dream up. Started doing craft fairs saved every dime I made as I was working out of a 8x8 plastic shed with an extension cord! And am finally almost done building my dream shop 630 sqr ft so I can start making furniture and bigger fun stuff. And ya tell your wife she is a rock star for wrangling that snake! Where we live also in the country inSan Diego we have rattle snakes! My wife is the first one to grab the shovel and take care of business! Lol and I totally love your geese…..thank you for sharing
Awesome video man. Actually watched it twice ❤️ oh and your question about the snake. My wife and daughter would grab it with no problem. We used to breed snakes. Whole family loves snakes and all animals. Keep the videos coming man. #ROCKSTAR
Daniel, awesome video sir! 🎉🎉🎉 I look forward to your videos all the time. Can’t wait to see your next “Stuck on Sawdust” video. I watch them and then I try and replicate what you just did. I ain’t the beast woodworker around but I think I hold mine own and I learn more from you videos than anywhere else. Also you are blessed to be leaving out in the country. I unfortunately live in a crappy hoa. So I am very jealous of your homestead 😛😛. Thanks for all the videos that you do, they are the best.
Man Brotha what a great video job well done and love the squeals when you have the wifey take the snake lol great video to watch love the jigs to help make great projects
Again you're authenticity, humility and true down to earth determination excell! Thanks for inspiring us who still care about this craft. Just came back from a museum tour, looking at handtools from the 1600"s AND some of the craftsmanship. Man, are we spoiled!
Awesome Video! Mrs Viking 🙌🏼 You Are A Badass RockStar! 🔥💜🔥 Daniel def Worth the wait. Knocked it out of the park ⚾ Love all the different projects, the story and brought it home with the detailed build at the end BOOM 💥🤘🏼😎🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
@@Bearded-Viking-WoodWorks I started making some sawdust yesterday 🤗💪🏼🙌🏼 Thanks for being you D. You have no idea how much you and the Gang have helped me. God Bless Y'all 🔥💜🔥 Shared a little vid in the group too 😉
Nice job brother some those look amazing. The light spiral looks amazing. Hope your all good. Mrs viking is proper animal wrangler 😮🏴 mine would have but only with me about.
Hey, Daniel, that bandsaw jig is pretty clever. Your laser cutter is an S1 from Xtool, right? If you're going to make a ton of those lamps you might be able to cut the bases and tops of those with the laser cutter and streamline your process a bit. You could also have the laser cut those vertical strips with a nice profile on the outside. You could also just engrave a design on each of those slats as another alternative to glow it up. Guess I need to get off my butt and order a laser cutter. Had a thought on the bandsaw jig. You could have multiple slots for the saw blade and one center pin so you can use it for circles of different sizes. Probably the better option would be to have multiple holes in a row and have the metal pin on the circle that turns the work instead of on the main board. Thanks for another inspirational video!
My wife will tackle small snakes, but we sometimes get one a bit bigger - the biggest so far was over 2 metres long and fat enough that you couldn’t get both hands around it. Luckily they tend to be more afraid of us than we are of them and they slither away . . . but I often wonder where they go to and when/if they might come back. Luckily “our” big snakes are not poisonous, nor really aggressive, so we just kind of live with them.
Just want to throw this out there, youd be perfect for an Aquaman sequel, it would be about you and the origin of norse gods, youd be Aquamans Jason Mamoas long lost lineage, it would be great.
I really enjoy your videos and the story telling. The spin you put on these videos along with the humor makes you an original. No wonder you're a success. Looking forward to seeing what's next.
Damn brother! Just WOW 😯 Great video and worth the wait! Awesome new ideas and great editing!!! But we must be on a similar wavelength or something crazy like that. I stopped editing my first video to watch this, and some beach you're telling a story like me! 😂 Hope nobody thinks I'm a copycat 🥴
No body will brother ! Although 2 stories can be alike they can’t be a copy cat ‘ I’m patiently waiting on your success ! As I can say with certainty it’s wel on the way ‘ now edit that damn video !! lol Skål 🍻
Brother my wife kids and I used to get calls from our neighbors any time they seen a snake. We had to go catch them and take them back to the woods. Wife hated spiders but loved snakes. We have 2 ball pythons that just turned 29 years old. Lmao
@@Bearded-Viking-WoodWorks Daniel I didn't think they lived that long either. I Lost my wife to Cancer going on 8 years ago this Christmas. Your videos these people and woodworking is what brought me out of my depression. It got me back into living again.. love your videos bro.
Number one woodworking Channel on RU-vid 💯 Congratulations on the growth of your channel. Awesome video, thanks for the inspiration 👍 Keep it up brother 💪
Love it! Why not get a cheap transformer and run a 12v light? Brighter and in my opinion nicer. The wire doesn’t need to be deep, even in the snowy areas.
Awesome video Daniel, always look forward to your new projects! You are blessed sir Amber is an amazing Lady that’s for sure. My better half always yells if there is a bug or a spider in her eyesight 😊 As your videos progress so does your creativity and we are fortunate to be following you along on your journey. Your talent and humor is definitely what, that has created an amazing community and following, thank you for sharing another little piece of your story👍 Take care, Wayne
I'd say it entirely depends on the snake. Might not want to touch it if I think it's going to send me to the hospital or worse. And same if I can't tell what kind it is. lol
Enjoyed most of it as I didn’t know your growth. Good on you. I will say that your going have an issue selling the last project in most settings unless maybe video or personal and not a trade show. Still love the idea and concept. Just harder to make people watch a video that don’t normally do it. I understand that I do as I am commenting and subscribed. Just harder
Thanks for the great Video! I was in a slump but just started back with wood working. I work from a small shed & my table saw is outdoors. Building a deck with a roof beside the shed for it. I hope to get a house soon with a garage. see you in the chats
