Finally Bob the soldier had his revenge on those snipers making fun of him. his investment in smaller but faster dakka paid off in the end, showing that size does not matter, it is how much lead you are putting in the target that does.
Hey man, another great video. I've been watching your stuff for years and just wanted to say thanks for all the content. This is my favorite game so I really do appreciate the hard work. Especially your impossible maps series, those are always legendary.
1:37:30 Yeah, those two Chad Hero Rearguards from 1:35:43. Retreat by fire and movement was called and those gentlemen raised their fists and said, "We'll hold theses feths for your retreat as surely as the Emperor Protects, mates. TANITH! FIRST AND ONLY!" 1:04:04 Aaaaaand that 's usually how it ends if they're not main characters.
given that it was day 50 and you found the map walled off as such, I think the right call is to wall up there and not go further. (sending 150 soldiers out for clearing and the rest holding the fort as you can with that area.) can probably make 300-400 soldiers easy enough with that and they should be able to hold.
@@KenseiTV from watching your other runs I'd say that in those early mid portions they do better than snipers. Until of course sniper reach that deathball number.
@@Gal85gal It's usually a matter of using the snipers to their potential. They waste their high damage, overkilling anything with less health than chubbys. Other issue is the range. Spitters are such a pain to soldiers for that reason. So in the end snipers are just easier to use.
They are better vs walkers and runners. But are worse vs specials and giants cause of range. Snipers work better in large numbers as a death ball, cause more units can attack at the same time
The noise amount caused depends on how many workers and colonists the building has, so infecting a farm will cause much more noise than a 1 worker Tesla.
I love your stream, but it makes me want to tear my hair out they way you will produce troops for days at a time...and then leave them at some random rally point while you keep trying to advance with the original fraction. Control your truppen! Schnell! Soldaten Vor!
Damn, i watched countless of your runs with snipers/titans. First time i see soldiers, and to be honest they are terrible in my opinion. Cant even handle normal chubbies/spitters after having 100 of em in a ball. If they wanted them to be useful they should compensate the low range/much lower dmg with much higher HP
Soldiers in survival aren’t that great but in the campaign… Oh man that’s a different story. Soldiers in the campaign are monsters! As a note: soldiers work more effectively if you spread them out into a sort of firing line. They’re good at controlling area. Not taking it.
