17:00 "there should be no colors in cars just metal" people start laughing and 6 years later Elon just made the first stainless steel car "Cybertruck" kanye is really 6years ahead
This was a brilliant interview. One of the best Kanye interviews I have seen in a while. I truly believe Kanye has the ability and genius to do everything he says he wants to, and this was a truly powerful platform for him to express himself truly.
This should have millions of views! Why don't the masses view this subject, and join the conversation? We spend too much energy idolizing the entertainment side more than the intelligent, and intellectual side of the celebrity! This was amazing!
kanye west no matter what you think is out here connecting with the ppl from different industries to change the social landscape of life, which is his dream. So before you waste your precious time and send hate through social media, think about your dreams and aspirations; and collab with the ppl to make them come to fruition. Kanye to me is the most truthful person on the planet, he doesn't care what some fat kid behind a keyboard is going to say, because that kid isn't making the world better, he being fat and sending hate through social outlets. Peace Love, Dope Shit!
Guy in the middle is real! Nice to see someone acknowledge Kanye's hard work and talent! You know all that praise from all the speakers were feeding his ego though ;)
wow...can i just say that this moderator is so good at her job? She's playing into their egos just so far as she stimulates their comfort levels but without brown-nosing. Stephanie Ruhle ya'll.
brilliant interview. this is a complete educational interview from kanye, unlike the other radio interview. im gonna be honest, and i know most of yall need to this too, ill have to replay this video about 2-3 times to understand fully about everything they're saying.
I feel like this woman is not understanding half of what Kanye is saying. His profound statements are followed by her directing a question to someone else. Thank God Ben is there.
Parsing through the top comments, the concentration of the Cannes forum has yet to be discussed by viewers, as they cannot appreciate the significance and context of the discussion. The idea that people are dismissive of ideas that are not [easily] obvious to them is sequential to the landmark nature of product success: brilliant symphony, like a brilliant idea, is novel yet familiar. It's the attribute of design that propels, as we've experienced in Apple.
i love kanye and most of what he says but am still a little un-easy with his thinking of having everyone at the same taste level. who is to say one thing is more or less tasteful than the other, every person has their own individual opinion of what they like and it is what makes the world interesting. for me a homogenised world where everyone walks around with apple style products and dress to a 'tasteful' level would be rather dull. but maybe i'm misunderstanding him
There's some variation and subjective thought behind taste level, but there's a defined line of what is good design and what isn't. I believe he's talking about it in a design sense
Can u imagine? Someone who wants the world to become a better place, PEOPLE are hating for no apparent reason. Kenya loves people.white black, espanic, asian .He loves everyone.wake up folks, listen to him instead of bashing him.
Very miniscule but a possibly telling detail: The power point at the 1:36 to 1:55 mark showed the names "STEVE STOUTE" and "BEN HOROWITZ", then below it had "With Kanye West", Kanye's name in a smaller font. Not trying to nitpick, but doesn't that seem weird? If anyone knows of a specific reason why they did that, I am curious. Other than that great talk.
Because those two are professionals in the industries they are talking about crossing. Tech and cultural advertising. And Kanye isn't a professional but preaches the same values. The people who bought tickets to the panel were probably more excited to see the other two over Kanye.
In my opinion. They might have got their facts wrong. In terms of Telecommunication, Apple's mobile sector has a lower flagship (in term of hardware and performance) than Samsung's products. For example the iPhone 5s has the same flagship hardware as a 2012 Samsung phone. Kanye's comment and his approach is appropriate. But Michael angelo wanted to be a painter and was a painter but was forced to carve sculpture.
If you use the appropriate software such as geek bench, for example, to test the benchmarks of Samsung Galaxy S5 and iPhone 5S, in speed and performance, you'll find that the iPhone 5S outperforms the Samsung Galaxy S5; Samsung's 2014 device vs Apple's 2013 release. This is not a biased statement either. I own both devices. But I use my Galaxy S5 more because it has a far better battery than the iPhone so it doesn't fail me during long days with no charging source. The only issue is "bloatware" software (useless apps by samsung).
24:00 umm because branding and advertising evolved ET was the footage movie or tv that used product placement and that was like 1986 !!! Hmmm 🤔 kinda aligns with run dmc and the adidas or whatever NOT HIPHOP BUT AD CAMPAIGNING
Instagram does need a revamp! I'm tired of staring at WHITE screens. (VISUAL comfort) Google Chrome changed their interface (on Android phones) from grey to WHITE. IG is fucking bland man!!! I love that Twitter has a "DARK MODE." RU-vid has a Dark Mode. Instagram's aesthetic STINKS!
