Wow, I really wish these features were integrated in the game itself. Like adjusting amount of mountain, wood, mineral availability etc. Also another feature could be that we enter a seed that would create a map specific for that seed.
First of all, really nice run, thank you for the video. Second, that's a cool defense spot, that was fun. And zombies running away from your base??? What was that?! This game doesn't stop to surprise me!
YYYEEEESSSS!! I was just talking about how satisfying mutant pulls were in a comment on a precious video and then we get one at 33:30. Even with the super rare radar tower 🤣 I’m sorry you lost tho lmao
Incredible gameplay brother!, by i didn't know if was a bug or something else, but when i was playing vanilla 900% maps, i've got a doontown bigger than this one, she was a MEGA, lol, have a great day man!
ok now time for someoen to roll with this script to get a a tiny pocket with the only entrance being towards the giga doomtown and we got another awesome impossible map video
The real problem about doomtown is that... it generates on top of the obstacles; trees, rocks, water, completely remowing it. So if I script the whole map in doomtown, there wouldn't be any defence spot and most likely forest will only occure at starting area, making a huge lack of wood
@@xXKhornethGoldenXx yeah, thats why the doomtown in the only choke maps have to be rolled for, as to make a script that reliably makes them is impossible
I find mines to be nearly useless for wave defense. They damage nearby structures meaning you cannot use them effectively near walls to create 'surprises' as they breach each layer. I once had a grasslands map that was walled off by terrain such that I was squeezed into a wedge in the lower right corner. Interesting as I managed to clear my area well before the end wave and had to wait it out.
I think the map might be harder if it is more open, i.e. less mountains. If you want to constrain space, you could increase iron deposits to the point that it blocks out large buildings areas, but without the bonus of blocking zombie pathing.
After scratching my chin for weeks, thinking about this run, one single thought came into my mind: what happens if you try to build tesla towers over the forest and mountain pockets to build a outpost for farming, logging and mining in the closed valleys?
Thanks for the entertaining run. I have an idea for a future game... Mod it so that Giants have the same pull mechanics as mutants. Even on just an average 900% map, I feel like that could make things interesting.
Some people just want to see the world burn... ...in addition mod the terrain generation to exclude mountains, only sparse forest keep you from having to wall a circle around your base.
You really should stop getting those bonus buildings - this map was was so great with that executor and it still wasn't used... Though I would lie to say that I don't have similar issue while playing xD
