@T90Official - Ages of Empires 2 33:04 Saymyname could hv used these trebs and crossbowmen to attack TheViper from behind while using the main army guarding the castle to attack from the front. Hvn't played Ages of Empires for like ages and years so I hope what I hv said might be effective and efficient. Hope you would reply

I think this game is truly brilliant because it demonstrates how a good build order can give you a great up time and the ability to get your army out when your opponent is vulnurable or unprepared and how causing dmg and capitalizing on it can pay off for you and snowball further. For a new player it illustrates the importance of well timed agression and how it can put you ahead. Personally I don't have the game knowledge or timings yet to do it this well but it illustrates the concept.

I agree. I used to play arena only because I'd get scout rushed all the time, then I learned Arabia and basic scout rushed and drushes. Now I suffer on arena because I can't do damage until castle age at least! 😂😂

Saymyname is a good player but this game really shows why the Viper is ranked so high. Viper has all the golds scouted and keeps an eye one them to know where to pressure and Viper is also skilled enough to get relics while still keeping up the pressure on Saymyname. This I feel are 2 big differences that kept Saymyname from winning this game.

To the guy in chat who said "Why not make it even number games so we can get draws" This actually hurts the higher rated player If two players draw, the lower player gains points and the higher player loses points. This means if there are 4 games in a series, the better player has to win 3/4 to actually win the series and gain any points. It also reduces the chances of the lower player getting a win by a lot. They'd have to be dominating to make an upset. Also draws aren't very exciting and are harder to rank.

Also what happens when 1 player wins the first half of the matches? Who TF going to get upset about playing for at best a draw? You totally remove the possibility for a reverse sweep. No draws is best.

really like the concept so far and hopefully it will take of, but if mabye i could come with one sugestion, would mabye be for the ones that watch the whole series, because as you uploaded with this one we allready see viper won the first game, so mabye like a 10 sec intro that explain this is like second or third game in the series, so you dont end up getting spoiled who won the other games, just a minor thing though :)

This Titan League really give players like SayMyName to have a chance against the BIG guns, and he did so well ! i'm excited to see if in 6-12 months the best players will still be the same, now that concurrence gets harder

The more I see Viper win the more I want him to get challenged by someone. The dude is just so damn good. I'm waiting for the day another player really rises to the top and takes the crown. Mad respect to Viper for being so dominant for so long. GOAT. Just ready for change as a viewer. Same as other sports teams being too good for the competition, haha

My guess is either Hera or Liereyy. Viper is showing signs of aging. He gets tired after a few hours of playing. But his mind is still sharp and that makes him very deadly and creative with his strategies. I think in a few years time, Hera or Liereyy will best him. That's with time.

Viper used to dominate this game even harder back in the day. I think out of the 23 big tourneys for solos, he came in 1st in 21 of them over a span of like 5-8 years or so. But man when Viper is playing at his best, I'm convinced no one can beat him.. His highest level of play seems to be way beyond the other pros.

Last video I watched you talked about the AOE2 food chain and I would say that for some reason saymyname is higher on the food chain than TheViper (sometimes). Saymyname is great but he's like down the food chain on most other players but for some reason with TheViper, saymyname is higher

yooo they should introduce new mechanic. crossbows shooting over woodlines, or from under a cliff, past buildings should suffer big accuracy reduction

One of the best games i 've ever seen and i've seen a bunch. Saymyname should have gone for British Longbowmen instead of sticking with crossbows. The extra range would have been enough to defend against everything Viper would've used. Great job on him though to make Viper sweat

I feel like, sometimes they just give up because of the pressure of dealing with the snake. Which is sth I would totally do if I were somehow nearly as good as them. It's hard to beat the top man

one cannot stop the viper, you can only slow him down.

The only way to stop the viper is to smother him. You have to make it impossible for him to produce units.
