We took our boat down from Illinois to Table Rock Lake for two weeks and it developed a milky oil leak uh oh…$3000 later we were on the water. We found a fantastic boat repair guy in Kimberling City who finished it up in 3 days knowing our circumstances he made it a high priority. Probably the most expensive vacation so far for us 🫣Ahh the boat life my wife loves it and I kind of hate it. But a loving husband must do what he has to in order to keep mama happy. Now motorcycles oh yeah, I love them she hates them so it balances out except she has her boat and I no longer own a motorcycle haha
Set up an Aroma Therapy defuser in the boathouse using something like Peppermint, Lavender, or a citrus based one(orange),Tea Tree, Eucalyptus, Lemongrass…etc PS: Bees don’t like peppermint either.

I'm 25-year Navy Reserve Nurse and an O-6. We wore same auto-inflate vests when I was flying as a Flight Nurse for the Navy on SH-60 Seahawk. Saved my life in Persian Gulf on low level training flight. I had just unclipped from harness to reposition to winch side, and was hit by 11-pound cormorant at 21 knots that came in starboard side door and knocked me right out of helicopter at 33 feet altitude above water. Knocked me out and cracked my helmet

We have a friend and they had a similar situation with their Grand Cherokee, 9 weeks at dealership in Palm Springs, Ca. Another example of poor post service. Are you going one large glass, or 6 even sections? You might want sweep out bottom windows for ventilation on hot summer days. So my big question is, what are you 2 going to be for Halloween 👻🎃 lol! Many years ago my father in law ( he looks like the grouchy puppet Walter with Jeff Dunham ) was pricing a new roof. He is very particular and thinks everything should be done faster or should go to he head of the line. He always think someone is out to rip him off and is embarrassing at a restaurant with complaints about the food and is a horrible tipper. Anyway he called me to come over and get an idea about the contractor and ask questions if needed. The company was very reputable and has been in in business for a couple generations. The older gentleman comes and get the ladder off his truck and puts it up to get in the roof to start. My father in law asks “ you’re going to make sure the lines are straight right ( back when a 3 tab shingle was still the most commonly used ) and your guys are not going to get debris in my bushes or nails that I might run over with my lawnmower and get a flat ?” The guy doesn’t say a word and goes to the ladder and puts it back on the truck and gets in. My FIL walks over and say “ we’re you going “? The guy says very polite “ “Sir I’ve been in business over 60 years and have done thousands of roofing jobs and I can see you’re the type of person that no matter how good of a job we do you will not be happy with it and will find something wrong with our workmanship “. He starts the truck and drives away leaving my FIL with mud on his face. I’m a corporate pilot and my daughter is learning to fly a jet in the seat next to me and every week we get someone that has a comment for her about not having a flight attendant on board thinking she shouldn’t just be “ riding around “ She told one young guy before a flight to Bozeman that she pilots this aircraft and isn’t there to wait on him and if he can fly the plane next to me that she will be the attendant on that flight. He quieted up right away as she said “ that’s what I thought “ as she closed up the cabin door and got in the left seat because that day it was her aircraft. Yet they are the first to be more than an hour late like our time is less important that theirs. When my plane goes in for annual or any other maintenance and it’s supposed to take a week or more and it take longer than I think it should I’m certain they are making sure everything is right in their task because the lives of as many as 9 people is worth much more to me than the extra time taken to get it right. Like you said if they didn’t get it done when promised you would go it yourself. There are just some things we are relying on others to do because of knowledge and or time. There are a lot of unreliable people and companies out there but not all of them are. Practice up on your picking skills you might get better results researching who’s the best instead of finding out who’s not and having to do it over again. Live the channel !
