TheViper vs DauT vs TaToH vs Nili vs Jordan, an AoE 2 Quiz | Kings & Plebeians: Episode #17 

Hey everybody thanks for watching this video! This was by faaaaaaaar my most challenging video to produce yet. I had to drive 1500km in 2 days, had to take all necessary equipment with me (Desktop PC, monitor, keyboard, mouse, audio interface, stands, webcam, 2 iPads, 3 microphones, whiteboards and I'm certainly forgetting a lot more), didn't get much sleep... Let alone how much money I had to spend to make this a reality, which I'm too embarrassed to share... 😅🙈 I am proud of the final result though, so I do hope you guys will get a laugh out of this. You could also do taunts, like "which numbers is "Wood please"?" Or the players could ask them to alternately answer questions like "Name a civ with paladins" until one player makes a mistake.

Can't believe they didn't get any of the civs' themes right, given that pros usually play a lot of tournaments and they get to hear the themes right before the game starts. I got all of them right xD. Always enjoy the episodes, thanks Masmorra.

Wow its surprising how the pro players dont mostly recognize the civ themesong, as a new player myself who love the game music interpretation for each civ, I can answer all that questions easily.

I'm so surprised they struggled with the jingles. I had all of them correct! I suppose that's the difference between a pro player and an Age of Empires II fan. I know a lot of stupid little facts but I'll never get above 1.5k ELO 😂😂

For the question 'Which civs can get more than max pop without conversions' I was wondering if Elite Kipchaks trained with the Cuman Mercenaries take 1 pop each; since they can otherwise be created for free for Cumans and their allies.

In the Tree Cutting Question, isnt the Siege Onager missing? Or is that combined within the Onager Class?

I dunno. I was thinking Malay for a civ with a unique building in Imp. They get it with an upgrade but it's still a unique building. Funny enough on the civ song questions the first two were ones I played a lot when I played a lot and I felt like a genius.

29:21 I thought the questions was "fully upgraded heavy cav archer and fully upgraded siege ram" but reading it again I understood it is "fully upgraded HCA and access to siege ram". Was confused by turks for one second since they don't have Siege engineers.

I try to guess the questions myself. Got every civ jingle wrong. Can't believe it.

Turns out, us low elo legends would probably beat pros in guessing jingles.

I want to suggest to use fewer or no e-sports-related questions. They're generally boring because the audience can't participate if they haven't watched the particular tournament you're talking about. And not even the pros themselves seem to remember them well. Otherwise really good content!

obviously gl bois mute the civ theme music, which is sad, because i actually can name all of these civs while they couldn't :(

Great video. In Corona times I used to host my pub quiz via Twitch. Had up to 40 teams participating. If you are ever interested to do one of your quizzes for a public audience let us have a chat about it. It worked surprisingly well eventhough cheating cannot really be stopped in such an online format. maybe with aoe and non aoe trivia
