In regard to Ash's hand, I'm pretty sure this is supposed to be the younger Ash during Evil Dead 1 / Beginning of Evil Dead 2 before his hand got possessed and he had to cut it off.

It's just cuz of a right's issue, they used the license for Evil Dead 2 meaning they could only use stuff from that movie in terms of appearance which means no metal hand unfortunately which is why he has his real hand

Fun Fact: Ash (And his actor) is actually left handed, so having him holding the gun with his right hand is technically inaccurate. This is why his right hand was cut off.

The music/sound effect on the "downed" execution is awesome. I hadn't realized each execution had it's own custom audio until the end there at 14:26 . Nice touch.

he cut his own hand off in the second movie, a demon bit it and the hand started to get effected, he used the chainsaw to cut it off and made the whole chainsaw hand, the boomstick is just a normal double barrel but he cut the barrel off to a more short range weapon! just incase anyone hasn’t watched Evil Dead 2!

@@PeppinSpaghett. ED1 Ash didn't ever have a chainsaw. Plus, the strap for the chainsaw wasn't added until Evil Dead 2 after he had lost his hand. So, having both hands, he would have to have a prosthetic limb. That would make him the Army of Darkness Ash.

@@domg6041 well you've definitely never seen ED1 for a AWHILE considering that ED1 ash uses the Homelite XL-12 Model chainsaw (which then turns into the Regular XL Model for whatever reason) Then again he doesn't have an AK-103 or an Over-Under Barrel Shotgun at all so that destroys any continuity.

It is evil dead 2 ash legally, they basically got him from the end of the film to look like AOD, he still has a hand and non ripped shirt as proof, at the end of ed2 he looks identical to the start of AOD except no metal hand
