If you see thesis , he playing short round because he knew that issei already do powermove too much and he knew that issei too exhausted as you can see that battle tactics so good
I dont think it was a tactical move at all. Thesis was simply out of breath too - at 3.05 you can see him make a sign to his friends on the left side that he's out of breath. And when you think about it, why would Thesis sabotage his own rounds by making them shorter just based on the possibility that issei MIGHT crash in his set due to his tiredness...
Well, shorter rounds do seem to affect the judges opinion in a negative way, so one could say that he's sabotaging or damaging his own rounds by keeping it short. Thesis is "expressing" or battling to win, so it seems like an ineffective tactic to shorten his rounds, dont you think?

Y'all are complaining so much about thesis' antics. That's battle tactics. He did it to get in issei's head. In the end it's all respect. He wasn't even interrupting anything..
Thesis isn't half as bad as others like Soso, but its not battle tactics when you start clowning during the other person's set. It gets too far a lot of the times with the French bboys ...
seymourglass26 just because he's successful, and yes Thesis earned that win fairly!, doesn't mean he shouldn't act properly. Case in point: Lilou. Lilou doesn't interrupt, he was using gravity's tactic against gravity - but he got disqualified, when he's used that move successfully and walked away with no issue. Its not even about touching at this point, its a matter of not interrupting someone else's set. And its pathetic that you think that's okay.. Look at Roxrite, or Victor.. or the rest of the all stars- NONE of them resort to those tactics..

Shade's Archives he was going through a lot of shit in his life before winning this jam. He was emotional yo, this meant a lot to him so let him enjoy it. It was in the moment. He still gave issei props but he really wanted to celebrate with his boys and his mom because they knew.
Yeahh Issie ran out of moves He is good but His Move is so difficulty Than thesis Thesis is always on the floor he never crash Thesis moves. I love it but So lucky Issie is also best but He needs to make too many moves for himself unique original Like Bboy hong 10 , etc

thesis dope as always, but if he would met issei in the first round...then maybe he would get smoked by issei....thesis act in this battle a little bit like lil kev....jumping and fooling around

Issei only 18.. I think he lose because exhausted(but he win for me anyway lol), his style need lot of energy. When his age is over 20, I think he will getting more success on this kind of battle and beat every one. I prefer Issei dance no just for winning but dancing for love
Holy crap! If Issei is only 18 he could be growing still. That takes a TREMENDOUS amount of energy causing constant fatigue. Once he gets into his 20's he will be owning everyone for a long time I am sure. He is awesome.
i know thesis appeared to be a jerk in this but he played this super smart. He saw how much energy issei put in the first round and kept his rounds short so issei would tire out (since issei is younger, he has better stamina). smart stuff and it got him the win
Never seen Issei so tired. But i honestly wouldn't have given it to Thesis. I actually like thesis's style better than Issei's, but his sets were very short compared to what he usually can do and does during battles. I can only see issei for losing is because of his repeats and he did lack the energy. Thesis had energy and control, but that's only because he didn't do much when it was his turn to respond to Issei on his last 2 sets. His moves were just like little teasers of what he can do and that was it. He got one burn, but i honestly think that he shouldn't have won since he didn't out dance Issei. Issei did his thing and executed his moves till the end. Thesis looked like he was stopping midway so he wouldn't get called out on repeats...but props to both bboys. Props to Thesis for winning.
seymourglass26 watch again you, moron. Is easy to see that Issei won 2 rounds to 1. He points straight the decision because he knows that is the same that last year, he always was the second. And more in USA with a USA bboy and with more judges from USA.
thesis kept it short and sweet when he did well for the first round and saw issei running out of breath. He made his rounds shorts while issei ran out of breath and messed a little. Tactical decision made by thesis and chill with the name calling alright dude. Its just an gentle opinion, aint needing that namecall to seymour
watching this again the next day, even tho i think thesis played the battle smart, you gotta give issei props for being tired as fck and still doing those sets lmao
I WILL SAY IT LAST TIME. Issei is becoming popular because he is a crowd pleaser, but originality goes out the window when he gets down. real recognizes real, and i have to admit he is clean, but until certain level.
I'm not hating, I was actually rooting for him to win. I only said that because he got 2nd place a lot last year and I don't want that to continue. He has the talent to realistically win all of his competition.

This is a USA event . So you'd probably knew who would won. 🙃 winner should be decided by seeing the whole event no one shout once in thesis rounds. But the crowd gone crazy just because of issie in this whole event. Breaking battles are so robbed.

Thesis def won the battle but Issei has all the highlights. Thesis had an easy bracket again, just like the year he beat Niek who was killing it every round up until finals.
GUYS you can't say Issei won on this battle, he looks tired (reaching final is fuckin difficult) and he repeats a lot (powermoves, halo...). Thesis has much variety of moves. BUT I've also noticed that Thesis act like pretty agressive and lil bit fool since 1 year or more... It's sad because he used to always give respect, but still one my favorite Bboy ever
