The mask... being able to possess dead bodies is so GOOD. I was worried it would be just another "Oh, just don't put it on, or people will get mad at you" type of gimmick. But, nahhhhh, if it can possess dead bodies, carrying a mask is always a risk. I love it.
@@bruhthatexists Other then cosmetic items and reskins, I don’t see anything about new maps or enemies from modders. And before you mentioned about the Lasso-man, that is an unreleased and incomplete entity that is already in the game file. The Brutal Company mod simply made it accessible and did not create it.
@@Zack_ZanderI don’t know about new maps but I have seen a mod that changes the shadow monster that snaps you’re neck and takes you’re body(can’t remember it’s name) and makes it into a creature that can mimic the things your crew mates have said to trick you into coming into its line of site. It’s pretty cool you should check it out if you pair it with the mod that lets monsters leave the building it can create some very funny and scary scenarios
I like how everyone was asking for a monster that mimicked voice lines from people to attract them but the devs just went full on beast mode and added a literal brain parasite
I noticed the Coilhead being similar to SCP-173, while the new Mask is similar to SCP-035, but I can't believe I didn't realized the Blind Dogs is like SCP-939. Literally 3 for 3.

One thing that could make the mask pretty scary. Having the possessed person talk but have their voice distorted. The screams of “GET AWAY, STAY AWAY” or when the possessed person just tries to torment the alive people
I think one of the updates for that multiplayer SCP game added the ability for dogs to repeat the last thing a player they ate said with some minor audio cutting available, do maybe the mask could do the same? Just mindlessly repeat the last words their victim said?
there's a mod where mobs use AI voices to replicate your actual voice, and a mimic has used the voice of a dead friend and i almost got killed for it, it was great
We used a skin walker mod tonight where the game saves audio clips of you talking and plays it through monsters, I got possessed and the last thing "I" said to my teammate was "we aren't going to die"
The skinwalker mod is so funny. It confused one of us once when I played, but it has mostly been funny. We had a hoarding bug staying near the main entrance, and all of a sudden it turned aggro and started singing "I Wonder" by Kanye since we were playing it in the ship and it slaughtered one of our friends whilst doing so. It was amazing
Bro that's messed up, imagine if naturally spawning mimics had a random player's name on top of them too, like just a completely random steam username with lethal company in its library
@@aimrurtYou can yoink them, it's just hard to to without them shooting you first + they're super jittery. Also they'll just start trying to beat you to death if you do manage to yoink.

Imagine a full proper collab with SCP adding entity skins, a special map (S++ difficulty with metric fuck ton of scrap, and its the facility from CB) like imagine a rework of Jester that only applies to that map, making him look and function like 096, but still has the "target" mechanic of the normal Jester, making it more likely for someone to look at its face

so the body becomes bugged when you teleport it, it looks normal but with a mask on, is twitching a bit, and when you spectate it, it looks like it looking all sorts of directions? also you cant pick it up
the mask genuinely terrified me yesterday lol was just minding my own business collecting some stuff outside when i see someone walking and i just thought "oh the other guys are probably just returning the stuff back to the ship" and then it followed me and boom jumpscare

That first mask encounter was legit from a horror movie One of the main character's friends treats the haunted object as a joke only to be killed by their own hubris The second friend also underestimates the monster and is killed by them And the final guy is left to fend for himself
My friend told me that there were monsters that could take the form of crewmates so I was like “simple enough” little did I know they actually ARE your crewmates possesed

My group's first discovery of the mask, I glitched it by putting it on as we were leaving orbit, which meant when it triggered... I was fine, albiet voice muffled. And then my sister put one on in the next mission. I died saying "Wait, I'm already wearing one, wait!"
