Well there are a few things. First the stigma that you only learned one strat on one map. It’s like one-tricking in League of Legends or Valorant, only ever playing one thing. You don’t grow as much, usually. Second, naturally, if there is a meta or widely loved playstyle, people will only want to play on maps that promote this playstyle. Longer maps allow for people to beat rush spammers who are just hyper-aggressive at every turn and struggle to defend ceramics on round 19, short maps prevent people from using life regen towers and always taking it late game for constant 20min+ rounds that somehow always beat every single FBAD you could dream of, and then there are maps with good water spots vs bad water spots. Again, there’s an idea that variety necessitates adaptability. Lastly, it kinda wastes the other players’ time. Imagine these are your thoughts: “Alright i’m so excited to play Oasis… oh i don’t like Bot factory, i’m not comfortable with Heli, so let’s skip that… oh hey Star is a classic one, lemme swap to tack shooter… why’d they dc at the last second? Ugh, they wasted 2 minutes i could have spent recording! Now i have to edit that out!” It’s to keep the games flowing out of courtesy. If the other player in the example dc’s, they are considered at fault for tilting or being a poor sport, so they are the ones to get penalized, not you! For videos, it is probably a good idea to have a backlog of challenge requests to swap between, that way you are always making content from games, even losses. In fact, having some well-fought losses would display how difficult but fun a strat could be. You discovered that sometimes the Boomerang is best as a Bionic boomer in some cases in a recent video, and that was neat, and i also struggle with boomer, so i learned from it! I inly have 12 hours in battles 2 (USING CODE BOLTRIX, BABY!) so it was actually really useful.

banana farm, village, and glue is OP for rushing early game, go top path glue and buff it with a village while farming as efficiently as possible, it doesnt fall off late game either
