They did vantage a huge sevice. Being able to tac while not having los is gonna be great. Being able to tac backwards without looking will really help with getting out of fights. Her tac should've been like this from launch imo
They weren't clear when they wrote that in the notes. When they mean without LOS they mean if there' an obstruction. You still have to be facing Echo or have echo in frame. But if it's behind a building it'll still work and try to slide you around that building. No strafe jumps or backward jumps for us unfortunately...would have been awesome.
I also like how they reduced the flinch as ìt was kind of annoying to adjust agaisnt it, i never tried this season yet but i love it all the buffs this season is crazy the game gotten so much better since season one. Everyone who hates jusr doesnt understand game mechanics and is tired of losing i ran into people who are just godly at the game but they just had better angles than me
Vantage has been my go to since she came out! I'm strictly low tier (dare I say, gutter tier?) with my 0.7 KDR, but I have over 2k Kills with Vantage. I love her movement and seeing the enemies. She's been great and now even better!
No no no no, vantage is my girl. I've been telling y'all but y'all just been talking shit about her. Lol. Just imagine a game with every team running a vantage, you just see 5 lasers in every fight you take. That would be crazy. I thought this would be a bad map for vantage, but I'm actually having a lot of fun with her. I'ma be really upset when I can't play her every game like now, but also happy she's in the rotations. Feels nice to see someone off in the distance and easily punish them for being out in the open. Which is exactly what Vantage should be able to do with her alt. And them tippy toe snipe's make me feel dirty but in a good way lol. Like I shouldn't but I love that I can I can see why you need that balance of punishing people out in the open, but not being able to use that ability up close in a push. It would be too of in that case.
Her alone on a team wouldn't change the meta, but if dam near every team was running her and able to punish people out in the open. I think that would change how people engage in fights. You constantly have to be watching out for lazers. Force more thoughtful pushes, in that world catalyst with her wall would be needed to push in the open. But with so many buildings around to take cover, I'd love to see vantage make the AGLS. I'm no pro, but I wonder why nobody has tried running her. Just third party snipe's to get points. Not only would you be getting kill points, you'd proactively be taking points from other teams. Instead of them getting the 3 kills for the wipe they get 2 cause vantage got 1. With an octane you might also be able to hurt the winning team enough to pad in and get the kills. Basically make the ultimate third party team, do thoughtful damage to both teams during their fight, then get in wipe the winner and get out. Maybe at the pro level that's just not feasible but idk if anybody has tried it. IDK what all the pros do in thoughts of game style.
This season i have to say is a big turn around when it comes to apex being fun. The new trios mode is exactly what the game needed. Regular trios was so boring.

I knew it vantage is the stuff man i always play her and people called me ass for it and i ended up getting the dub for us 1v2 the last people the 3rd was one shot but the other 2 players were full, i used her tactical to change my angle and got them lacking climbing the wall the other guy i caught lacking in the open was a pretty fun game not going lie
Don't get too excited guys and enjoy it while it last. You know what's going to happened next once a legend get good/great buffs? They will nerf them to the ground. Trust me, all legends that seems nice to play with will get nerfed down the line
Honestly most of the changes are fine, the only thing that needs to change is how easy it is to hit with her ult and they need to take away the digi threat outlines... That was 100% the worst thing they've ever put in the game and it makes literally anyone a good sniper. When you're target is outlined in bright red and you have a bullet drop indicator... absolutely pathetic how stupid that change was
@haku4841 people who say she's weak is because they are probably using her as an aggressive legend. Not as a real recon. If I'm playing recon, I could care less about kills, I'm there to give my teammates information and support damage ( what your supposed to use vantage as)

As a semi vantage main I love everything they did.... BUT... They didn't touch her hit box she's a walking water heater but if you prepare mentally for it this season is gonna be f***in sick

Honestly for a game that is dead he does pretty well for himself in terms of views and me as an apex player the game is still fun so I don’t see a point in leaving the game I’m replying to toilettrauma
How does one get past 4 wins in a row, because thats when everyone knows what they are doing and its so hard to get past some squads because everyone is cordinated and holds good angles i watch but dont understand how they play it like that i even record my old plays of when i always die and than i try figure out what i could have done better but i still bad lol cant get past 4 wins
Finding 2 teammates or friends to play with consistently really helps. Being able to know what your teammates are thinking/doing without having to ask adds so much to the flow of your games. My highest Win streak is 8 or 9 and it's because I've been playing with the same dudes for 4 or 5 years. Eventually you get this level of unspoken communication that only comes with time. But having people to play with helps you win fights, get better at the game, and honestly have more fun! Hope this helped!:)
