THEY ARE AMAZING! | Introducing 7 members of BTS (2021) REACTION (PART1) 

When Jin says he was 20/21 he’s talking in Korean age. He was 18 in international age when he joined Big Hit and started his singing lessons and 20 when they debuted.

SUGA is a definition of true artist. He is honest, straightforward, intelligent and it shows in his raw and emotional lyrics. His whole existence revolves around music. As Jin said "our SUGA, he’s a friend who has an immense passion for music. To the point i wonder if he didn’t become a singer or songwriter/producer, what would he be? Everything surrounding him -hobbies, personal life - is all tuned around music. He’s someone that makes me think: “he looks amazing as a singer, as someone who makes songs.” SUGA started writing songs at 13 years old and when he had multiple part time jobs he was working at record studio and was giving MIDI lessons. He wrote 16 bars a day when he was a teenager and then one song a day. He says he writes music not because he thinks he should but because it's his best amusement, lyrics are just writing themselves in his head. He always brings his equipment on vacations and makes music everywhere, even on sets. When they've been asked what they would do without BTS other members answer different jobs, but SUGA is always consistent about his answer and says that he will be producer and songwriter even without BTS. He is an established producer, who works with other artists and wins awards, he is very deep lyricist, who writes about important problems in society, he is versatile composer. He can play piano by ear and credited for piano in many songs. He can read music sheets, he has perfect pitch and he can hear a musical note and identify or recreate it perfectly. He plays guitar and practiced his guitar 6 hours a day. He is learning drums as well. His studio is named Genius Lab and Media calls him "miracle writer", "worldwide music producer", "musical genius", "Daegu wordsmith", "king of the music industry"

Music saved SUGA's live that's why he is so passionate about it. He had really tough life and went through many hardships. Music is his way of therapy and his music saved many lives

The reason why Jin made eatjin is even more touching. He made the segment for people who have a hard time eating. So that they would feel more comfortable

SUGA works as producer outside of BTS (the only member who does it). He produces for famous Korean, Japanese artists, western ones like Coldplay aand Halsey. He also produced ringtone for Samsung Galaxy

Yoongi (SUGA) has many interests and hobbies besides cooking. For example, he studies psychoanalysis and psychology, interested in architecture, electronics, economics, painting. He reads a lot and plays basketball, has red belt in taekwondo. But his biggest passion is of course music. He is inseparable with it. He even wrote a song "First love", which is about his love for music and piano

RM is definitely the foundation of bts without him the band would have never existed :) and the rap line in general are the musical pillars of the goup as you'll see they have the most credits when it comes to writing, composing and producing. though the vocalists have definitely been more and more involved in all things song creation in the last couple years and we're still hoping they'll also release solo mixtapes :D thank you for your reaction, your genuine interest in them is amazing to watch 💜

I am happy that you found BTS. Their meesages of self love, acceptance, altruism, and environmental concerns go beyond age restriction. I am 68. American. I have followed BTS for years. I am not ARMY. Too old for that, but very happy that ARMY exists. I vote for BTS in all awards. I hope you will too. I am enjoying your reactions. I suggest both the MV for Permission to Dance & their performance at the UN. They have addressed the United Nations three times. Quite an accomplishment for just a k-pop band. Their influence for good is massive & you are correct. Behind the scenes they are adorable. Like a bunch of puppies. They absolutely love one another. It's no act. Jin said that the members are like his cell phone or wallet. He isn't comfortable without them.

People have different reasons for not following their talents, it's not that easy for everyone , you have to be lucky and dedicated. When I was in high school, I was famous for being great at everything. I played basketball, netball, volleyball, badminton and I did swimming. I trained my vocals for 9 years, played piano, violin, guitar and bongo. I took dancing classes for 3 years. I was active as a MC and often got selected to represented my school events because of my outgoing personality. So, lot of people had high hopes for me. But my dad and mum had different dreams for me. They wanted me to be a engineer or do a "white collar job". I could not let them down, they treated me as a princess with everything a girl could dream of. So, I gave up everything , my dreams my passion and my happiness. And I did well in my exams but I got depression and lost the cheerful girl whom I used to be. I put up a mask of happiness in day time and I cried whole night. I was ready to give up. But then I found BTS , they showed me how to be happy with simplest things, I'm still working on that . It's been 5 years since they came to my life and now I'm getting better ,it took me 5 years to realize what to do next. I have a huge respect for them. Sorry , I was not planning to write an essay. Never mind. He Heeee.😅

Once you start watching their shows like RunBTS, Bon Voyage, In the Soop and various other Bangtan Bombs you’ll realize that they are really humble and talented men who deserve everything they have now! Suga not only plays piano and guitar, but learns drums

He said in the past that piano was his only friend when he was a kid. He wrote "First Love" for his piano. He had discovered early at a child that he wants to make music and he did it.

I was drawn to Suga when I first got into BTS and then fell in love when I met Agust D... I have belonged to Min Yoongi every since 💜

The live rap you liked is Outro: Tear. It's a song Suga wrote about the time they were talking about disbanding. It's such a good song and my favourite from the rap line and a very emotional piece for them. It's interesting to see someone getting to know BTS and love them even more after watching these documentaries... This is a good start, wherein u get to know who is who and how good they are not just as a group but individually... They are all incredibly talented and hardworking individuals... And u will get to love them more and more if u get to dig deeper like watching their reality shows like RUN BTS, BTS BON VOYAGE, and BTS IN THE SOOP... There u will see what they are as normal persons, their strong bonds that hold them together, and that they are like brothers... They love each other so dearly, with no competition at all... They support and respect each other... That's what makes BTS a whole lot different from any other groups in the world... Not to mention how amazing and incredible they are onstage... A few "extras": - The song you heard J-Hope singing, and also JK singing when Jin was playing, is Spring Day (you know - the "no jokes" one 😉) - Their solo project songs, covers and mixtapes are released for free. You can find them on Soundcloud. - At this point quite a few of them have also made ost's for movies/series as well. - Besides not singing Jin also had no dancing experience. He litterally started from scratch at the age of 20. - RM has an IQ of 148 so he's *litterally* a genius. Before BTS he's won several writing and poetry competitions. 💜Borahae💜

I love their music but I think I love them as ppl even more. I love watching all the stuff they put out cuz they share soooo many behind the scenes videos on their RU-vid channel bangtantv & then the had a weekly tv show Run BTS we here they played games to win prizes/avoid punishment (it just went on break so now is a good time to catch up) & BTS in the soop where they hang out & cook all day. Their posts are automatically the best part of my week

Intro to BTS, yay! Tbh it doesn't matter if I'm PMS-ing or not, cute clips from BTS always work on me. And you haven't gotten to some really deep and adorable and wholesome stuff yet! There's gonna be things that will straight up make you cry, and that's OK, they share those moments with us, so we get to experience that too. About pronouncing their names correctly, please don't worry about it! It's pretty simple once you know a couple rules. You read Kim Namjoon really well! As for SUGA, 민윤기 (Min Yoongi) G is pronounced same as G in a word "good". ㄱ symbol in Korean sounds something like between g/k . It variates a bit depending on its place in a word, but in this case is just soft G as we'd say "good" :) Now for Hobi, 정호석 (Jung Hoseok), J is pronounced as J in "jam". After Hangul is written in romanized alphabet, J is always gonna sound like J in "jam". And Hoseok is pronounced more like "Hosok". Same with Jin, 김석진 Kim Seokjin sounds more like "Sokjin". There are a few different O's in Korean, but to tell the difference you'd need to really study the language or listen to it a lot :) It's going to be easier saying their names after watching a bit more content where they call each other, so you can hear it how it sounds :) Also you might notice them adding some words or particles at the end of their names, like hyung (for example, they like to call SUGA "SUGA hyung", or "Yoongi hyung") and -shi (Jungkook calls JImin "Jimin-shi" a lot, Jimin also calls Jungkook "Jungkook-shi" a lot). Hyung is a word for an older brother and it's kind of showing respect, but in a close way, like older person in a family (even when they're not blood related). -shi also shows respect, but I think it's not related to age, because Jimin is older, but calls Jungkook with this particle all the time (please correct someone if I'm wrong at this one, I'm not 100% sure!) Can't wait for part 2 tomorrow!

regarding the komca credits, the creator of the vid got a wrong info. It only credits the composing and writing for the members, excluding the producing. Suga got the most songs (about 40-50) produced for his solo, bts, and other artists. Next is rm with 10, all of them works on their own music. Suga already established his name as a producer outside of bts and he's pretty indemand in korea and also for international artists. He's also the first bts member to be full member of KOMCA back on 2018, now all the rappers are now full mems. Only 25 members are picked per year and komca is all throughout asia. i'm a september baby too. probably why i feel ya. hahaha these men are so amazingly talented and their songs are meaningful - mental awareness, social awareness, political, etc. BUT another thing that garners support from people is their personalities. they're very real and humble. they have many videos of their interactions and they have their own variety show (run bts - currently have 100+ episodes already which is just so entertaining and fun and showcases their dynamics and characters out of the stage). seriously, they're inspiring and kind and relatable. 💜

Pronunciations: Surnames are first. RM, Kim Namjoon - "kim nam-june" Suga, Min Yoongi - "min yoongy", not "j". J-Hope, Jung Hoseok - "juhng ho-suhk" Jin, Kim Seokjin - "kim suhk-jin" Jungkook, Jeon Jungkook - "juhn juhngkook" The "u" and "eo" are pronounced the same, "uh" or "ugh".

I’m a 54 year old Army, and that is why I love them too! I have 2 boys of my own and all 7 seven seem like my boys too! I’m so proud of them and will support them till the day I die! 💜

Please check out Who is BTS? The 7 members of Bangtan (introduction) by Suga and Spice. It helped me personally in identifying them individually and their personalities, an older version but it did helped me a lot in understanding and knowing them.

You will usually hear the other members calling J-Hope, Hobi these days. He is the sub leader. RM says he relies a lot him to help out. He’s also the dance captain for the group. He helps the others learn the dances. If they make a mistake they always look at Hobi to see if he’s noticed but he’s never cross with them. SUGA writes about 290 songs a year. His parents were not supportive at first but have come to accept his choices. He sings about impressing his mother in several songs. He really didn’t want to dance but he’s now an excellent dancer despite suffering from a serious shoulder injury which he only had fixed at the end of 2020. He has a wide general knowledge with no end of obscure facts at his fingertips. Yes, like any young men living so close together (they lived in a tiny apartment and all slept in the same small room at first) they fought. Their CEO, Bang Si-hyuk, gave them the tools to cope. They all sit down as a group to solve their disagreements. You will find a video showing a big disagreement between Jin and V and the group talking it out.

Please watch "Who is BTS?: The Seven Members of Bangtan" This goes into each members background in more detail and talks about each member's different personality. For instance, in this video it did not mention that J-Hope is the sunny, bubbly member who is always making jokes and making everybody laugh. Nor did it mention the hardship RM has had bec he was panned by the underground rap scene in Korea, etc. It's worth watching

Love to see the mad props going out for Suga. He is my bias. And a lot of the reason has to do with how he is not scared to confront hard or taboo social issues

BTS share a lot behind the scenes. Yes they had conflicts…often over food!..however they have lived together 10 years as business partners/friends/brothers and have always worked through issues by discussing them between all 7. Check out YT video on Jin & V argument. Shows an example of how they work out an argument as a group.

for Kpop groups, I mean basically all Kpop groups (girl and boy) will do singing, dancing and rapping altogether for their songs. members of Kpop groups are all trained for years in singing, dancing and raopping before they debut. it is also quite common for most Kpop groups to have at least 1 member or more to speak fluent English. BTS is currently the biggest Kpop group in the world and is sure a good start for you to begin in your Kpop music journey provided if you have that interest.

What did Suga do? He was poor! Succeeding or not wasn't an option. He had a fall out with his parents because he wanted to persue music (their relationship is better now), he was ripped off selling his music...yeah, life was real tough. He always wanted to be a songwriter and earn his own money, but becoming famous wasn't in that plan, because of his public anxiety. He didn't want to dance but he's good at it having such a feel for rhythm. He's streetsmart, an old soul and such a humble person. Outspoken. He's grown on me so much during the years.
