AYYYYE audio & music guy for the game here again!! I had an absolute blast doing the music for the new levels, especially Level Fun. Your reactions to the various weird lyrics & noises I sneaked into the songs really made my week! I also absolutely love your interpretation of the lyrics at 58:00. In case you're wondering, it's actually saying: "There's nothing to be scared of, besides the urethra bugs." "Your fingers are made of candles, I chew on door handles." "Also known as doorknobs, but I'm sure you'll sneeze later." (The strange sound you kept hearing in the song was me sneezing.)

IGP and Skilly: _Sees stop signs_ IGP: "No I dont think I will." Skilly: "That sign can't stop me because I cant read."

Hey Skilly, hospitals probably don't use blue wall paint and such because it's calming, but because they see red for such long periods they start to find it difficult to differentiate shades of red, which can be problematic during surgery. Red and blue/green are at the opposite ends of the color spectrum, so it more or less helps to recalibrate a surgeon's eyesight while operating for hours. (1:08:24)

45:56 In Backrooms “lore” the hooded guys next to the Partygoers are called Partypoopers. They’re an entity in the backrooms that sometimes roam in the party rooms. Though they are an entity type being they actually like humans and usually give them refuge in the “Boredom rooms” where they try to help travelers get out of the backrooms and into reality again. In lore, Partypoopers are said the be extremely friendly and passive to humans. So much so, they’d go as far as to fight off and sacrifice themselves to the partygoers so that the person they’re protecting or guiding can escape from the partygoers. Also, Great video! I love these hour long videos that can help keep the depression away! :D (Edit) I hadn’t finished the video when I wrote this but near the end, the hoodie bro that had lead Igp & skilly out was - wanna guess? - a Partypooper.

I love the seriousness of the backrooms but also the hyper energetic chase scenes with the bumping tunes and constant screaming. Brings me joy it does. Honestly, if it ain't a Subnautica video, or a Cthulhu video, it's a backrooms video. And I adore it. Thanks for the update. That low rumbling sound though, man I'd kill to hear that silence and that rumble beter.

I love that during the escape scene, IGP intelligently decides to jump constantly, always bumping into every door and exit sign fixture possible.

Nothing like having a whole hour of IGP and Skilly panicking and getting into shenanigans in the backrooms. IGP is spoiling us today🤭 And just wanted to say thank you IGP for your videos, they’ve always been a blast to watch. I’ve been using them as background audio while I do my college assignments and I’ll soon be transferring to university. So keep up the good work and take good care of yourself!

For those who don’t know, the blue guy is part of a group known as “The party poopers,” I don’t know too much, but from what I know they are either entities or people who go to war with the party goers. They are some of my favorite parts of the backrooms along with the bone snatcher that killed igp in the level where they needed to constantly no-clip. The bone snatcher is an entity that can just vaporize your bones turning you into nothing but a bag of flesh, they normally have holes on the top of their head that represent eyes that are always releasing a blue liquid, they’re eyes are indeed inside of their mouths as shown in the game. (Sorry for the yapping but I just wanted to talk about my two favorite entities 😂)

The chase music feels like it accomplishes stress and weirdness at the same time, with the intensity in the music, and also the weather warning sounds and the random “hey” every one and again.

I think Skilly was thinking the movie Volcano where the subway chief carries the train driver through the melting subway cars and then in a beast move he throws himself into the lava so he could make the throw "possible". dudes a hero lol

My father-who also never learned how to swim-used to talk about being in a pool the same way. He insisted that he just sank in water and got all annoyed whenever anyone told him to just stand up!

That run room in the game is actually more accurate to how it is described in the backrooms lore however it’s supposed to be even more nerve wracking.

So this time we have Clumps, the thing that chased you through the chase scene and roamed the pool rooms. Basically exactly what it looked like, a clump of arms and legs. The green water in the pool rooms probably was the living water entity, it makes people wanna swim in it and the moment they do they get infected by it and connect to it and it's hivemind like structure made out of everyone that swam in it. (If I remember that correctly now) The hooded guy that helped you escape the fun rooms was a partypooper. Basically the opposite of the party goers. Super friendly to people, they will try to help you escape even if it's costing them their life. They also been in a sort of war with the party goers, which the party goers eventually won. That's why in that room there was "We won the war" written on some walls, which also I guess was the boredoom room thinking bout it. The thing that killed you behind those stop sign in level0 was a bone thief. Normally he would be somewhere on a level and the moment you look into it's eyes your bones dissappear.However it can only debone one at a time. It will then eat what is left of you whole. It's eyes are inside the mouth and on it's head are empty eye sockets that leak blue fluids. It can mimic humans and other entities to lure people to approach. Then there's the windows ... well it's just that. Fake windows that appear to have someone standing behind them, they will lure people close to them to consume them. Don't actually remember the "spider" thing, So no lore on that frome me ... But hey in the end, you escaped the backrooms ... but at what cost? Great vid as always man.

Little bit of Backroom lore : "The Fun War" was a war between the party goers and party poopers that happened in level fun which originaly wasn't known as "fun" but became "fun" when the party goers won the war and drove the party poopers to near extinction, the surviving party poopers hid in a sub level of level fun.

This is awesome, just two buddies playing together, enjoying a nice game of fear, we all should know its gonna be a good day.

Lol Skilly that was a blend if both movies. Dante's Peak has the acid lake with the wooden boat and grandma jumps in (for no damned reason) to drag them to shore. Volcano has the... volcano, in LA. That has a scene where the foreman guy carries a worker and jumps into the lava and gets him to safety while burning alive.

That music in the Level Fun rooms was so strange. I thought it was just gibberish at first, but when you put the lyrics on the screen, I laughed so hard. I think it would have been better as gibberish at that point. 😂

blue is supposed to be a calming colour, but it's also supposed to be a sad colour, plus the fact that places we don't like going like the dentist try to theme themselves after calming colours can cause those colours to feel less calming as they remind us more of those places we don't like
